For the money, the upkeep and maintenance was less than desirable. Some rooms had a microwave and fridge, but ours didn’t. We were told by the staff we had to request that when we booked, but that was never stated to us when we booked. Overall, the experience was subpar.

The guy who check me in was not friendly, almost rude. i ask where the ice dispenser was and he replied its out there, and I ask again specifically where it was and he replied you will see it outside. I arrive around 7PM Friday and there was no coffee. the room I got was on the the second floor and two or three steps of the wooden stairs was wiggling. Parking inside was two tight, if your lucky to park on the inside and its almost full, you need to backup to the streets, the parking lot was dark The rooms are big but inside feels musky, the toilets don't have exhaust, water was strong but takes a wile to heat up.

As far as location, it can't be much better. We did find the room clean and comfortable enough. Needs updates, but served the purpose. I guess paying for the location, for the cost I would expect more. But I still can recommend.

Close to Yellowstone entrance with great dining close by within walking distance.

Outside wooden stairs split clear across, causing step to bend down. I almost fell. Absolutely no response from front desk when I brought it to her attention. Outdoor carpet on upper walkway is lumpy, which is a tripping hazard. Bedidng worn and outdated, carpet stained, drapes blocking a/c controls. It is in a good location for park access.

Close to NP entrance but rooms are old and smelled. Tried to open windows but none had screens. The carpet is rolling up everywhere and a trip hazard. Specifically booked here because I needed a fridge. Asked at the front desk and they said yes. Fridge was broken though and we lost all of our cold items because of it. There were no other fridges available. Expensive for what you get. I’d like to contact the manager.

Took several days to get additional pillows.

It's right on the main street through town, right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone, so very convenient. We walked to the shops and restaurants.

I looked online for an affordable place with a pool to stay. After I booked it and we were settled in I asked where the pool is? They said what pool? I said online it shows you have a pool.The beds are not comfortable and the shower head gets more water on the ceiling and floor than the person showering. It was better than sleeping in a car but not much.

This is an easy one star rating. The room was small and the furniture was very limited: we didn’t have enough furniture space to put our belongings. The description on Expedia was misleading: photos and descriptions showed microwave ovens and fridges but the room in fact had none. The AC was super loud and the heater emitted a strong smoky ordor that made me unable to sleep. We asked to change the room and got mixed responses from the staffs where one said it might be possible and another just declined it. To sum up, if you can, don’t book this place.

The property was in need of repairs, The bathroom vent and smoke detector were both missing. The air conditioner did work to cool the room, but not the bathroom. The Tv signal was not reliable enough to watch a show and motel parking is very cramped. The main thing this property has as a positive is the location for going into Yellowstone park and convenience for walking to restaurants and stores in West Yellowstone.

The website shows this motel includes microwave and refrigerator when I reserve the place. But the room did not include both when I checked in. The staff said I have to call them to preserve microwave and refrigerator, but no information showed up when I reserved the motel. The staff did not agree to change room. However we did have a roach crawl across the couch and our neighbors were literally moving out of their hotel room late at night and early in the morning. It was hard to sleep with the doors slamming constantly as they came in and out of the room for several hours.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. I don't think I've stayed in a worse hotel, and ironically, this was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in during our trip. Yes, it is conveniently located right outside of Yellowstone National Park. But that's where it stops. The floor was dirty, the shower was leaking, the beds were barely supported by some DIY plywood bed frames. Our room also didn't have a refrigerator, which was important to us so we could chill food and ice packs while we were at the park all day. Apparently some rooms have refrigerators, some don't, and the front desk didn't know why. When I asked if we could be moved to a room with a fridge, we were told that since we were staying there for several days, it would be difficult to change rooms, so we just had to deal with it. I know hotels in West Yellowstone are expensive, but don't go with this \"cheap\" option (we still paid $280 per night).

The room was not clean, the sheets had sand or something in them, the bed was hard and horrible. The shower head was like razor blades on your skin. The curtains were missing hooks and would not close. The frint desk person said nothing they could do to fix the curtains...but not to worry about our privacy because it was a safe town. They refused to give me contact information for the property manager or when the manager was going to be working next. They had an open outlet with exposed wires this place is very rundown and needing a lot of repairs the parking is horrible by our room area you had to back out onto the main street if the parking lot was full because it's only one way parking and there's no room to turn around.

No mini fridge, i was traveling with my insulin for diabetes. They were nice enough to put my ice packs in there freezer but i had to keep my insulin a plastic bag in a water bottle full of ice water for each night. The pillows and bed were horrible(flat, and old nox spring mattress with huhe indentation) I asked for and extra pillow and they had none. The front desk said they had no extras. The shower was and towels were clean but the shower had almost no water pressure and at one point we had to flus the toilet to start the shower. So plumming was funky.

we stayed at travelers lodge in montana and honestly it was amazing. everyone there was super friendly, chill, and just really cool. what made the biggest difference for us was that they spoke spanish. we were really worried because we don’t speak any english, but they made us feel comfortable right away.

we went as a couple and visited yellowstone national park – absolutely beautiful. if you’re planning a trip, definitely stay here. the people are kind, helpful, and welcoming.

also, right next door there’s this buffet spot that was so good. 10 out of 10. total win.

After reading some of the online reviews that complained about absolutely everything, we found none of that to be true. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the property. We weren’t expecting much because it was the cheapest thing we could find in the area and we just needed a place to sleep so that we could spend time in the park. Keep in mind that this is not a five-star hotel so don’t arrive with those expectations. We had a refrigerator, a microwave, a TV and the shower was equipped with both shampoo and body wash. There was an icemaker on the property and when we needed more towels, the office was quick to give them to us. There are plenty of places to eat around the property and within walking distance. And the downtown center tourist shopping was also within walking distance. When we got home in the evenings, we watched TV and while there were plenty of shopping channels, there was also lots of other channels to watch. The beds were comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. If you’re traveling on a budget, this is a great place to consider.

The room was very spacious and clean; however, it had an adjoining room door. Everything said in that adjoining room could be heard clearly and loudly. The disturbing noise lasted all evening and began again at 5:30 AM.
