Loved this hotel. Close to Oxford Street so it’s easy to immerse into the nightlife or find something to eat nearby. I was super impressed with the cleanliness and customer service was top tier. The hotel takes you away from Accra without going anywhere. It’s such a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle from the city.

Had a mix up with receiving enough towels and it took a bit of back and forth for us to finally have one in the late hours of the night but otherwise it’s a hotel we will definitely do again

I absolutely loved my stay here. The STAFF!!! The stuff was AMAZING! Very kind, courteous, accommodating, friendly and more. The property is amazing as well. Very well maintained. The bar/restaurant really is 24/7 with the complete menu available 24/7. I loved it here so much that when my flight got cancelled and was offered and shuttled to another hotel for two days, I caught my own ride back here to stay until I left again. Then I booked my next trip back before I left.

This hotel is quite attractive--between crafts/art on display and much greenery in outdoor areas. Food and drinks were good, albeit pricey. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing even if one doesn't swim. The front desk and reception staff did their basic job but were not helpful or friendly.

Overall great experience! Morning breakfast and nightly room service was a plus! Didn’t really care for the standard rooms as each smelled like mildew and had a few mosquitos flying around. Best way to go is to get the Executive suites. Those were very cozy and comfortable! Great hotel and stay for our first trip to Ghana!

Overall my experience was great. I was there with my same sex partner and felt welcomed, which was a concern when going to a country where it is illegal. The facilities were quite nice, though there were some small things which were a bit off like the hook in the bathroom kept falling off. The restaurant was also overpriced and underwhelming, especially when there are such good restaurants around. The front desk staff were wonderful at offering recommendations for food though. Would definitely stay again.

The accommodation itself, dining, and ambience are all great but I was disappointed in the responsiveness of the reception staff, who did not seem very keen to help and not much friendly either. A request for room cleaning was ignored despite assurances that it will be done. Hence, I had to chase for toiletries in the evening of my last say and make do with an unserviced room.

A lovely oasis in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed three times as we really liked it. The room on the first stay was near the pool and best avoided as it was noisy. Other rooms were quieter and great. Sone good local restaurants and bars within easy walking distance too. Definitely recommend

A great discovery hidden in Osu

We had an excellent experience at La Villa Boutique hotel. We usually always stay at the same hotel in Accra (in Airport Residential) but this time, as we had several appointments around Osu, we decided to give a try to La Villa Boutique Hotel.

Right from our arrival, we were really impressed by the surroundings, and how peacefull the hotel is: a nice green garden, a small pool and a nice terrace to sit for a cool drink, and a nice gym for hubby to complete his daily training !

And what a great way to start a day than with such a nice breakfast, with a great staff !

We will definitely be back if any business brings us back in that part of Accra.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Villa Hotel in Accra, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The staff, especially John, provided excellent service throughout my stay. John's friendliness, especially when he picked me up from the airport and was always available to assist with any questions I had, made me feel welcomed and at home.

The front desk staff was equally impressive, always courteous and making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Their attentiveness and professionalism set the tone for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel's beautiful pool and the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant were also highlights of my stay. I highly recommend La Villa Hotel and look forward to returning for my next visit to Accra.

This is a hidden gem nestled in the tourist hub in the city. The melding of the plants with the infrastructure and the lighting around the pool makes for a very zen like and seductive ambiance. The staff from the sweeper Priscilla, to the midnite barman Michael, Charity at the restaurant are first rate. And of course that welcoming smile at reception that says “Akwaaba” is cherry on the cake. It’s infectuously good tonic for the soul. Medasse pa.

First when we arrived room was overpowered with insectides. Choked us till we had to leave the room. They should of let it air out.I assume to control all the mosquitoes in room and coming from near the pool which there are certain plants and bamboo which tend to breed them more from my personal experience. Bathroom is dated and needs renovations with no towels or washclothes ( bring your own ). Its family owned so i guess they are trying their best idk..2ndly the worse was the restaurant. Stay AWAY!!! The service there was horrible. Waitress seemed disinterested n didnot attend to us efficiently. We sat 3 hours of honeymoon waiting on just rice and tilipia and some samoas and cheese sticks she kept messing up on. She messed up our order 3 times and the chef was the only highlight. He was suppose to be cooking and had to come and clarify our order and even gave us a complimentary set of appetizers trying to do her job saying they have had issues with her. Even after he tried to come out to assist she was tude n wrong order and we asked 4 her supervisor.after We asked for the bill to clarify all the taxes like 200 cedi worth of taxes.Mr.J

comes and says two words \" its government \" and requests cash. We paid n lft. We told front desk n ckd out early..our 3 day turned to 1.Sup at front desk was apologetic as my husband was so upset and rebooked elsewhere she claim \"they would make it right\" and to contact her whatsapp. When i do she offers a $30 off the NextStay. I would only suggest that the hotel start a recycling service, but Ghana might not have an industry for recycling consumable plastics.

Shower: Open shower. Water spilled on floor when showing. Dangerous of falling onto wet floor. Unleavened floor because of water seepage.

Security: Wooden door (plywood) appears to be warped. You can see outside from the lower door due to multiple cracks. Key and keypad was difficult to enter and exit. No other locking devices available for additional security.

Comfort: A/C in bedroom only discharges warm air. 16 degrees C, warm air. Difficult to sleep.

This was my 1st time staying at this property. I love the aesthetic - leafy, African art, use of baskets and other natural materials. Makes the place feel like an oasis in the city. I was less pleased with the condition of my room. Everything was in working order but a little rundown. Also the shower in my room was not cleaned well - soap scum on wall tiles and stain on floor tiles.

A beautiful property with nice rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately, I found it quite noisy. Music from the pool area went until around 11 pm, and even with ear plugs in, I could still hear it. The hotel also seems to be right under an airplane route - the planes were loud and regular. All in all, probably the best of several hotels I stayed at in Ghana, and I probably would have loved it if I hadn't been traveling for business, but the noise was annoying when I had to wake up early to work.

One of the few places stayed in with constant hot water and good wifi. Close to Oxford street - which is full of bars stalls and restaurants. This unique hotel is like a hidden jungle sanctuary inside the city. It's beautifully decorated throughout, the rooms are clean and updated (though our mattress was quite hard) and the staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is generous and delicious with everything from exotic fruits to an omelet bar. The pool is gorgeous and perfect for those Instagram pics! Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place to stay in Accra

Stayed at La Villa Boutique for 8 nights in November. The hotel is superbly located in downtown Accra close to bars, restaurants and shopping.
The room was a bit basic, but perfectly adequate and comfortable.
Breakfast was good and we ate evening and lunch meals at the hotel several times, These meals were very good and flavoursome.
However, its was the staff that makes the hotel superb. From the reception staff's warm and friendly advice, to the restaurant staff agreeing to our extras for our meal to cleaners and house staff keeping the room clean and tidy. Everything done by the hotel staff was done with grace and kindness.
We really really enjoyed our time at the hotel and felt at home.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, if you want to truly get to know Accra.

We stayed in the Executive Room and it is spacious and has a private patio. We cannot recommend that room type enough. The property is conveniently located in Osu with access to restaurants (e.g. Baku!) and bars (e.g. The Republic; Honeysuckle). We walked a lot but it is really easy to order Uber from the hotel. The food was decent in the restaurant and the breakfast is nice.
