We recommend the Toscana Ambassador to everyone, as we had a great experience with its cleanliness, hospitality, friendliness, and an extraordinary breakfast, with excellent service from Ada & Julia and the rest of the crew, from the front desk to room service.
If you ever visit Poggibonsi, Tuscany, stay here with no hesitation.

Excellent emplacement pour explorer la région.

Facile de se trouver un stationnement gratuit en face de l'hôtel.

Chambre propre, mais relativement sans charme, plutôt impersonnelle côté déco, mais tout ce dont on a besoin y est toutefois, donc je recommande si vous cherchez qqchose d'efficace, abordable et fonctionnel.

Le déjeuner buffet est très bon!

The staff took great care of us. Found us a late night taxi to take us to and from wedding at wine villa. Served Beers after bar was closed (fyi— the bar was never open). Made up the room even with do not disturb on door. Easy, close parking!

This hotel was very suitable for our 2 night stay. It is fairly modern, the rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating, although the so called restaurant was non-existent during our stay but fortunately we could find dining options nearby. There's also a local supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. I would stay again.

There is no restaurant or cafe on the property. No room service. We reached late and we're hoping to order in after a long tiring day but no options. Room was comfortable. Internet was very slow. Breakfast buffet was good. No taxi service, hotel concierge helped us book a private taxi for return as we had a lot of luggage. Train station and bus stop close by. If you intend to travel to Florence or Pisa, this may not be most appropriate location due to the distance. Overall the hotel worked well for us.

Nice modern hotel with friendly staff

Very nice hotel with modern rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast had a good selection and there was cold free water in the room for us at check in. They let us check in earlier than booked which was great.

Close to the train station, 10-15 min walk, for this using public transport.

Very convenient off autostrada

We really enjoyed the area. Staff at hotel was fine, I just need to remember to be specific when reserving room, because you probably won't be able to once your arrive. We ordered a triple room when we arrived wanted to change to double or just one bed. Like I said we managed.

Bad room, great staff

Beds were hard, pillows were flat and hard. Electrical outlets were ALL damaged. Shower head had no pressure and I had to stand on the curved part of the front of the bath tub to get wet.
Breakfast was pretty good. Lots of choices and staff were friendly, attentive and knew how to make good cappuccino.

Superb inconvenient location

Location is completely out of the city/town which take approx 1hrs to town by bus or 30min if you drive! Receptionist told me maximum take 30min if travel by bus which is not!

Very nice surprise in Tuscany

I made the reservation just before the check in and got an outstanding rate! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable! I really didn't expect to get a nice hotel like this by the low price I paid. It's strategically located between Siena and Florence, and it's perfect to set a base for Tuscany trips, as long you have a car! The only complain, the internet wireless in my room was unstable and slow. For sure I'd stay there again!

Very comfortable stay, very convenient location

I had a very pleasant night here. The hotel is immediately off the autostrade, making for easy access and departure. Across from the hotel is a Coop, also a convenient plus. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and my room seemed recently refurbished. I had a lovely large, comfortable bed with luxurious linens, a wonderful rainfall shower, and everything was done in tones of gray, white, and brown (in the bathroom), which was attractive. Wifi was strong enough for my purposes. The television had few channels, but good selections of news in various languages. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay which was convenient for my plans - it's hard to ask more of a hotel for a single night!

Great location, room and shower!

We had such a great experience at this hotel. Really easy to get to from Poggibonsi train station and so close to town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views from the hotel room. Very good breakfast buffet. Had the best shower too! Highly recommended.

Insufficient air conditioning system

We spent the first night with the window open in an attempt to get the room comfortable. It was a Saturday night so there was a lot of noise in the outdoor area of the connected restaurant which is not operated by the hotel. Very bad night so we asked the desk clerk to have someone check out the air conditioning system. The problem wasn't that the system was not running, the problem was that it did not have the capability to cool the room so it was another uncomfortable night for us. The staff tried to help even offering to change us to another room for the second night but the room they showed us could not cool either.

Toscana Ambassador

This hotel was convenient for travelling around the nearby cities and Poggibonsi seemed like a good location for a base for a few days. The hotel however was nowhere near the four stars it claims to be, and if you are booking it for that reason then you should look elsewhere. The breakfast was the worst we have encountered on our 5 months of travelling, the hotel was full of tour groups which arrived late at night and left early in the morning (very noisily). The hotel seems to be popular amongst tour companies and if you are paying for a tour with four star hotels you are not getting your money's worth.

We booked for 3 adults and when we arrived they gave us a room with one double bed, and we had to purchase another room at full price. Worn rooms, no way a 4 star hotel.

