We had a great time at Taxim Suites Residence. The receptionist, Ida, was always so kind and helpful.
The hotel was very warm which was nice with the snow outside.
The location is perfect! You can walk to most places and you’re right in the middle of everything.
The room was cleaned everyday. Whenever we needed anything we’d call and they’d send it up right away.
Highly recommended!

I had an incredible stay at Taxim Suites Residences—truly one of the most pleasant and comfortable experiences I’ve had.

Due to an emergency, I needed an early check-in. I reached out to them in advance and got a quick and reassuring response—they promised to do their best to accommodate my request.

When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Mujdat at the front desk. He was already aware of my situation and let me know that a room was available. He handled the early check-in smoothly and professionally.

I was given a beautiful suite that had everything I needed: a fully equipped kitchen, a comfy couch, a work desk with a chair, and a spacious bedroom. I was exhausted from my flight, and being able to rest right away made a huge difference—I slept so well.

Even before the official check-in time of 2 p.m., the cleaning service passed by, kindly offered to clean the room, and even brought me an extra bottle of water.

Everything about this experience was thoughtful and efficient. I really appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

It’s location is perfect. It’s literally few minutes to Taksim square and Istkal St, trams, metro . Although a small hotel the rooms are big and staff were outstanding. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for an economic place

Location is good however, cleaning, furniture, bathroom are not good. Internet connection is very poor. No internet connection to TV. Overall waste of money. First time I have used Hotel.com and not happy with my hotel selection. No breakfast also.

My bad experience

First I must say the all the workers were very nice and courteous however, my room the Miyoko suite had several bad issues.1st door security lock did not work, only the regular lock worked. 2nd window was broken so it would not close all the way so it was freezing, oh by the way heater don’t work had to ask for portable heater. 3rd it was loud, cars on the street honking all night long and with window broken it was very loud. Lastly and this is a big one. There was a huge leak coming from the room upstairs in the bathroom shower. All of these things I notified the front desk and they would nicely say”we will fix it” but nothing was fixed at all. I wanted to go to another hotel but it was a no refund deal. Hotel.com just called and ask for a refund but to no avail. Nobody wanted to take some responsibility the hotel & hotel.com. I included hotel.com because they are the in between and it’s their business that advertised it. Don’t get this room. Now I must say my friend had the next room over and nothing was wrong with it. No loud sounds and everything worked. My tip for Istanbul is make sure your room is sound proof.

Not only is Taxim Suites within walking distance to Taksim Square, city buses, Havas and restaurants but the employees are an absolute Gem!! Our room was impeccably clean and had a nice view of the park and sea. Shout out to the wonderful,ever so friendly and helpful employees such as Ms.Kader, Ms.Birsen, Mr.Burak and the other gentleman at the front desk and the young woman in housekeeping that I didn’t get their names. Overall, if you want to stay at a clean, safe and most hospitable front desk and housekeeping staff, then you should definitely stay at Taxim Suites. Thank you Ms.Kader,Ms.Birsen, Mr.Burak and all the staff for your wonderful hospitality! If in Istanbul will surely be staying at Taxim Suites!

The stuff is helpful and the location is very convenient to reach tourist attractions, taxi, and metro. It’s a bit noisy around however the isolation is good. When you close the windows you can sleep comfortably. It’s an apart hotel so don’t expect a big lobby or spacious floors but the room was good. It’s just a very touristic area so people can check in every hour even in the middle of the night which can cause noise. Since the floors are not covered with carpet and the floors are narrow, I woke up in the middle of the night two nights is a row due to the noise caused. It’s a good place if you wanna be close to the city center, however, wouldn’t be my first choice if I was looking for a relaxing holiday.

Staff were not really cooperative to support us, given that we had an overnight flight, no place was prepared for us to stay in nor our luggage to be safely kept until the official check-in time at 2 pm.
The property was aware of our time of arrival, yet the taxi we booked through the hotel did not show up on the airport and when I requested a drive to the airport each staff member was giving me a different price, all of which way exceeded the prevailing market prices. I ended up going in a minivan at half of the price provided by the hotel and was an airport authorized taxi.

i love the location and the rooms are quiet and clean. This is my second time staying there. The only thing that went wrong was the leak on the roof - not heavy but just that one of my shoes was right below it, I told them and they wanted to change my room but as it was my last night, I didn't want to move. Other than that inconvenience, overall this is a good hotel and the staff are really friendly.

