The hotel was beautiful and quiet and their staff was excellent. I was there for almost a month and they made me feel like family. The front desk person (I don't remember the name) was also extremely accommodating when my mother visited for a few days and gave her free breakfast as well. They were always polite and helpful, ready to answer any questions. The housekeeping staff was extremely efficient and left water bottles and toilet paper outside even when I put the \"do not disturb sign.\" Whenever I go back to Istanbul, I know Taksim Nis will be home for me. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay and keep up the wonderful standards

Total is very good.but your wizz air line is worst service.because we missed flight to Istanbul .we get the massage our flight is delayed but check in close original time.but what is original time can show.we get late and we missed the flight.we rebooked new flight and when return time we pay more money for luggage and check in on airport frees.i m german nationalty.i can understand English.so i can’t able to check in online.its very bad experience.never booked with expedia

Comfortable and good value

We stayed for 3 nights in the room with the terrace and it was fantastic. Comfortable bed. Strong and hot shower. Quiet room. This hotel is run by a friendly family and you can tell they enjoy providing a good experience The breakfast every morning was delicious and cooked fresh. Every morning there was something a little different. I would gladly stay again!

When we first arrived, we were told the hotel was next door by the staff sitting by the front door. Next door was not open or operational. So we stressed for about 15min trying to call reception. Then we asked the same people if they spoke English. They said no, in English. Then we asked where is the hotel and they said “here”. So not sure if they were first having a laugh with us, but we did not find it funny at all. First impressions count.
The room was ready for us, so that was good at it was 8:30am.
The family room is up a flight of stairs and the floor in the room was filthy. But there was a balcony and lots of space. Bfast was simple cheese, meats, breads, salads. But nice and sufficient.
The location is on a hill but walking distance to Taksim Sq train station. But I would not be dragging my suitcase to and from.
Would I stay there again? No.

The staying was very nice all the staff was amazing and welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and everyday they are cleaning the room, the breakfast provided is nice, the hotel is in quiet area you can sleep well,and it is 5 minutes far from Taksim square.
I sugest this hotel for staying, and i will reserve again for my next trip.

This is my first time in taksim nis hotel, I stayed at the triple room, it was very good, the staff are very flexible.
Always at your service and please to serve you.
We asked for a scale and they gladly brought us one.
We requested for a hair dryer since the one at the room was not functioning, so they brought me a functional one immediately.

Нам очень понравился отель. Номер попался просторным. Был холодильник, чайник, плита, но мы ей не пользовались. Всё относительно чисто. Есть небольшой спортзал, бильярдный стол. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый. Есть русскоговорящие. Спасибо этому отелю за тёплый приём.

Not recommended hotel

One of the worst hotels i stayed in my life, nothing went well, you feel like you are in a jail than a hotel. Most of Staff are un trained. House keeping is horrible, breakfast is the worst experience ever, cleanness is not to mention. Overall furniture is really bad and un confortable. AC was not functioning well. Lighting is very bad.

Great hotel close to EVERYTHING.

The hotel was beautifully located in taksim just a 3-4 minute walk to taksim square with hundreds of choices for shopping or food.

The staff was super accommodating and helpful. They called a taxi for us and were available to answer any questions and give recommendations.

Location, size of rooms and staff makes this hotel stand out. This is a small hotel, properly managed with a personal touch service.
The two receptionist are both helpful and accommodating.
There is no elevator and we know this from the beginning. The price is excellent and breakfast is good. (Turkish breakfast).

It is located few minutes walk from Taksim square(5-7 minutes). Rooms are clean and spacious. Bigger than the normal room size in Istanbul.

Brilliant hotel and staff for the price!!

BUT little did I know that the location is literally one of the worst spots in the city(popular for prostitution etc.).

Don't be fooled by how close you'll be to the city centre(Taksim square etc.). If I knew this area was quite dangerous and dirty I'd pay a bit more and find another hotel in a much more decent area!

Don't stay in this hotel

Rating and picture/s is misleading on booking site as it's very small size hotel.
1.Location is close to taksim square but as a tourist all main attractions are in Sultanhamet area which will need commute of about 30 to 40 minutes depending upon traffic- metro is quickest.
2. Hotel is on very steep street if you have kids and luggage then forget about to pull or push trolly bags easily.
3. Hotel is clean but very tiny. There is no space for 4 people to sit together on same table as we struggle during breakfast.
4. Breakfast is very very basic, nothing for kids to enjoy- no cereals! They don't have enough tea cups or glasses during breakfast and we had to ask each time and wait until someone wash cups- I think it was discouragement. Same boring breakfast for 7 days!!
5. Staff is nice and friendly.
6. Our room was suit good size and clean but no water glasses, cups or any crockery in kithennete. Room was not cleaned everyday until we complained. My child needed a blanket but needed to order each night to be delivered after midnight.
7. My kids did not enjoy in the hotel as it's not kids friendly hotel.
Please book hotel or a apartment in Sultanhamet area with save time and money. Can i prewarn you that people in istanbul are not very friendly- we have travelled more than 15 countries but this was worst experience!

Very nice hotel, excellent staff

Very nice hotel. The location is very close to taksim square. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, you can ask them for any advice about touristic places or locations and they are very helpful. The breakfast is very good, it includes a considerable variety. The rooms are very clean, and fully equipped with anything you might need. Hotel highly recommended.

We received a very warm welcome at the Taksim Nis Hotel. Our room was on the second floor. Breakfast was lovingly prepared every day. A changing selection of hot egg dishes, sausages, cheeses, desserts, cereals, and jams were available. Coffee or tea and juices were also available. The staff was always available and very friendly.

Perfect location, nice staff and a large room. The room itself could use a little renovation as there was some water damage at the bathroom door and some paint missing/stains on some of the walls. I had a suite with a balcony which was nice, but I thought it was a kitchenette only there were no appliances. All and all, it was a nice stay for a couple of days and it was worth the money.

Das Personal war äußerst höflich und aufmerksam - sie haben mir bereits am ersten Tag kostenlos türkischen Kaffee angeboten, obwohl er normalerweise kostenpflichtig ist. Die Frühstücke waren einfach hervorragend - frische und schmackhafte Gerichte wurden direkt vor den Gästen zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, mit allen notwendigen Kosmetikartikeln ausgestattet, und immer sauber und ordentlich.

Das Taksim Nis Hotel beeindruckt durch sein stilvolles und schönes Design, trotz seiner kleinen Größe. Die Lage ist praktisch - alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, was für Touristen sehr bequem ist. Wir werden definitiv wieder hierher kommen und empfehlen dieses Hotel allen, die diesen Bereich besuchen möchten.

Een top hotel voor een bezoek aan Istanbul. We hadden de ruime familie kamer met balkon en fantastisch uitzicht over Istanbul. Ligging perfect, op 5 minuten lopen van het Taksim Plein, waarvan je met de metro overal heen kan. Supermarkt en restaurants dichtbij. Goede sfeer, behulpzaam en prima ontbijt. Aanrader!
