Poor quality property, staff are truly unhelpful including the managers. The room we took was a king volcano mountain view room, the room had no in room slippers not even one. We had to make a request. The room did not have a single towel in the bathroom. We made a request and it took multiple calls and 45mins before the towels were delivered. The place really needs some attention to detail as I wasn’t convinced it was ready for the guest to occupy the room and no one wanted to take responsibility or apologise for their poor service

Super relaxing spot with many pools, the two-person loungers in the main hot pool was a nice touch. Place was clean, a great bed and staff all very helpful. Breakfast included as well, what’s not to like?

This is a beautiful hotel! The room was perfect-the bed so comfortable. I had such good sleeps. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pools and jacuzzi were incredible, we especially enjoyed relaxing in the spa-like environment. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever been to-so much selection and everything tasted so good!

Super happy with our stay here. The room was maybe the cleanest I’ve seen in CR, with a great view of the pools and volcano. Staff went above and beyond at every interaction, especially Deyber at the front desk. Cancelled some of our excursions to relax more at the Thermal spa. Wish the steam room had been actually steaming, as it was more so just a warm room. Everything else was just fantastic, including poolside meals and the Lava Restaurant.

We had a wonderful week at the Royal Corin. Even though we arrived at 3:30am in the morning, we were greeted by a friendly hostess with fresh juice and hand towels and oriented to the hotel. We found it to be beautifully appointed and maintained, clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The thermal pools were fantastic. We spent hours there each day. (Note that they are emptied, cleaned and refilled each night.) There is active care and maintenance happening daily. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful- going out of their way to be sure we had what we needed. The breakfast buffet was varied, ample and delicious. We had so many options and ate like kings! The onsite restaurants and menus were also of very good quality. We did not plan much in advance but found it very easy to find local excursions and transportation (Uber is easy and affordable) within 30 min of the hotel. We loved everything about our trip to Costa Rica and hope to return. Pura vida!

The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is very courteous and the premises are gorgeous. It’s nice to have a volcanic water pool even though in my opinion it should not be so hot. Both my girlfriend and I got a little dizzy after a while. I do recommend staying there though. The breakfast is fantastic! Location as well.

The only negative is that one of the restaurants was not available after 6:00 p.m. (but you could order of the menu at the remaining restaurant in the evening). Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of fresh fruit and other breakfast dishes.

The star was amazing and very kind and anything you needed you got right away! My Spanish was poor and I apologize and even then it didn't matter. There was one instance I came back from the hot spring and needed a towel, I didn't even say anything and someone I believe Dorian I think his name was came out of nowhere to give me a towel. This report is amazing! Breakfast was included every morning and it was a delicious HUGS buffet with a variety of different things to choose from. The other dining options on the property had amazing food as well. The best part of the stay was the staff! Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. We were easily able to schedule a variety of different tours in the area through the hotel. All around an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff was excellent, very hospitable. Stacy,Justin, David and Jaqueline are who I spoke with usually and they were all terrific! Only downside was my standard for cleanliness. The room was decent but not all the way clean and there was a smell in the shower and near toilets but I guess that’s how it is and the plumbing over there. But also there were water marks and hair in the shower wall, the glass cups weren’t clean they were dusty with stains on them I was pretty disappointed when I first arrived but overall I enjoyed my stay due to the staff and the warm inviting ambiance they have provided. I would recommend the hotel to people I know but the cleanliness would have to be better. If it’s worth anything the housekeepers were lovely as well it was just the standard for myself and the upkeep of the place

Room was large and had a lot of noise through the door and the sound of chairs scraping in other rooms came through the walls and ceiling at all hours, particularly in the day when others were moving around. The pools were heated through a thermal spring which was a novelty but overall felt very shabby - tiles had fallen off areas which left sharp corners and a poor look, the concrete floor had worn away in areas which made the floor very uncomfortable under bare feet. Overall not what I would expect for the money.

This place was incredible! The resort itself is stunning! The thermal hot springs were relaxing and super clean. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony overlooking the main pool and a straight shot view of the volcano were out of this world. But the real stars of the show are the staff. I’ve traveled all over the world and the amount of attention the staff gave us was above and beyond. From the doorman, to the incredible front desk staff. The pool bar tenders, breakfast and dinner servers. I cannot rave about them enough. It was my wife’s birthday and they surprised her with multiple birthday celebrations unexpectedly. From decor in the room, to birthday cupcakes at breakfast, to birthday decor at dinner. The staff were just amazing! We reserved some of the best massages and body wraps ever. There aren't enough kind things that I can say about The Royal Corning. Every person on staff was beyond kind and accommodating.
The property is incredibly beautiful to top it off.

The moment we entered the lot the staff was very attentive and helpful! They explain everything to us and how to get around the resort! They went the extra mile to set up a cute birthday set up for my boyfriend on such a short noticed I gave them. They did everything great! Definitely recommend this place because a lot of excursions pick you up from here. I loved the hotsprings and they are open till 10pm and it’s just a nice relaxing area where you can still see the volcano.
