Good hotel with very friendly staff, conveniently located near Taksim square and near Havabus to get to the airport. Clean rooms, decent breakfast buffet. Highly recommend for someone who is out and about all day and looking for a well located and clean hotel.

Good overnight hotel for travelers

This was a good, lower cost hotel for a short overnight before catching the Havaist bus to the airport for an early morning flight. It's right around the corner from the bus stop at Taksim, and there were also plenty of taxis available if you needed one. It was clean and comfortable, and the price was right. Check-in was easy and check out, even at 2:30am, was easy, too.

This hotel location is everything! It is 5 minutes walk from the havaist bus which brings us to/from the airport. And it’s less than 10 minutes walk to Taksim Square where all the fun is! Hotel staff is friendly. Variety of breakfast selection is provided and restaurant is very well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was not in good conditions, beds were not good and not comfortable no water provided in the room and when i asked the receptionist he told me they only providing water in the first day of the stay
The internet was very very weak
The toilet seat is touched with the wall and was not comfortable

Reception staff was nice. The only service is hot service served when asked.
The room was not clean, it was dusty and the floor is sticky. It hasn’t been cleaned for 5 days, just arranging the beds. Same sheets for 5 days. The suite room has one king bed and a sofa bed which is not convenient when we did the reservation : 1 king size bed and 2 single beds.
The pillows were very old and not puffy. No water to drink, no tissue, no sanitary, just toilet paper.
The geographical place is not away from taqsim square.
I don’t recommend this hotel.

The location is great, close to buses, shopping center, very safe and secure area. The staff very helpful, polite, friendly, they walked with me to my room and connected my devices to the WiFi. Room service is amazing as well, love the food, price, loved the breakfast, never had such a wonderful breakfast at any hotel before. Friendly staff over all in Feronya Hotel. I would stay with them next time.

The beds were very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on, but the location was great, close to the main taksim square. Service was pretty good also. Breakfast had a good amount of options too. However if you're travelling with family bare in mind that you may not recieve individual or double beds for all the visitors, and instead be given a sofa bed.

The location is great, near Taksim and the airport buses if you wanna use one for 18TL only. My room got the wall view ... lol. Breakfast closes 10 minutes before 10am, and the turn off the lights at 10am, strange for a four star hotel!!!! Most interesting, towels have sensors. This four star hotel believe that you are going to steal their towels, interesting!!! At the check-out, I had to wait for them to go and check the mini bar to confirm that I took nothing from it, very very interesting for a four star hotel.
The lobby turns off the lights after 1am, so you better go to your room before then. This hotel acts if their customers are going to steal and that the customers are not trust worthy. These are not the behaviors of a four star hotel.

It was good the only thing I booked double bed but when I arrived they said there is no double bedroom left in a hotel so they put me on twin bedroom and was small but next day they moved me to double bed and bigger room with better condition.
But overall was good hotel. Helpful manager and staffs. The bed was comfortable. Good value for the money.
The WiFi signal was not very good and there was no a lot of TV charnels to choose from with not very good tv reception. Also the bathroom was a bit small.

Staff were helpful, and the location was excellent being a walking distance from Taksim square and right next to the airport bus stop. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, tend to be small, and lack a water kettle, which is not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel, but we can't complaint since we got a very good deal. We would definitely come back!

The hotel was alright. We loved the lobby because it was nicely upgrated, the breakfast was great regardless of the fact that they did not freshly brew coffee, and thd staff were extremely kind & helpful!
The biggest issue with this hotel was the rooms. All the rooms seriously need to be upgraded. Roomd were dark and somewhat dusty. The refrigrator definitly did not work and the beds were very uncomfortable.
I wouldn't think of this hotel as a 4-star based on US standards. It was more like a 2 or 3-star hotel.
I would say that the hotel was woeth what you pay since it is in mlre touristy and expensive area; however, next time i would definurly look into better hotels that are slightly more expensive.

This is the second time i stay at this hotel, and i recommend staying there for the ease of transportation, closeness to taksim square and Havatas Airport Shuttle Bus.
MURAT at the reception desk was super helpful and always there to help us and make our stay the best.

The event that was hosting my travel changed the accommodation, so on the evening of my arrival I went to the hotel to cancel my reservation. I have never been refunded. Expedia has also tried to get a refund for me without success.

