Great room, great area a block away from the waterfront. The room was large and the bathroom even more impressive with a bidet and spa shower. Front desk was super friendly and upgraded us even though we only stayed one night. Breakfast was amazing with both Taiwanese and western styles represented. Lots of cute murals everywhere to uplift the spirits. Highly recommended!

L’état de la chambre et des installations est vraiment moyen, il y avait probablement eu un dégât d’eau et le plafond avait été réparé à moitié. Il y avait aussi une forte odeur d’humidité sur l’étage.

Heureusement que le service du personnel était excellent, ça nous a permis de passer un séjour agréable quand même.

This hotel makes solo female travellers like me feel unsafe! The door to my room was faulty, so it didn’t close properly behind me when I left in the morning, the hotel knew, yet decided to leave my hotel room’s door open (not just unlocked, but open) ON PURPOSE the entire day I was gone, for about 9 hours, and never even tried to contact me to let me know, although they had my phone number and would have easily been able to contact me. I thought someone had broken into my room and gone through my things! It was super scary. :( When I asked the manager why they did that, he refused to respond, even told me I would not able to understand if he told me anyways because of my cultural background/ethnicity, which was super rude, disrespectful, racist and completely unethical. Go somewhere else - I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

I chose this hotel based on proximity to the HSR and the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the festivity, the excellent customer service, the wonderful kingsize bed, and I actually really appreciated the free drinks and noodle soup.

If i ever end up in Kaoshiung again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great stay near the pier

I had a great time staying at this hotel near Dayi Pier 2. It's close to several transit stops (MRT, light rail and bus) making it super convenient to get around. Front desk is staffed 24 hours, with friendly and responsive staff, so you're never without help should you need it. The hotel building has a floor for guest lounge, complete with a kitchenette, popcorn machine, and computer stations. At the basement there's a good-sized laundry room (free wash, dryer cost 50 NTD per load) next to a ton of entertainment equipment like air hockey table, video games, etc. Free breakfast buffet was included with my Deluxe room booking, and I took advantage twice -- it's an added value where you get a mix of Taiwanese and western style breakfast items.
My (Deluxe) room far exceeded my expectations. The room itself is not huge but the modern bathroom is the most spacious I've had on my trip through multiple cities in Taiwan. It has both a generous sized shower and a big tub (which I didn't get a chance to use but would have if I had stayed longer) -- better than the master bath in some houses where I came from in California. The room is well equipped with a luggage rack, plenty of hangers for your clothes, a long desk, a mini-fridge, a safe that fits my 16-inch laptop, and a drawer of free snacks and drinks. You also get 2 free bottles of water and a hot water kettle. There's also a makeup mirror -- super thoughtful.
Overall, I feel like they thought of everything. Highly recommend!

Pretty art decorates the interior walls. Staff can speak many languages. Located downtown, which is an easy walk to most attractions, food, and shops. The one misrepresentation is that I ordered a family room hoping to get 2 queen beds and a twin, and received two queen-king sized beds and a princess carriage bed. We made it work.

This is a quirky, artsy hotel with nice people, comfortable rooms, and a great location. The simple rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and the bathroom and shower great. In room amenties like tea, coffee, soft drinks and soup were a bonus. It's walking distance to the Pier 2 Art Area and the Wharf and Port, with some nice restaurants, and a 7/11, right across the street. They also have a great Laundrey room fir free ( pay for the Dryer). Breakfast was adequate, especially for Asian tastes, but lacking for the Western palette . All in all, a great value.

It is clean. I like the bath room which is quite big and the most important thing is clean, clean and clean.
Have free noodles and drinks not only bottles of water.

4 of family trip for 3 days. Spacious family room and plenty of amenities, drink, snack, etc. Even laundry is free. Other visitors are families and we did not have to mind our kid behaviour. 1 minute to 7-11 as well. Excellent for family stay!

Hotel staff sent email on how to reach the hotel, the instruction is clear and useful, however, it was sent 1 day before, and we missed checking the email. Suggest to send email few days or 1 week before.
We like the breakfast, and the area is spacious, and the staff managing the area are friendly and diligent.
Basement resting area is great, washing machine is free but need to pay for the dryer.
The weighing machine for the luggage at the main door is a plus.
There is a distance from the hotel to the nearest MRT station.
There are complimentary instant noodles and can drinks provided in the room, it is very thoughtful.

Nice hotel about 8 min walk from KRT. Room is spacious with nice drawings on the walls and has free cans of coke and cup noodles. There's an \"entertainment\" room at the basement where you can use the computer and play some games while waiting for your clothes to be washed and dried. Will definitely stay there again.

The room has an attached bathroom and toilets which is supposed to be convenient for the guests. However, there are idiots who blow dry their hair at 4am, for a good half an hour. Left a message at front desk to request that they leave a note / message in the bathroom to advise guests not to use the hair dryer at unearthly hours. Guess what? There's an idiot who is using the hair dryer now, at 1.30am! Not so much of the hotel / hostel 's fault. There can be better sound proofing or better layout (bathroom outside the room), to prevent those inconsiderate people from being idiots. I can even hear people peeing from my bed.

Nothing to fault except for the terrible layout (bathroom inside the room).

I truly like this hotel despite it is not as luxurious as other hotels that I had stayed. The only reason is that the staffs, right from the reception to the room service, are really friendly & helpful.

My only complaint is that the breakfast served is a far cry from what it was when I lasted visited few months ago.

A really affordable, nice & comfortable place to stay.

Very good service, friendly staff. Sent me an email to let me know how to get to the hotel from the MRT station, using pictures to help me visualise the route. Hotel has a shuttle bus service, but not from the airport. I would suggest customers go straight to the nearest MRT station. It's just a couple of minutes' walk to the hotel.

The location of the hotel was great. Near the pier and the train station.
Amenities in the hotel was great, with the laundry, etc. Room was also quite big. However the hotel desk staff should be more flexible. We booked one more night one day later, and wanted to retain the same room. However our request was rejected.