Smart location and comfortable stay

My stay in Taxim suites was very amaing experience, including the really friendly staff, very good rooms, great view, actually i had a great view on bosfor and the City at the same time, every location was easily reached in few minutes, if i will visit Istanbul again i think i will stay in Taxim Suites also, it makes my stay very comfortable, really the words will not give the place its real value.

We had a few nights stop over in Istanbul after two weeks of traveling in Turkey and wanted a spacious room for three adults close to the airport bus and central to Taksim. The Taxim Suites were just what we were looking for - spacious, had a self-catering option with a small kitchenette, the suite was clean and most comfortable. Despite some reviews making reference to the noise in the suites due to location, we didn't find this a bother with the double glazing. The location was suburb and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would certainly return if in Istanbul again.

The hotel is in a great central location right by Taksim square. 5 minute walk to the metro and other restaurants in the area. The room was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the traffic noise since the room was located right by the street. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel.

We had a perfect stay here. Firstly the location is so convenient, just across the street from Taksim Square and Gezi Park, and about a minute walk from both the Metro and the airport bus station. The staff were very helpful when we checked in and helped take our bags to our room. The suite was large and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable seating area, balcony, bedroom with a desk and a spacious bathroom. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and we couldn't ask for more from them. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Istanbul.

It was a good hotel but not a five stars. I will give it a three to maximum four star. It was very close to taksim square, metro and many restaurants and shops. If anyone wants to stay for more than 2 days book it without breakfast because you will eat the same plate every day. The manager and the staff was very professional and helpful, they made an exception for our breakfast and we could order anything.

I was supposed to stay for a week and ended up extending my stay for another week in Taxim suites.
The room with a kitchenette was very comfortable and clean, big and spacious.
The hotel services and staff were excellent.
The only problem is the noise outside and construction at night

the hotel is clean and nice. Some of the rooms are renew and some are not. The breakfast excellent. !!!!

I remember that I had a problem at the middle of the night with my safe box. And the staff solve the problem in just a few minutes. Very nice !!!!

There is also a self service laundry at the basement.

I stayed in an Avenue Suite. Nice big room. The bed was comfortable but only a double bed. The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming. There is a good cafe on the first floor. Easy walk to Taksim square and walking street with many, many restaurant and cafe choices. Small grocery stores nearby. WiFi worked well. As other reviewers have mentioned the street noise is disturbing.

Big room , great view , great staff, they where calling a taxi for me each time I leave to avoid the liar taxi drivers in front of the hotel, I paid 100$ for a 5$ trip because of adjusted taxi meter . the break fast is good but not a buffet .the left is too small. if the taxi dose not recognize the hotel just ask him to go to point hotel it is just next to it. perfect kitchen every thing is great . don't forget to close the window to avoid the noise :)

Suite hotel, great location near Taxim Square

This is a relatively small somewhat funky place offering nice large suites with kitchenettes ideal for a small family or extended stay. Location is fantastic for easy access to convention center near the Hilton (5-10 min walk) and leads directly into hub of activities, restaurants & metro connections in Taxim Square. Our room (Avenue Suite) had big windows in the living room looking down to the Bosphorous. Rooms were a bit noisy due to traffic outside but this was not a major issue. Showers sub-par due to older shower heads and a bit of mold on the tile grout, tho rooms were quite clean & fresh otherwise. Internet was slow but OK for email (not functional for VPN, marginal for Skype). Staff was small but good (don't expect extensive concierge service, just the basics). Breakfast was a fixed plate, good, but no buffet. Nice bonus was a free use of laundry in building. Overall excellent value, would definitely stay here again.

The location was amazing. The traffic sound is a problem. The room was spacious. The breakfast consisted of tomatoes, cheese, a hard boiled egg, a small portion of fruit and bread. Plenty to start the day. Our problem was upon checkout. They insisted on charging me extra for each of my teenagers, stating they were not on the reservation because they were not children. To the tune of about $400.00. I ended up paying because I literally was walking out to attend my son's wedding. When I returned home, I pulled out my Hotels.com booking and sure enough my 17 year old was listed as was my 16 year old. I contacted the hotel for the refund, sent them the reservation page and my Visa receipt. Nothing. They claim they can't help me because I don't have the print out of the receipt...which in my opinion, should be on their computer. So I am now fighting it with visa. I will prevail. Beware......

