Good ssfe area even at night. Close to markets, train station, mayor bus routes and not far from the airport. There are several restaurants nearby and a 7-11 at tge corner.

The hotel staff is friendly and assist everytime. The room was clean and well kept. However the bed sheets were not clean and the bed was full of hair, this is the only thing I didn’t like about my stay.

Arrived early as typhoon Gaemi was approaching and were given early checkin, thank you!
Property is excellent, super clean and well equipped with super comfortable beds in good sized rooms. Staff are all very good and friendly and location is great. We originally booked for 4 nights than extended for another 2 .
Breakfast is ok.
Would we stay again,most certainly yes. Excellent stay .

Great location and overall a pretty nice set of facilities. All things considered for Kaohsiung it’s great! They also replenish consumables every day as well as change the used towels.

The single sliding shower/toilet door setup is definitely more suitable for solo or couples, or friends that you are extremely close/comfortable with. Aside from not being able to close both sides you can definitely see the other side through the reflection through the gap of the glass sliding door.

The hotel room is big and bed is very comfortable.
Shower room is big too.
The hotel is also very near to a METRO station, so very easy to travel around, even to Airport.

There is one supermarket at 5 minutes working distance,
plus other restaurants too.

The only negative experience is, the towel had bad smell....

A good choice for a quick stop-over. Bed was a bit on the hard side. Breakfast options were limited and very average quality, however for the price this wasn't a big surprise. Our initial room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke; however staff were supportive and an alternative room was allocated.
Great location with easy access to public transport.

Nice hotel. Clean but there are dusts on the walls. Room is big even for their smallest one. We had the trendy queen
room. There is a sliding partition that separates the room and the toilet area. It's very good. Quiet down the room from the corridor area. Great place to snooze. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers for use at level 15. Detergents are provided. Loved it. Remember to exit from orange line mrt. So much nearer.

okay business hotel for a day, did not expect too much, but was surprised to find my 2nd floor room with out window, but rather glass goles that lets the light in. This is not meant to be a bad comment, but It's understandable that looking out will be looking at the wall of next building and the hotel did everything they can to bring natural light into the room

Solo traveller stayed 5 nights. 10 minutes' walk from hotel to love river. 15 minutes' walk to night market or you can take MRT city council station ride 1 station to Formosa station. If you are taking MRT to the hotel get off at city council station just 2 minutes' walk to the hotel. Google was wrong to led me to central park station, took me 15 minutes' walk. However, a lot of shops around that side of central park station but the hotel is located on the other side. You can borrow a bicycle from the hotel to ride around the central park and along the love river. Breakfast acceptable. The room I stayed had no window. Near new hotel with free washing and drying machines for guest. I am happy to stay at this hotel again.

Our previous stays at the FX Inn have been great and we've never had anything negative to say.

This last stay at the FX Inn was not pleasant. The room smelled of smoke (especially at night), the water took a very long time to become warm (not hot), and the rooms are no longer cleaned as well as they used to be. That said, the staff are wonderful and the hotel is still a good bargain overall. It's hard to say whether or not we'd stay here again.

The only thing I am not happy is the house keeping service only give you one roll of toilet paper for the 3 night stay and the room design is a bit funny there is only one sliding glass door share between the toilet and the bath room so if you have 3 person in the room if one is bathing you slid the door to your side their one want to go toilet it can be seen.

Great location. Polite and efficient staff. Had a room for single and didn’t realise it’s a platform bed. I had the room at 701 and the mattress was too soft in the middle, sunk in from overuse. This caused me to have terrible lower backache from day 2 onwards but luckily the hospital is just opposite the hotel. Couldn’t change room cos they were fully booked. Staff was helpful and understanding though.

Worth the stay!

Only 3 minutes walk from MRT station. 7minutes walk to the night market. Hotel is very clean, which you can already feel it even in the lobby. Would like to make a special mention to the team in the cafeteria including the chefs, when they know we're vegetarians and staying for a few days, they made effort on serving different dishes of veggie everyday, a big thumbs up for that! Price is affordable, worth the stay!

Steps Away From MRT Station

Major plus point is the location of this hotel to City Council MRT Station. One station away would be Formosa Boulevard MRT Station which is right next to Liuhe Night Market.

Fare between the aforesaid 2 stations is free.

One odd thing though ~ hot water is sometimes not available for showering.

The location of the Hotel was good. the room was nice and modern with floor to ceiling windows. When we first walked into our room we noticed the smell of cigarette smoke in the room. This may have been from previous guests because the hotel is a non-smoking hotel. I am just surprised the cleaning staff did not notice the smell. The room above us was also quite noisy. When i made my initial review upon check-in with hotels.com the FX Inn said they were going to address it directly but we were never contacted throughout our entire stay. Based on the price the hotel, was good.

I walked right passed it while looking for the hotel. Sign wasn’t clear. Only when if I remember what the lobby look like. But over all great experience at this hotel. Is close to MRT and walking distance to nightmarket. Staffs were friendly and nice they have a safe inside your room.

Great hotel, comfy bed, small space but great location - close to Dome of Light & night market, less than $200 taxi to Lotus Pond & the old city so you can see a whole bunch of top attractions near by. Great WiFi. Shower took a while to get warm so let it run a bit before you jump in unless you like that sort of thing in the morning ;) Coffee bar in the lobby, and a great breakfast spot around the corner if you don’t want to eat in the hotel. Highly recommend this place.
