Every night, I was checked when I came back to the hotel by security, yet my colleagues were not. It felt very discriminatory and I won't be returning.

Rooms were run down. The bathtub stopper did not work. The housekeeper did not clean the room fully. No food except breakfast. Feels much worse than last year when I stayed here.

The hotel has become run down. The floors in my room had gotten wet and buckled, making it dangerous in bare feet. The staff offered to change the room, but it would have been for one with two separate beds. There is no room service (only breakfast). One of the major concerns was that anyone \"brown\" - Arab or Turkish appearing - were stopped and registered even though they were registered guests, while anyone European looking was let in without question. This felt very discriminatory.

Free valet parking a big bonus in Istanbul. There are 3 underground floors for dining and conferences. The hotel is much bigger than it looks. Lifts. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Fantastic room. If you take a bath you need to get the flow from the tap correct to avoid wetting the floor.

The hotel room we had booked was \"upgraded to a better room\", likely because the sea view ones were booked. This was fine, however the breakfast is less optimal than expected most items were hard to combine as someone coming from west Europe, this is preference and also fine. The big problem arised when the room we wete in flooded due to poor bath insulation. We filled the bath with a regular amount and one person got in and it all came out from underneath wetting the bathroom and the wooden floors and our clothes. From the looks of the floor it was not the first time either, this should never happen. A small detail a lot of the outlets did not work. Lastly all the spa and sauna facilities were out of commision which was only mentioned after asking and was a shame.

We checked in at 10pm and got a free upgrade to 500sf junior suites, very roomy. the hotel location is convenient as expected. bed sheets are clean. We should give it 5 star, right? BUT the hotel is outdated, toilet cannot stop leaking, window cannot close completely, there is no shampoo and bottle water in room (they gave the supply after called them). Street noise is after midnight, breakfast is soso.

We had 3 rooms and stayed 4 nights Staff and front desk were great. Very helpful and professional. Hotel itself was very and needs some upgrade. It was clean but Bathtub doesnt drain properly and working well. 2 of our rooms had problem but hotel was full we couldnt change the room. Hair dryer was broken. smelled cigaret in our room the whole time.day and night.

The staff were extremely helpful. They were not pushy about cleaning the rooms. Whenever you put the sign out to clean the room, they came in. It was an easy and relaxed check-out. They also had a later check-out time which is very comforting.

This is my fifth time in central palace, one of my favorites hotels in Istanbul. You can find all what makes you confortable there. Nice stuff, amenities and location. Very clean especially these days with COVID 19. You will enjoy your stay for sure.

Due to the effects of corona, the room is never cleaned for three days. At Agoda it's free up to 12 years old, but at hotels.com it cost as much as 30 euros. There are no glass and kettles. However, air conditioning and WiFi are very good. Location is great. There are many other good hotels. I do not recommend it.

The worst place I ever stayed at. The only good thing was the location. It was very dirty, found coke bottle and a plastic bag with something in the fridge. Thr bathroom was dirty, found a ball of hair on the towels.

The only benefit of this property is it’s location. Otherwise the property is definitely not a 4 star it’s more like a 3 star. It’s run down, the mattress is so hard and gives a stiff back. Breakfast is really basic. Not worth the money.

Overall, the hotel was fine. I must have missed something in the hotel description - it's a dry hotel. No booze. None. For that, I won't stay again. For other guests, especially in the changing Taksim area, I would imagine that this could be a selling feature.
The WiFi would only allow me to connect to one device at a time. So I couldn't be working on my laptop and chatting with family on my phone. I found that incredibly frustrating.
