It was livable - the rooms look nothing like the pictures. The walls are dirty, they allow smoking in the rooms which was causing us all sorts of discomfort, linens, towels and pillows were dirty and smelled like sweat, first night the power went out 4 times.
However, after we complained things got a little bit better and we got housekeeping everyday, which provided as clean towels and comforters as possible. Overall I’m disappointed with the misleading pictures and the smoking, but the location was great and the staff were nice to us.

These rooms do not look like the pictures in real life. All the sheets are very dirty, not washed with lots of body hair and the bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned in a while. Overal very bad experience and it is not recommended at all. We had to change the hotel after 2 nights of our vacation and it has been very frustrating.

The room is spacious and reasonably priced. It has a lot of counter space. The room however is showing signs of deterioration and bad maintenance especially in bathroom. Bidet is broken and not functioning properly. Water in shower pooling away from drain making it a risk for causing slipping and falling. There is an unusual smell coming out of sink drainage.

Front Lobby smoke smell:
Front desk personal was smoking outside the door before I stepped in and whole lobby had smoking smell inside. I did complain to the front desk personal as soon I stepped in.

Elevator was dirty.

Carpet in the hallways was dirty.

Bathroom floor was not clean and shower floor had disgusting marks on the floor. This lead me to leave this hotel.

I stayed in the room for 5 minutes and then left the hotel and went on to search for a good hotel on the foot. I spent 3 hours to find a good place because everything else was completely booked. I had very bad experience with INNTEL HOTEL and had to walk around the whole area to find one good hotel for almost 3 hours. I was totally exhausted by the time I found a good hotel but was happy that finally I found something which was better and up to my expectation. I ended up paying $250/night (this was price was for walk in customers and hotel was totally booked but they did have one corner room available) at the The Marmara Taksim (very nice and clean hotel).

Please take INNTEL HOTEL off of your list. This hotel is nowhere close to any other hotels I stayed during my trip. I’ll not recommend this hotel to other travelers.

I moved out right away after stepping in this hotel. This hotel was very hard to find out too. No one in the area new this hotel and google map direction was not leading to this hotel. Name of the hotel was not clearly visible. I had to spend long time to find this hotel.

The property was nice and clean. End review
Because i used my card to book tjis hotel for my friends didn't like that they made 2 attempts on my credit card even though i specifically chose for them to pay at the property. The first attempt was on the day i booked their stay and the second was the day of arrival ( i informed them that they'll be late to arrive) they tried to withdraw the total amount before they arrived. Thanks God they failed because i didn't transfer enough funds to my card.
Both times i reached out to the property and got no response. That was extremely unprofessional and wrong

Hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Istiklal street which was the focus of our trip.
Room service was on point.

Bad hotel, I highly don't recommend it.

When I arrived for the check in. They told me the room is not available and they will transfer me to different hotel. Even though I've already booked and paid for the hotel online.

They moved me to very bad hotel with no services and the toilet is with the bedroom with cheap separator in which you can smell everything from the bathroom.

I don't recommend you to book with this hotel. Pay more for different one and have better accommodation. The exact story happened to my friend as well.

We chose this hotel because of the price and you get what you pay.
The room not modern and with cheap furnetire, the room size is ok and the breakfast is too basic
The bathroom is small and if you are tall or fat you will not like it
The location is good, close to taksim sequare and metro station

Staff very friendly and accommodating, but let down by a shabby, run down musty smelling outdated hotel that has been incorrectly categorised as a 4 star hotel. My advice is to book elsewhere and direct with the hotel, as you will get a better deal minus the agency fees. We ended up eating breakfast across the road at the Parma hotel, which was so much cleaner and food exceptional (didn't fancy dry proceeded chips at the inntel for breakfast). Much to my dismay, discovered that the Parma hotel was almost identical in price to inntel! The inntel is not a 4 star hotel, much cleaner hotels situated in Taksim for similar prices.

