I would give 3 star specially bcz of breakfast. Breakfast was really not good n was limited . No fruit no juice only some times the made omlet the rest of the breakfast was cold.

After not realising the date had automatically changed on Expedia when I booked the hotel. I immediately contacted Expedia to attempt to change the date without paying extra. They and I attempted to contact the hotel multiple times to get this accepted, but coincidentally every time they said the manager was going to be in to accept this request...he never was. I ended up losing my money due to there failure to contact back and decided to stay at another hotel where I would feel more valued as a customer.

Disappointing Stay

The hotel surroundings are too crowded. I could not sleep till 3am due to the noises.
The announced price in the hotel is less by %35 than what’s on Hotels.com !!

Una buena opcion para un viaje corto.

El Hotel Golden Park tiene habitaciones no muy grandes, pero las camas son razonablemente confortables y el lugar es limpio. Sobre todo, su ubicacion es excelente en la ciudad, a dos minutos del Taskim Square, rodeado de restaurantes, a 5 minutos del servicio de autobus directo para el Aeropuerto de Estambul, etc. Para un viaje de negocios, o incluso para un viaje de pareja, sin duda que lo recomiendo. El precio es accesible, el personal amable, y el sector muy seguro. Si no eres muy exigente y te querés ahorrar problemas logisticos, esta es una muy buena opcion.

I had bad experience as everything is money in that hotel. I asked them to bring the breakfast to my room because I had a surgery and cannot step to the restaurant down stairs, they asked me for 10 € to bring the breakfast to the room. The staff has no courtesy while talking to guests.

Bad service and quality

This hotel was not a good experience at all. Before you book it, make sure to know to confirm all the hotel amenities that are written here with the hotel, because the hotel was dishonest in many things.
When we booked the room, we saw that the breakfast is included, and you could see that at the hotel page in expedia that breakfast is included with economy and standard room, also you could see it in the hotel amenities( free breakfast). Upon check in, the hotel night staff said that breakfast is not included and we need to charge 10 euro per person !!! we showed him the reservation , he said he does not care about what is written. I complained to expedia, they called the staff and he said ooh sure the breastfed is included, then we went downstair again to check with the staff and he said ( no it is not included)!!! Expedia had recorded that call where the staff said that there will be a free breakfast for us, and based on it they compensated me ( Thanks for expedia because they were responsible in managing this issue)......however, if I need to say one thing about the hotel, I would say that the staffs are not honest at all with their customers !!.... Apart from this issue, we were given a room with no view at all, we could see another wall from the window, the sheets were dirty upon check in, we asked the staff to replace them.....the hotel is very overpriced for such service........the only good thing is the location!! For sure I will not consider this hotel again.....

Stayed for 6 nights , the staff at the reception were not friendly, lots of noises in the room literally u can hear the next door room talking so clearly and their tv as it's in my room . Rooms are not clean they didn't change the sheets for the 6 nights I stayed there. Pillows are very poor quality only 2 very thin pillows u have to put one on top of them to be able to sleep .

LOCATION ONLY..

I will start with good things:
location is the best thing in this hotel. Compared to other hotels nearby, the price is reasonable. Breakfast is OK.

Now bad things:
We got 2 twin-beds room, beds were just like massage beds, with only a very small and cheap pillo for each bed. The tv is very small, similar to a 17\" laptop monitor. To save electricity, the hotel uses remote sensor and lights turn on when someone walk on the hall, so once we reach our floor using elevator, the hall is all dark until we reach our room which is around 10 steps away from the elevator, I consider this insecure walking on the darkness with ALL lights off!!!
The front desk is something else, there was a guy who wasnt friendly, we asked for an airport shuttle, he said its 100 Lira (expedia stated that the hotel charged only 93 Lira), but soon he changed his mind and said no it costs 120 Lira! we asked about what was mentioned on expedia website and he replied that this cost is for the yellow taxi!! we wanted to pay using credit card for the shuttle, but he confirmed that the hotel doesnt accept payment through credit cards (which is weird) and we need to pay CASH! we did pay, he got the money without giving us a reciept or any proof of payment!
Also, there was no \"do not disturb card\", housekeeper just knocks the door and gets in, that happened to us 3 times during our 4 days stay! PRIVACY PLEASE!!!

Finally, I wouldnt stay again in this hotel nor recommend it to anyone who needs a decent place.

2 star hotel

Breakfast is a joke, waiters handle food with their bear hands (no gloves). Bed linen not changed during our stay, the carpet was not vacuumed, the closet was full of dust.

Window facing the wall of nextdoor building. Hallway lights equipped with bad motion detection, gave my 4 year old a scare.

I would say this hotel is a 2 star hotel.

Not as Bad as Others Say

Golden Park is a perfectly fine hotel--4 star, maybe not--but a solid 3+. I was concerned after reading some very negative reviews about it and was surprised to find a pleasant front desk staff-comfortable room--nice breakfast buffet and no problem with my bill. It is true that the A/C has issues so avoid this hotel in very hot months. My expectations were low and I made no real demands on the staff--but I would stay there again. The location cannot be beat and the hotel is attractive and clean.

My experience at Golden Park Hotel was ok and I have to be fair telling that the negatives comments of previous reviews were not refleced during my stay. I would agree though, that the staff is not particularly friendly, but they are not unfriendly either. I wasn't looking for a service beyond usual, so I didn't interact with them so much to tell more. The room (stayed at a single room in a double size bed) was big enough and confortable. The buffet breakfast is fine and served til 10 AM. The location is about one or two blocks away from taksim square, to me it was just perfect: good transportation (metro, bus, taxi and the funicular which takes you to the tram connection; also there is a Havas bus connecting to and from the airport only one block away from the hotel), and a large range of restaurantes and bars nearby. It turns a bit noisy, but I would say that's the normal deal if you want to stay in Taksim. The hotel also provided me with free internet WI-FI connection, which worked out fine (just a little bit unstable sometimes). The air condition worked fine and it's really a need in summer. In summary, I had a quite ok stay in this hotel and I would recommend it to other travelers looking for acomodation in Taksim with a fine room and breakfast.