An excellent apartment hotel in the heart of Istanbul. I stayed there already 4 times in the Japanese-style apartment. This time the breakfast in the adjacent Faros restaurant was disappointing. Last year they served a buffet breakfast with a nice selection of food; now you get a plate with small portions of cheese and a hard-boiled egg. Otherwise a perfect hotel and a perfect service.

Wonderful Hotel in a Convenient Location

Our family of four stayed here for six nights as a place to live before we could move into our apartment. We stayed in the Miyako suite, which has a kitchenette. We prepared meals for ourselves and the kids. The staff is very helpful. Not only do the staff clean the room, but they also do the dishes in the kitchenette. The water pressure from the shower head could have been much stronger and the tub needs a bit of work. But there was plenty of space for my wife and I and our two small children. The hotel is located next to Taksim Square, making it conveniently close to lots of shops and mass transit. We enjoyed our stay there.

I enjoyed my stay there.. I stayed in the Miyako suite with my family, the suite is clean, & also the hotel staff is very friendly & helpful :) The air condition worked well, but it dropped black dust & as soon as we informed the staff, they fixed it right away :) The kitchen is fully equipped with everything u might need during your stay (Microwave, Kitchen Utensils, kettle, etc.

We simply fell in love with Taxim suites.....

We were greeted by Teamon at the reception. He made us feel at home given his warm reception and temperament. Our luggage was swiftly taken to our room by a friendly man who demonstrated to us how to use the satellite TV, DVD player, Stereo system, and other amenities in the room.

When we called the next day to report our inability to operate the satellite, within couple of minutes a gentleman came to our room to fix the problem. When we had an issue with opening our safe, again Teamon came to rescue within couple of minutes. In our opinion, safe needs to be bolted down into floor to ensure higher safety.

We had booked the Miyako suite but due to its unavailability, Teamon up graded us to the Avenue suite (a larger suite). The suite looked exactly as presented at the taximsuites.com. We found the place well kept and clean.

The breakfast at Faros is simple and effective. We liked the fresh fruits and variety of cheeses. Their omelet (paid extra) was really delicious. Ahmet is an essential part of the Faros restaurant as he speaks English and has a can-do attitude no matter what we asked of him to do.

The check out was efficient and fast. Up on our departure, they suggested that we take the shuttle to airport which was a great suggestion due to its convenience and speed at only 10 TL per person. One staff guided us and carried our luggage to the bus station.

Overall, 5 stars hotel service, spacious & comfortable suites, in fantastic location at reasonable prices.

Your perfect home for a short visit

We were highly satisfied with Taxim Suites. We spent 4 nights in a Miyako apartment on the 1st floor. The apartment is nicely decorated, clean and aesthetic. The size makes you smiling too, of course you can always think about \"more and more\", but this is the size of an apartment in which many singles or young couples live their lives (40 sqm I believe). The bed is comfy and large enough for a couple; the couch in the front of the TV was also a favourite place to take a nap after the long strolls in the city.
The choice for breakfast could be a weak point for some; I was OK with it and I felt compensated by having it in a very nice café (this is the ground floor restaurant where the hotel guests have entry in the mornings. It's in the same building...).
Then after breakfast you can start your day and will discover that the location is just perfect. If you like to explore the city on foot and by public transportation than you will enjoy this place. All roads lead to Taxim. Going down to the tram (the one that goes to Sultanahmet, Tophane station near the Istanbul Modern Museum) is also a nice walk, takes about 15-20 minutes downhill. Walking to the fancy streets at the Macka park is also an easy 15 minutes walk.
All in all in Taxim Suites you get everything you would get in a hotel (daily cleaning, new towels, 24h service, breakfast, restaurant...) but here you will have a much larger room and more privacy.
I would go back.
On taxi from the airport to the hotel we spent 50 liras. To exchange currencies you should prefer to change not much more than this amount at the airport as they charge a shocking 4% commission. You will find one (or more) exchange bureaus next to the hotel entrance with good rates and 0 commission.
