Second time here. Very happy with hotel, basic breakfast and facilities. Room service and reception are great and helpful. Ensuite rooms are clean, comfortable and have big opening windows. Nothing negative at all apart from the wait for the lift in the morning as hotel only has two lifts and if hotel is busy, you can be wsiting 5 mins or more. But stairs ok - apart from if you're on a top floor!
I definitely stay here a third or fourth time!

Arrived before 11pm, exhausted after a long hard drive!
Total confusion as there are two separate Hotels with the same name!
Security guard showed me and let me in the underground car park but on check in was told it was the other hotel, same company but the other side of a busy road!
I’m disabled and on crutches carrying my bags. The kind security man escorted me across to the other hotel!
Redemption!
The receptionist had been expecting me, handed me my electronic key but then said he could switch me to a ground floor room. There was a lift but he said this would be better for me as it had a disabled friendly bathroom!
He carried my bags and checked out the room, went and got me a bottle of water and some chocolate!!!
I was out like a light!
Well done that man… 👍💕

Absolutely disgusting, we are talking about a hotel situated in Germany, European country, the hotel is outdated, beds are uncomfortable and the hotel breakfast is not edible. We booked two double bedrooms, the room only had two single beds, they joined it together but without joining clips, the window had a roof which anyone could climb, so couldn’t open the window. The reception staff are not helpful at all, they don’t seem to care. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at

Great hotel with easy access to city and beyond

We stayed in this hotel for a family gathering. Overall the hotel was great and the included breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

The only thing we have to mark down is the cleaners who do not seem to understand the do not disturb signs and on multiple occasions even undid the inside lock in order to barge into the room... We reported this to reception on our last day when we finally got fed up with it and they promised to address this with the head of cleaning.

a review of the Panorama Inn Hotel

Check-in was very straightforward. The room was clean and warm. The beds were comfortable. Bedside lights needed replacing. Extra pillows were readily provided and an a wake up call proved reliable. Breakfast was excellent and served over a long time period. Evening meals were taken at Einsteins - a homely ranch-style restaurant twenty meters away from the hotel main entrance. The food was excellent and quite cheap - 30 euros for two people having a soft drink, a main course and a dessert each..

We walked several times to the nearby U-barn station of Bilstedt - five hundred metres from the hotel. Therefore this hotel is easily accessed from the public transport system (which, in itself, is very well-signed and easy to navigate - even by people who speak no German!).

I would certainly recommend this budget hotel to any visitor to Hamburg.

The location is fine. However, the drainages of bathtub and sink were terrible. Water could not flow out smoothly. Wall in the bathroow was too dirty. Security for room guests to temporarily keep their luggages was not good. There were no any acknowledgement receipt for room guests. It meant that anyone can go inside to pick ANY luggages.

The hotel is fine and I've stayed there several times, it's my regular choice of hotel when I visit my relative in Hamburg. What ruined my stay was lack of sleep because other guests were so noisy into the early hours. Not the fault of the hotel, though!

Nightmare hotel

I have travelled all around the world and stayed in many hotel and I can conclude that this hotel, by far, is one of the most terrible places I have experienced. My original booking was 5 nights and after one night I booked , through expedia.com, and for a few extra EURO's per night extra a great hotel downtown in Hamburg.

Actually I had booked 2 rooms as some friends of ours joined us on our travels as well.
Entering the room we were surprised to see the dirty carpet. and a poorly cleaned room.
WIFI ? 1 hour for free and then pay 4 Euro's per day. so we paid and still the WIFI did not work.
We needed a ironboard which, in my experience was always complementory. They wanted a 10 EURO deposit for that and you had to drag it yourself from the reception up to your room.

Only one elevator working for the duration of my stay and since this hotel clearly is a transit hotel for buss traveling visitors, we had to walk 10 stories up the stairs because the elevator simply could not cope with the tremendous amount of people. Breakfast was also like going on a safari trip trying to eat something with the tremendous amount of people is an experience itself. If you ever book this hotel, ask the staff how you need to open the garage door I will not review it but is sure is Hilarious and tragic at the same time. I filed a complaint with Cheaptickets requesting a full refund.

the check in was late and friendly. parking was at a premium but the hotel has an agreement with locals. you pay the 1 hour fee to get a ticket, they give you a pass that attaches to the ticket for your windshield. it is good til at least 9:00am the following day. the hotel is clean and the breakfast was plentiful. service was good. nice job all

Near to U-Bahn so handy for sightseeing

We found this hotel on Expedia and it looked like a good price. It is about 5 minutes walk from the U-Bahn so was good for our short trip to Hamburg. The staff were very helpful and spoke English which helped. The room was sold as a double but it was actually a twin. The hotel advertises wi-fi in the room which it doesn't say is only free for 30 minutes and after that you have to pay 4 Euro a day. Having paid for a 3-day pass the signal strength was so poor it was unusable all weekend.

A good hotel

I always stay at the Panorama Inn when I come to Hamburg to visit my cousin. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are pleasantly furnished and comfortable. The neighbourhood seems to have a largely Turkish population and it is well-served by the Billstedt Centre, which has excellent shops and facilities. The U-Bahn operates a frequent service into the city and on an after 0900hours day ticket will cost just 6Euros for as many journeys as you can make: the city is about a 10-15 minute tube journey away.

Christmas Break

We tend to go to Hamburg most years for the Christmas Markets. Getting almost as busy as Frankfurt now but great fun. Hotel is well placed for local restaurants and especiallly the Billstedt Center and adjacent U-Bahn. Very comfortable, great breakfasts and the fridge is a real boon if you get a room with one. As it happened this year through no fault of the hotel a water main burst and on our last day no water. But the hotel were great by transferring people over the road to the sister Panorama Hotel for showers, ablutions and breakfast. Very efficient. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and large. The sheets and towels were clean. Our room had two separate twin beds but we put them beside each other. The breakfast was really excellent. The only problem is that it is far from the city center. But it is easily accessible by train and it takes about 30 minutes.

Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es war groß und äußerst zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Betten waren bequem. Im Unterschied zu anderen Hotels gab es genügend Lampen, die für angenehmes Licht sorgten.
Ebenso gut ausgestattet war das Bad.

Alle Mitarbeiter, ob Rezeption, Zimmerservice oder Frühstücksdamen waren freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben für Anfang März erneut gebucht!

Ich war im hotel schon mehrmals. Das hotel reicht vollkommen aus. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das einzige was diesmal genervt hat ist, ich hatte mein Zimmer im flur also kurz vorm Fahrstuhl. Da ist jeder der auf der etage war runter oder rauf gefahren, sodass ich jeden gehört habe und nicht jeder ist rücksichtsvoll und ist leise gewesen. Sodass ich teilweise schon um 6 uhr von den leuten geweckt worden bin und spät in der nacht ebenso. Vielleicht kann das hotel ein schild vorm Fahrstuhl und im Fahrstuhl hängen um rücksichtnahme anderer hotelgäste bitten. Ansonsten war alles zu meiner Zufriedenheit.

Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist gut. Nettes Personal, aber ich hätte beim Auschecken die Nachfrage, ob alles ok war schön gefunden.
Betten sehr weich und niedrig. Alles sehr staubig. Internet ist ok.
Kloschüssel hatte bereits einen Sprung innen und obendrauf hinten mehrere Risse. Waschbeckenstöpsel war siffig und der Rand vom Abfluss auch. Spiegel nicht gut gereinigt. Fugen am Bodenrand teils dreckig. Glasregal dreckig.
Im großen und ganzen nix für Allergiker bei dem vielen Staub.
Hunde kosten extra, obwohl ich mir nicht vorstellen kann, dass die Zimmer extra gründlich gemacht werden.
Frühstück: man wird satt, aber ich hätte mir vor allem sonntags Crossaints gewünscht und Rührei und Speck. Lachs wäre schön gewesen, aber für 3* denke ich zu viel verlangt.
Umgebung: viele ausländische Geschäfte/Restaurants. Ich denke der Ausländeranteil ist in diesem Stadtteil höher.
Für 1 Zwischenübernachtung hat es zwar gereicht, aber fand ich dann doch recht teuer. Ich brauche keinen Luxus, aber Sauberkeit und ein ausgiebiges Frühstück.

Nach dreimaligen Umzug in ein akzeptables Zimmer ohne Gestank und Schimmel, trotzdem total abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig. Nur 2 Fahrstühle für 300 Zimmer, hält auf jeder Etage, ist ständig überfüllt , einmal 13 Minuten mit Gepäck gewartet um in die Lobby zu gelangen.
Restaurant beim Frühstück völlig überfüllt, Angebot ist dürftig und auf Minimum begrenzt, ständig alles vergriffen, zu wenig Personal um sich den Belangen der Gäste zu widmen, großes Schubsen und Drängen der Gäste, einfach unangenehm. Widerlich wie sich einige benehmen, in Ruhe frühstücken aussichtslos, da 2 Busse und jede Menge Gäste gleichzeitig frühstückten.
Fazit: Nie wieder

Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel, aber das Badezimmer ließ leider zu wünschen übrig – der Toilettensitz war locker und die Dusche war schlecht positioniert und drehte sich während des Duschens ständig von selbst, was ziemlich unangenehm war.

Das Frühstück war leider sehr enttäuschend. Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine, das Brot war trocken und schmeckte alt, und es fehlten frisches Obst, Rührei und Speck. Auch die Qualität der Aufschnitte war nicht überzeugend. Es war eines der schwächsten Frühstücke, das ich je in einer Unterkunft erlebt habe.

Auch das Personal hätte etwas aufmerksamer sein können. Ich hoffe, dass diese Punkte in Zukunft verbessert werden, denn die Unterkunft hat grundsätzlich Potenzial.

Schlechter Schallschutz innerhalb des Hotels - zur Straße war's okay. Aber: ohne Lüftungsanlage zu dritt im Zimmer macht man doch das Fenster auf, und dann wird's sehr unangenehm laut.
Ein maulendes Kind auf dem Hotelflur oder im Nebenzimmer verhindert Schlaf zuverlässig.
Frühstück ist sehr einfach und knapp okay. Dass das Frühstück um 5:30 Uhr startet, ist super für frühe Unternehmungen. Buslinien halten direkt gegenüber und auch U-Bahn und Einkaufscenter sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

In Summe war's für 2 Nächte okay. Für entspannten Familienurlaub wär's nicht meine erste Wahl.

Hotellet gir på nettet inntrykk av å ligge på en høyde på en ås. Det gjør det ikke! Det ligger ved siden av ei tungt trafikkert vegkyss. Fordelen med dette er det er masse butikker og restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet av hotellet. Hotellet har egen garasje og det er et stort pluss i en trang by. Rommene er litt under standard størrelse men i OK stand. Badet kunne med fordel fått en oppgradering. Det var ingen temperaturjustering på rommet vi hadde og det var en varm natt vi var der. Sengene er ok. Frokosten som vi hadde forhåndsbetalt var en skuffelse for oss som er vant til norske hotellfrokoster. Utvalget var meget begrenset, samtidig var det ikke noe problem å finne \"noe\" man kunne spise. Hvis man sammenlikner med det amerikanerne kaller \"continental breakfast\" så er utvalget ok. Personalet var hyggelige og enkle å kommunisere med.