Per essere un 4 stelle italiano me l’aspettavo meglio, rubinetti con acqua che fuoriusciva male per via della scarsa manutenzione e pulizia, maniglia miscelatore della doccia rimasta in mano all’apertura per quanto era dura. Colazione cappuccino e caffè macchina automatica, il caffè meglio non commentare.
Per il resto personale alla hall molto cordiale forse l’unica cosa positiva

Mi dispiace ma non merita le 4 stelle, stanza per tre persone davvero piccola, pulizia scadente il soffione della doccia pieno di calcare muffa negli angoli della doccia, e per la prima volta mi lasciano la saponetta per le mani dopo le pulizie giornaliere, il terzo letto attaccato vicino una grossa macchia di umido e con una presa sopra la testa. Problemi con la TV che aveva il telecomando non funzionante. Nota positiva senza dubbio la colazione con la gentilezza del personale al servizio bar. Purtroppo sono stato in hotel a tre e due stelle che a cospetto sono un passo avanti.

Molto da migliorare

La posizione è ottima, ma 4 stelle non proprio.
Albero con zona ristorante, ma non accessibile per chi prenota e può aver bisogno di pranzare o cenare per problemi vari, la camera era mancante di una sedia alla scrivania, frigo bar non funzionante...ma cosa molto importante le prese elettriche non sicure...si staccavano dalla presa se non le mantenevi con l'altra mano.
Per non parlare delle pareti con notevoli segni di crepe. In tutto questo abbiamo pagato una camera tripla Deluxe ...che di Deluxe non aveva nulla...forse il bagno con porta rotoli rotto....
Insomma potrei andare avanti su qualche altro particolare ...per la pulizia...ma sorvoliamo.
La colazione buona...tutte le torte erano come fatte in casa...
Sicuramente non ci ritorneremo.

Ho dormito solo una notte, ma la stanza, all'ultimo piano della struttura, presentava diversi problemi: sul soffitto era presente una larga macchia bagnata dovuta ad una infiltrazione dal tetto e pezzetti di tinteggiatura cadevano saltuariamente sul tavolino sottostante, il rilevatore di fumo al centro della stanza dondolava appeso ad un filo, mentre nel bagno cieco l'aspiratore non funzionava e il bordo esterno era rotto. Il mattino seguente ho segnalato i problemi alla receptionist che non ha preso nessun appunto e mi ha anzi detto che gli aspiratori dei bagni sono molto silenziosi!!! (è l'aria che aspirano che fa rumore, dico io) Esperienza negativa, senza parlare delle finestre che si potevano aprire liberamente senza nessuna protezione!! Stanza al 5° piano!!

Personale molto cordiale. Struttura un pò datata, direi un discreto 3 stelle + che un 4 stelle come citato. Wi-Fi accettabile. Se devo fare qualche critica, direi che saponette, shampoo, ecc un pò miseri. Ventola nel bagno non funzionante, frigo in camera funzionante a fasi alterne (nonostante avessi avvisato che subito non funzionava) Per il resto tutto ok e soprattutto colazione a buffet (dolce e salato) con prodotti veramente buoni. Ci ritornerei 👍

Es perfecto si vas en coche. Tienes aparcamiento muy fácil en la puerta y un centro comercial a 200 metros. La habitación que yo cogí fué la doble deluxe (la diferencia del precio es poca con una standard y merece la pena). El hotel es 4 estrellas pero en Italia eso significa como uno de 3 en España, todo correcto y cómodo pero sin grandes lujos. En cuanto al desayuno está bien, no es un buffet muy grande pero hay lo suficiente para desayunar bien tanto de cosas dulces como saladas y la atención de los camareros muy buena (en la máquina dispensadora de bebidas no hay descafeinado pero cada mañana me preparaban ellos un capuccino descafeinado). Lo recomiendo como sitio para quedarse varias noches y desde ahí visitar sitios como Siena, San Gimignano o Volterra que están muy cerca.

Facilidade para visitar Siena e San Gimignano.

O atendimento foi na recepção e café da manhã foram excelentes. O café da manhã é farto, mas repetitivo para o padrão. Um dos elevadores estava quebrado, e o outro, às vezes demorava .Tive problema com a descarga do vaso sanitário. O chuveiro é maravilhoso, assim como o espaço do box. Senti falta de uma barra de apoio, pois, se houver algum deslize, não há como evitar uma queda. Só existe um espelho no banheiro.
A localização é muito boa, pois fica próximo da estação de trem e do centro comercial.

Razoável, o ar condicionado não aceitava regulagem, a janela abriu e ficou travada, e tivemos o incômodo de baterem 3 vezes na madrugada em nosso quarto, o telefone do quarto não funcionava , e pela manhã segundo a recepção foi um hóspede chinês que se enganou, porém 3 vezes nos deixando inseguros.

Ne mérite pas plus qu'une étoile....

Ne restez surtout pas dans cet hôtel. Hormis la salle de bain qui a été rénovée, le reste de la chambre est vieillote et peu confortable. Lorsque je suis entré dans la chambre, il faisait 27.5°C. Un vrai four! J'ai essayé de baissé la température avec le boîtier de contrôle mais celui-ci était H.S.! Il a fallu que j'ouvre la fenêtre pour pouvoir dormir. Les bruits extérieurs ne m'ont pas permis de bien me reposer. J'ajouterai que le téléphone de la chambre est également H.S. et le siège des toilettes cassé. Bref, pour 92€ payés, je suis extrêmement déçu. Il affiche 4 étoiles sur la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel. Je ne leur donnerais pas plus d'une étoile!