Not a very nice hotel, no good service and staff

I stayed over for five days and wished I had a chance to change the hotel. The hotel itself is close to shopping area but not very classy. The rooms are small and I have given a room with out any view, a tall back-wall of the other building blocked my window. The rooms are not perfectly smoke free, I could smell the smoke everywhere.
The staff don't know English properly and I had a hard time to talk to them both at checking in and out.
The most terrible event that made me rate this hotel harshly, was when a worker opened the door at night with out notifying me before or at least knocking the door. After seeing me awake in my bed, he left without saying anything. I asked the hotel desk an explanation for this, nobody followed up.

Simply, no body knows English and so I could not communicate with them, even for changing the sheets.

About dirty, I found some clotheses in the drawer from previous guest, I guess!
I definitely do not recommend this hotel, nor I will go back to this area even.
Pay a little more and have a safe and comfortable stay somewhere nicer. This is not a 4 or even 3-star hotel.

This a good hotel near Taksim Square. Breakfast was delicious and the waiters were very friendly. The staff were very friendly and can coordinate taxis for you at very convenient prices. Although the rooms were small and carpets need to be replaced, these are small issues considering the location and overall cleanliness of the hotel. I certainly recommend this place if you are looking for a place near multiple restaurants, cafes and stores. If you like to walk the Palace of Dolmabahce is only at 25 min. At Taskim you can take buses and excursions to Old Istanbul historic places as well.

Great location...rooms need updating

We stayed for six nights. The hotel is conveniently located in the Taksim area--central to most shopping and night club areas in Istanbul. The WiFi was pretty bad though so do not expect to make calls or be able to Skype while in the room. The breakfast was actually pretty good! We also stayed in another nearby hotel later on in our trip and were longing for the breakfast at Feronya the whole time. The front desk was very helpful. Be aware that there are not irons available in the rooms; you have to get access to a \"tailor room\" where you can iron your clothes. The rooms do have air conditioning but it was not very cold. Regardless of where you stay in Istanbul, learn some basic Turkish phrases, because most places, even in restaurants, do not speak English. Feronya does have many English speaking staff though. Last bote: laundry is very expensive!! The hotel does not offer laundry service, but referred us to a launderer around the corner...we paid 150 Turkish Lira (about $50) to wash a laundry bag full of clothes....ouch!!

The hotel is in Taksim down the end of a number of restaurant streets. Its rooms are fine and not too small, beds are hard. Amenities are on the basic side, however the breakfast is very good surprisingly.

Great hotel. Stuff was friendly, our room was clean. Hotel is located near the havatas shuttle bus stop, so no need to take a taxi. Though, it took us 3 hours to get to the airport, the one that's located on the asian part of the city on rush hour, so be careful managing your time. Also, subway station is only couple of blocks away. Breakfast was great and different every day. it was super quiet in the room, so we slept like babies. The only flaw is that there was no a view from the window in the room since there is a building right in front. Overall, we'll stay in this hotel again.

Good location and service

While Taksim is admittedly not the best place to stay in Istanbul Rita now due to a major construction project, it is still a centralised and important place to stay as a visitor and this hotel meets all the right standards without being overpriced. It is comfortable for both the business traveller or tourist.

Good Location, Needs some Attention

The Feronya has a great location, and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, our room developed an odor on the second day, and the air conditioning was very weak and barely cooled the room. The front desk shrugged when told of this. The breakfast is wonderful, the food and teh roofop location excellenet. The restaurant was, however, closed for dinner, which was available only in the lobby bar.

Gibt bessere Alternativen in Istanbul

Hatten ein Vierbettzimmer gebucht, online hieß es, das Zimmer sei ca. 25m2 groß. Dort angekommen wurde uns ein Vierbettzimmer auch gegeben, jedoch war dies keine 15 m2 groß, man konnte sich hierin kaum bewegen. Auch war der Zustand des Zimmers so lala, die Klimaanlage funktionierte bei über 30°C Außentemperatur nicht und das Zimmer war extrem feucht. Im Bad zeigte sich schwarzer Schimmel an der Decke. Das Frühstück ging bis 10 Uhr, wurde aber schon nach 09:15 Uhr nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

Die Reservierung über Expedia wurde nicht gefunden. Expedia hat auch nicht besonders viel weitergeholfen. Einrichtung alt, nicht sauber, Hotelgäste sehr speziell und laut. Frühstück sehr mau. Einzig gute ist die Lage und das Personal war immer sehr nett und bemüht.
