Internet was slow and glitching.
The hot water in the shower was hot just for 5-10 minutes then it become cold so we got sick.
No change sheets every day and the last 2 days they told us they dont have enough clean sheet because no body did the hotel laundry.. avoid this hotel pls

Our room was clean and perfect for a one night stay. Unfortunately the noise outside our room disturbed us a lot. Other guests in the hotel were talking outside the room and we even had kids knocking on the door while running off. We did confront these people. Otherwise an okay stay 👌

You get what you pay for.

0 service. We asked for water bottles 5 times over 2 nights, no one brought us anything. There was no towels for the shower etc. Upon arrival, the help desk told us they only had one room for us even though we booked 2. Had to wait 1 hour to get another room which should have already been booked. Rooms were initially clean but no one came to clean afterwards. Hotel has a nice shuttle which takes you to Al-Haram very quickly.

A good stay

I loved how it was only a 20 minute walk to masjid al nabawi. During that walk there are so many local business you can shop which is so much cheaper. The hotel offered a iftar and suhoor which was very good simple but tasty. Only thing I would criticise would be the mattress was very uncomfortable and felt like a spring was poking me while sleeping. To reduce this feeling I placed another duvet and it was more comfortable. The cleaners are so nice. The place is very old since the bathroom tiles were falling apart and water was seeping through the cracks.

hotel and service were ok, main issue is really location which is at least 20 mins walking to the courtyard of the haram but you have to cross a major highway to make it in that time otherwise its at least 30 mins walking around the various concrete barriers. There is a free shuttle bus but this does not leave until the bus is full each time and thus allot of people just used to give up and walk instead of waiting, sometimes upto 30 mins before leaving.

We had a triple room which was quite cosy but manageable, 1 toilet roll between us so we had to ask for more everyday from housekeeping.

the bathrooms and carpets etc all look quite dated, there was heavy refurb going on in the lobby so maybe they are upgrading but overall it was probably value for money but if we had younger or older family members with us it would have been worst.

The staff were generally helpful whenever we did ask for anything and overall we probably got what we paid for but unlikely to use again.

The only positive was the Food Master restaurant next door was probably one of the best Pakistani food places we have ate in, was 24 hours and served all the classics really well, would highly recommend.

It's a well kept hotel and has their own shuttle service (2 mid size bus/coaches) running back & forth from hotel to Masjid-e-Nabwi 5 times before every salah. The dropping point is close to Janatul Baqi gate # 365 which is 5 minutes walk to Masjid.

However the hotel itself is almost 2.7 km away from Masjid-e- Nabwi and for a healthy normal person it takes about minimum 20-25 minute's. However, for people with walking disability it's not advisable.

This is i think the best hotel in the area. Much better than many claimed 3star hotels. Haram is at walking distance if you like to walk. Transport is limited. Only option available is taxi or careem. Mor cleaning would have been better. Facilities are good.

I would give them no stars if I could.

TLDR: Unless you can't find a place in Madinah that's within the 20-minute walk radius and your dates are fixed, don't book this place.

The staff - with the exception of one helpful lady at the front desk (didn't get her name) and one male staff member (Shareef), the room service team/front desk team will not care about you. We called the room service number a dozen times for the same thing and would have to go down to remind them just to get sent back, saying it will be delivered. And it never reached the room.

The shuttle - the only plus - but it was typically efficient only one-way (to the Haram) because there wasn't a fixed time for a return shuttle, so we ended up catching a cab.

The breakfast - where do I get started, apart from eggs and their bread, everything else was a disaster. We ended up grabbing a bite around one of the places around Haram.

The Rooms - the rooms that are sold for 4 people basically is a tiny double room that has two extra twin beds. It's impossible for 5 adults to even walk around that room. The pictures are deceiving. The bathroom is tinier!

Amenities - No iron or blow drier in the hotel (not the room, but the entire hotel). Old dirty pillows. Dirty carpets. No extra bedding or pillows. The room service was so stingy with extra towels, too!

Location - it's over 20 minutes of a walk so while they claim it's close to the Haram, it really isn't

Hotel is good and staff are very friendly. Rooms are good except for bathrooms. The shower area is half closed. Taking a shower means flodding the bathroom floor and some good time in cleaning it. I shouldnaay that this issue is in many hotels in KSA.

Also, there is lots of consteuction in the area between the hotel and the Haram area. So, walking between the Haram and the hotel is not easy. Shuttle is available though

Disappointing experience

The property is not as close to Al Haram as described. Though there is shuttle service offered, wait time for shuttle is tremendous. Shuttle bus is too small to accommodate all guests. More shuttles needed.
The room was clean . Minimal amenities ( hot water kettle and some tea , coffee. Unfortunately not restocked every day. You have to ask for it. There were no towels in the room when we arrived. Bathroom is too small with old sink and tiles. Shower was technically not existent . A shower head was installed in one of the corners of the bathroom between sink and toilet. There was hardly enough room to take a comfy shower.
The breakfast service was disappointing. Basic essentials like butter and jam were missing, and guests had to remove plastic wrappers from dishes themselves, which felt unhygienic. There were no serving spoons, cutlery, or napkins provided, making it inconvenient to enjoy the meal. While there was a variety of items, the presentation and quality were unappealing—cheap, unhealthy bread options and no fruits available. Tea and water were served in flimsy plastic cups, adding to the overall cheap and uncomfortable atmosphere. Definitely not the breakfast experience one would expect at a hotel in this price range.
Half way through our stay, construction in the main entrance was started , and we could only use the back entrance of the hotel.
Next time I will rather spend some extra $$$ to get comfortable service.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They only have one towel for a room with 4 people. When I requested more towels, they said they will send it. 1 hour later they still didn’t send it, so I asked again. When I asked again they said they will send it in an hour. I said ok. I went out, came back several hours later and it still didn’t come. The hotel isn’t in a good location, the hotel is old and smelly. Would not recommend. (I booked 4 rooms with 4 quadruple beds)