Close to Taksim, but not the best

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff are helpful and polite. The rooms were cleaned daily, but they were not especially, mostly on the first day. Also, the rooms were non-smoking, but the staff smoke on the stairs, and the smell comes in to the room through the air vents at all times.

The rooms were overall comfortable and clean but its size was small , the reception not helpful at all , the housekeeping removed cards from rooms in ordered to save electricity while we were out ( even though we asked them not to because we had insulin shots in the mini freezer that almost got ruined ).
dinning hall was small with the same meals requiring for our 8 days stay .

The staff working on the night shift were really rude and was not friendly or willing to help. They promised to give us a child bed the next day of our stay (which they never), so 3 people had to sleep in a double bed for 2 two days. They offered me another room but double the amount of what I paid for the previous room, so I had to leave my family and stay in another hotel. However, the staff working in the morning were polite and helpful. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to Taksim square and the rooms are clean.

Worst hotel ever booked on Expedia

Arrived at the hotel, check in was quick, nice staff. Looked around, no lobby at all, went up to the room, wow, disappointed with everything, cleanliness, bathroom, bed, room view.
Who rated this hotel 4 stars??? and how come the rating is excellent. I booked 3 rooms for myself and my family, we were all disappointed. My sister found blood on the towels and went crazy. We complained to the reception, he was very cool and apologized and nothing else was done as if he was saying take it or leave it.
When we asked for better rooms, we were told you get better rooms on higher floors if you book directly through us but not through Expedia. We were told as well by the staff that the hotel is 0 stars, as it's a boutique hotel, in Expedia it says 4 stars. The pictures of the hotel on the website is nothing like the real ones. I guess you should investigate. Breakfast was terrible, limited and for 8 days it never changed same variety.

I stayed at Inntel with my parents; we stayed in two double rooms. The rooms are spacious, very clean, modern and renovated. The colors are vibrant and happy! The lobby is somewhat small, but that's fine - it's perfect for waiting for your travel buddies and chatting with the front desk employees for a while. Breakfast is good: there are pastries, cheeses, hot variety, etc. Enough to keep you full until the afternoon :)
The employees, namely Bassel, are very helpful and knowledgeable and made this boutique hotel feel like home! They helped us with transfers (especially in the rainy weather) and gave us some advice. Most importantly, they always greeted us with a smile!

Nice close to Taksim Square.

The Hotel was Fantastic apart from AirCondition theyou Control it from down Stairs so we were always opening the windows in Order to get fresh Air .

The problem in doing that is outside is so Noisy so we' were on bed and off I called them few times and explain to them that the room is hot and they put the air conditioning back on but then they it off again .

All members of stuff were helpful Especially Muhammad I would stay again in that Hotel if I had a good deal.

Stayed twice in a month and had two very different experience

Brand new hotel in so-so neighborhood but close to Taksim Sq. with its many restaurants, shops and transportation.
Airport pickup is 30€ each way. Driver was on time and I recommend the service. Check-in was fast both times. Front desk was nice and prompt.
There are 2 tiny elevators and on both stays only one worked. This was inconvenient. Room and bed were comfortable, AC was quiet. Plenty of outlets. Shower had good pressure and amenities ok, although they varied on both stays. I had to ask for the free water and the bathroom amenities were very modest the 2nd time. Breakfast was different each day, good service and nice variety of cold and hot options.
On my 1st stay I asked for an “inside” room. The view was a residential building behind the hotel, but There wasn't excessive noise or lack of privacy.
2nd time, 2 weeks later my room was front facing. The shower configuration was wrong and shower head placement uncomfortable.
On my 2nd stay, TV never worked.
In both rooms the in-room safe is located on a very low shelf.
Overall, my 1st stay was much better.
I think the hotel lacks service standards and luck Is the only the factor in how good or bad a stay will be...(even the dining room layout and breakfast options changed completely from one stay to the other).
Based on this I would still recommend this hotel but with caution.
