Great hotel, very friendly staff. Love the cafe and it's service staff. Good selection of food and desserts. Very nice managers.
Sadly the hotel spa and pool did not meet expectations. It was too expensive and I could not use the pool as a piece of plastic around the pool broke and I fell down.

It's near tons of shops and restaurants. The wheelchair ramp is too steep for people that use a walking stick and would be impossible for wheelchair users.
The rooms are great with both a bathtub and showers. Very well maintained daily room cleaning.

I recently stayed at Elite World Istanbul Taksim Hotel for one week, and I can say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.

The hotel itself is exceptionally well maintained, with comfortable rooms, high standards of cleanliness, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Every detail from the quality of the facilities to the attentiveness of the staff reflects a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

I would especially like to highlight Hengameh from the Guest Relations team, whose support truly made my stay outstanding. She demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness throughout my visit. Hengameh went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was smooth and comfortable, always checking in with genuine care and promptly addressing any requests or questions I had. Her calm manner, warm personality, and willingness to help made a significant difference and created a truly memorable experience.

Some of the staff was courteous. Hotel didn’t reserve transportation from airport on time as requested. As a result, I ended up spending about two hours waiting for the hotel to resolve the issue. Finally they got me a dingy old beat up van to pick me up from the airport, and I had to pay $70 for the ride. They argued that I didn’t reserve transportation on time, but I had provided proof of screen shots of text conversations.
Secondly just as a heads up to any booking this hotel. Pay attention to the room size. The rooms sizes are smaller than anticipated. Didn’t have a microwave in my room. Refrigerator was so small couldn’t hold leftover meals.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room view was terrible, facing another building. The hotel and service were far from a five-star hotel experience. The second shift reception staff were rude and unhelpful, which ruined the stay. Hengameh at the front desk was polite and tried to help, but even with her assistance, it could not make up for the overall bad experience.

The hotel has one of the best locations and offers excellent service with the most professional and fast staff you can find in Istanbul. The overall experience was great, and the service was outstanding.
My only note is about the breakfast — it was not very well organized, and not everything was available. If you go down about half an hour before closing, most of the items are already finished.

Our experience at the Elite Taksim Hotel in Istanbul was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was nonstop – attentive, friendly, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome.

The breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that made every morning a treat. The quality and selection were beyond our expectations.

What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Even after our checkout, the hotel graciously allowed us to continue using their beautiful pool until 4 PM – a rare and thoughtful gesture that made our last day just as enjoyable as the first.

I would not recommend this hotel, I’ve stayed at many five star hotels and this is 100% not a five star hotel, maybe it was 15 years ago, but not today.

To start off I’d like to say all the staff are lovely and great.

1) First night we checked in, me and my wife got a room with two double beds pushed together. We couldn’t sleep all night as the centre of the beds kept dipping and splitting. Additionally, I hurt myself on the headboard as it dips in the middle. The duvet was also too small.

2) The second the day, reception finally moved me into the right room. This time the A/C doesn’t work. Again with no sleep or rest, we had to deal with it for another 24 hours until they finally moved us again. They said the AC system is old and on some of the floors not good. Not an issue you should face in a five star hotel.

3) 3rd day, we moved into a room with working AC and correct bed. This time there is no shower, just a bath. It did had a shower head but it was broken. After telling reception they suggested they move us again. But this time we had no sleep, wasted 30% of our holiday and tired from the nonsense. So we decided to accept that there is no fully working shower and deal with it.

4) Out of the 10 days, our room was only cleaned twice. Even after multiple complaints, house keeping don’t the clean rooms. The two times they did clean the room, we were left with dirty towels and missing towels. They had changed the beds with dirty bedding with stains on the duvet cover. N

The rooms are spacious and quite nice. Interior of the hotel is a bit tired. For example the sauna and swimming pool areas are dark and dated. Location is central. If you’re driving, it’s a little tricky to get to it but once you’ve gotten a hang of it, it’s fine. Valet parking is fine; the area is crowded and a bit loud but that’s the downside of being in the heart of the city. Staff was a mixed bag - some were friendly and helpful and others rude and self-serving. Overall good experience. 4 stars.

Disappointing Stay at a Usually Reliable Hotel

We've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times, but our latest experience was a letdown. From the moment we checked in, we encountered a front desk representative who seemed unfriendly and rushed us through the process.

Unfortunately, the issues continued in our room. The furniture was outdated, the bathroom floor sealer was dirty and blackened, and the room temperature was unbearable due to a non-functional thermostat. We reported the temperature issue, but sadly, it wasn't resolved during our stay.

Given our previous positive experiences, we were surprised by the decline in service and amenities. We hope the hotel will take our feedback seriously and make necessary improvements.

I will say this hotel is so terrible for a trip to Turkey. The staff here is so rude and not accommodating, i don’t know if it’s because of the language barrier but they do not clearly tell you any information you should know or that would help during your stay. They never informed us that they can help us get a taxi while we had several bad experiences using the app Bitaksi. The iron in the rooms burned our shirts, the breakfast they offer is very mediocre, and when you try to inform them of any wrong doing or mishaps they will try to brush it off and talk to you like you don’t know anything. I repeat do not stay at this hotel, there’s a very nice hotel down the street Occidental that really seems to know how to treat their guest as we did visit for a Turkish Hämam as the elite prices were far too expensive for thirty minutes only. Save your time and money with these people.