We had problems with the shower. When taking showers the water will stay on the floor and will not drain fast. Have to manually push the water to drain. The staff were excellent from front desk, bellmen and house keeping. Mr Sheriff, I think one of the bellmen was exceptional, he went 200% to help guests with a Wounderful smile. Not forgetting another Wounderful gentleman, I think he is a Saudi gentleman. These people made our stay pleasant. If the hotel can fixe the drainage issues, it will be a Wounderful place to stay. The shuttle drivers were professionals, when people were yelling, they were calm and collective. Fixe the drains in the showers, your hotels will be excellent. Not forgetting, the location was not bad for the price charged per room.

Enough number of beds.
Shuttle service to Al Haram for all prayers.
English speaking receptionists.

Cons:
No Iron. All hotels I have been to provide iron so I am used to one. If you are planning on living here get your own iron or you can use their laundry service, which does not have a \"iron only\" service, you have to pay for washing and iron bundle.
No hair dryer. Again this is something that is commonly provided in all hotels. Bring your own, nearby stores didn't carry one either for you to buy one. For women it's a dire need if they are planning to make a umrah intention.
The hotel can at least carry 5 or 10 of irons and hair dryers so they can hand them over on request basis.

Can walk to the haram. Takes approx. 20 mins. However, construction works may make it longer and more difficult to walk if you have family.

The condition of the bathroom is not the best. Underneath the tiles filled up with water, whenever you stepped on them water would come out. This made the bathroom always wet and messy.

There is also a shuttle bus that takes residents to the haram before every salah.

The property is well furnished. The only downside however was the lack of a microwave. Other than that, it was near to Haram and it had its own shuttle service which ran half an hour before every Namaz, which was wonderful. Although the best thing about the staff is that they were very pleasing, they accommodated us way earlier than the regular check-in time, due to our flight arriving too early. In short, very hospitable staff, definitely would recommend.

Fantastic Stay at Artal Taibah Hotel, Madina

I recently had a wonderful stay at Artal Taibah Hotel in Madina, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The overall atmosphere was very positive, making my time there comfortable and enjoyable.

The rooms were a highlight – clean, cosy, and very comfortable. It was clear that the hotel prioritizes cleanliness, and the fresh, scented air in the room added a relaxing touch.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. They were always willing to assist with any request, making me feel right at home. I also made good use of the hotel’s restaurant, which offered a satisfying dining experience, along with the reliable laundry service that made my stay even more convenient.

Though the location is a little farther from the Masjid An Nabi, the hotel provides a regular shuttle service that made transportation easy and stress-free. This minor inconvenience was well compensated by the quality of service and comfort provided by the hotel.

Overall, I highly recommend Artal Taibah Hotel for anyone visiting Madina. It offers great comfort, excellent service, and a truly welcoming atmosphere.

The room that was given first was extremely small. No place to pray Salah. Washroom was very dirty and with no proper place to shower; a small corner. However , when we complained they gave us a bigger room which was only positive thing. Yet carpet was very dirty, washroom was nasty and smelly. Though they offer shuttle bus, if you miss it 25-30 mins walk back to the hotel.

4 Hours Terrible waiting for simple transaction - Stayed in horrible room

The lady at the lobby made me wait from 7 AM to 11 AM just to complete a simple transaction even if I already paid for my previous night.

The room was horrible.
No housekeeping on my 3 days stay
No chair in the room
Floors are dirty
Hair everywhere
The bathroom is a complete disaster - not cleaned for years maybe. The nasty dirty floor is not even and water does not flow.
The sink is super close to the toilet and can not stand in between.
Walls are just patched after construction and look super ugly.
Make a good decision AVOID THIS PLACE and DON\"T STAY THERE!

The property could be a good place to stay if they just work on cleaning at least, cleanness is hotels lest priority (not acceptable )
Staff is good specially Abdul Rehman on Recieption.
They give me a nasty room, which I refuse to take then they gave me reasonably good room.
Walk from haram is 25 to 30 min , shutter service not consistent so don’t really on it, in hot weather walking to the haram is a nightmare.

Just okay. The area is not the best, and walking is not an option. The rooms were fine, clean, functional. I think the shuttle is what I have the most issues with. It needs serious improvement. The shuttle bus suggests that they don't care too much, they just provide it as a service to have done so.

Hard to pinpoint the exact issue, but the staff doesn't care about effectiveness. A shuttle service needs to balance frequency vs delay. For my entire stay it's been about waiting for the bus to fill up with minimum regards to our time. So you show up early to spend time in haram, but then they wait and wait and the bus is still not full so they wait for 30 mins, which i find disrespectful to those who show on time. What they could've done is did a quick run and came back in time to pick the second group. On the other hand, it it's a busy prayer, they'll leave and say we filled up early often not coming for a second round. Very often they will not have any more runs to the masjid. This service needs someone who takes pride in his work and delivering people to the mosque on time, delicately balancing the options of traffic conditions, coming for second round, or waiting for potential guests. Oh and a WhatsApp group with live location would help a lot

We booked the 3 twin room however hotel staff were kind enough to upgrade us to King bed suite. The room itself was nice and clean however the bathroom needs major update as the tiles were old and rusty and had mold on them. The service staff was really nice and friendly. We didn't get to experience walking around the hotel area as we were only taking taxi to go to Masjid Nabawi. Due to many road closers, getting to the Masjid and back to the hotel was a nightmare.
