OK stay

The gentleman at the front desk wasn't friendly each time I saw him. No hot water one of the nights during our stay. Bathroom vent had no cover and looked dirty inside. Overall, it was just OK.

A place to visit!

Really nice, good food (dinner) friendly staff, georgeous view, place and sorroundings, wine tasting around. Clean and comfortable. The only minus is, not public transport around and we did not know, also the buffet breakfast not really interesting.

It was the perfect location for a Tuscan experience. The drive out required our GPS but once we were there we didn’t want to leave. Thankfully we could have dinner and breakfast there, so we didn’t have to. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The room was very small and could be more maintained and the air condition was pretty weak and made an annoying noise. To get a a pool towel you need to pay 3 Euro for person. Other than that the location was nice, the the staff was nice and helpful.

Amazing hotel

Excellent hotel for a couple trip. Hotel is located in a remote area therefore I recommend everyone staying longer than one night to rent a car. Hotel is on a top of a Tuscany hill and the rooms have an amazing view over the valley. The pool is a must that you have to try before leaving. The restaurant is also really nice with a great menu and wine list. The bedrooms are equipped with A/C, mini-bar fridge, private bathroom and a very spacious wardrobe.

Friendly service, clean and comfortable hotel

The hotel is situated close to the top of the hill. There is a made road leading from the main road to the hotel. The driving is comfortable though you may have to give way to the oncoming traffic because some parts of the road are narrow. Beautiful vineyard view during driving.

Great base for tuscany

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great value. Great cappuccinos by Franco every morning and they had prosecco to make mimosas at breakfast. Good enough variety at breakfast but go early as they don't replenish as much as they should. Minor feedback to the hotel that they should provide more serving cutlery (there really was a lack of this everyday at breakfast). They also charged 3 euro per person for pool towels per stay , which was reasonable but they didn't mention till we got the invoice upon leaving. Nice pool and nice balcony in room. Was a great base for 5 nights in Chianti while we did day trips all over Tuscany, about an hour away from Lucca/Pisa, Florence, Siena. They also gave us complimentary wine tasting tour and tasting voucher in Gaiole which we enjoyed as well.

Beautiful stay on the chianti hillside

Town close to wineries. Villa set amoungst olive trees and grapevines. Beautiful view. Had a nice dinner at the hotel making for a relaxing evening. Would not recommend traveling to / from in the dark. Narrow roads and a bit hard to find :)

Le charme de la Toscane

L'hôtel à beaucoup de charme, les extérieurs sont vraiment magnifiques, la restauration y est très bonne ,un bémol sur le petit déjeuner qui merite un peu plus d'originalité .
La piscine n'est pas bien entretenu, l'eau de la douche de salle de bain etait tiede .
Sinon c'est un endroit à decouvrir

Merveilleux endroit

L hôtellerie est excellente ainsi que la restauration, les tarifs un peu élevés mais nous sommes au beau milieu de la Toscane , dans un endroit idyllique ! La piscine reste a renover sérieusement bien qu elle soit opérationnelle.

Ein gutes 3- Sternehotel- entspricht in etwa der Einstufung in Deutschland. Die Lage ist phantastisch- auf einem Hügel mit einer grandiosen Aussicht und schönem Freibereich, absolut ruhig und doch sehr gute und schnelle Anbindung an Schnellstraßen und damit super geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Stadtbesichtigungen Siena, Florenz, etc..Der Rest der Anliegerstrasse ist allerdings etwas abenteuerlich.
Wir hatten ein Economyzimmer. Es war einfach, aber geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit neuem modernen Badezimmer. Es war sehr klein, aber für uns war es für 4 Nächte in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir ein größeres Zimmer empfehlen. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.
Unbedingt das Restaurant ausprobieren- tolle toskanische Küche mit einer einzigartigen Bedienung!
