Overall the staff was friendly. But had two issues. First issue was staff not very knowledgeable or helpful when there was an issue with the a/c. A women tried to help over the phone with setting it correctly. She was not able and told me she would go to a room, not the one I was in, figure it out and call me back. I never got a call back. It was either too cold or would shut off at night leaving the room warm and uncomfortable. Tucson temps are over 100 degrees now, including nights.
Second issue, when I dropped something on the floor, I grabbed some tissue to clean it up. The tissue was covered with hairs, not mine and dirty, which was pretty gross.
I've stayed here a few times over the past 3 years. I love the location, shops, restaurants and it's near family I visit. I always travel with my own cleaning supplies but never felt I had to use them here, until now.

Clean and spacious rooms, courteous and responsive staff, fitness center and pool were well maintained. My only two points of feedback would be to avoid having housekeeping keep the front door wide open when cleaning, as this let mosquitoes into my room. Also the outer curtains on the windows do not close, while the inner curtains are see-through, allowing people outside to easily see the inside of your room. Overall excellent value and afforadbility.

The hotel rate was very reasonable for the kind of room we got. Check-in was quick.

The return of room deposit policy is clearly designed for the benefit of the hotel. Returning a deposit does not require two weeks in the banking system. There seems to be a large difference in speed depending on the direction of travel of the funds. I would request that Expedia should ban this hotel for abuse of the privilege of preemptively holding funds for which no cause ever occurs.

We had high hopes for this room after seeing all the good reviews but were sadly disappointed. Our room was dirty--sheets were stained and the floors had not been vacuumed. It smelled so strongly of marijuana from the parking lot to our room, despite the strict no smoking policy. The primary upside was that the air conditioning worked, but it was in a separate room and had to blow through a vent in the wall in order to reach the bedroom, so it took awhile for the room to cool down.

The hotel's front desk staff are all very nice, especially Dianna. She was warm, kind, friendly. The gym is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. The room is super clean and comfortable. They think of all the all the details: fridge has a small freezer segment. The fridge is very cold. Bathroom is newly updated. Beddings are very clean and comfortable. The hotel situates in a very nice part of town. I paid $108 for two nights. It is the best value I have ever gotten. I can't recommend it high enough!

The parking is not great at this location and there is a lot of noise at night from the condition units from my room and neighbors rooms. Also the walls are very thin. The rooms are nice but small. Staff not as accommodating as most places.

If you need somewhere to stay, this is the place to do it, especially with a little kitchenette, and it gets really cold in there, and what I love so much especially when you’re in Tucson Az I also love Rena✌. She was the best. She helped us checked out. This was a very pleasant stay. I do recommend this place to everyone who needs a place to stay.

Not all amenities that were listed were in the room the site also does not inform you of kitchenette rooms being on a third floor or a first floor that would be very helpful to know in both rooms that I had stayed in they did not provide pillows or blankets for the fold-out couch and it would be very convenient if you offered some type of continental breakfast considering you're treating this hotel as a resort with your now needed wristbands to enter the pool

We sty here quite often when visiting family. It’s a great place to stay. Close to the family, restaurants, shopping and the freeway. It’s clean, staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only issue is time my other half stayed there and the put him in a handicap room. ( we have no handicaps It was a bit difficult using the shower and there were no closets to hang clothes.

We will stay there again but not in a handicap room. We like the hotel and the staff.

Too much perfume used in the room.
Bathroom could use more detail of cleanliness.
The accesscible/disability room bathroom has a strong smell of old urine. Disablity people are not able to keep their bowel and bladder at time because of the poor function of bladder and bowel at this time in their lives.
A lot more attention is needed for the bathroom cleaning, NO PERFUME to cover the smell.
Many of us are allergic to perfume odor. My head was stuffed and congested w/headached during my stay.

Love the 2 room suite. Appreciate c the fridge and micro. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I think it was the best value for what we paid. This is our fifth time going to this property. There's also plenty of places to eat nearby and to get groceries and snacks.

I always come here for work in Tucson.
Friendly staff, rooms are always clean, they have the AC already on before you get there. Great showers.
It's right next to "Cold Beers and Cheese Burgers"
Excellent Location. Microwave and mini fridge.
The only place I will stay at when having to do work while in Tucson. Very Consistent every stay.

I love dogs, so please don’t get me wrong. If you offer pet-friendly rooms, it makes sense to assign those rooms to guests traveling with pets. However, guests without pets should not be placed in pet-friendly rooms when other options are available, or at least let the person know before being given the room. Something like a nonsmoking room.

The room itself was clean, but the odor was very strong. It smelled like a pet store or an animal shelter, which made the stay unpleasant.

Our short stay was excellent. We appreciated the great service, cleanliness, reliable air conditioning, and the large refrigerator. The kitchenware and cookware provided made it easy to prepare meals, and the pool was very enjoyable as well.
For a couple, this place is a great choice. The rooms are a bit small, but everything is functional and well organized. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

First, this was not a room. It was small apartment with a kitchenette, sofa/tv and a separate bedroom/bathroom. Plenty of room to spread out.
Second, the pool area was large with plenty of space to relax.
Third, and maybe best, a friendly, welcoming staff. We arrived before the check-in time, and the young desk clerk got us into our room(s) to relax and freshen up before meeting friends for dinner.
All this makes this a wonderful place to stay.

We loved it, staff great and welcoming. Property kept up well but I will say the pool does get dirty and the filters need to be checked often as well as the pumps. Stayed here a few time and that was the only issue. Aside that everything else was great!

Quick check-in with experienced, capable and friendly staff. Property was fairly clean and well-maintained. Used the laundry and that worked just fine - and available 24/7. Room was clean and nice bed and pillows. Basically, a very nice hotel experience for a good value.
I also managed to leave something in the hotel room when I checked out. Later in the day when I came in to see if the item had been found and put in Lost/Found, it had not. I told the nice lady (Irene) at the counter about it and she went and tracked down the item which was in the cleaning staff's daily Lost/Found and had not been brought up to the front office yet. Big relief! Thank-you to the cleaning staff and Irene! [And, her shift ended as she was doing this task] Very nice!

It was a very nice room. The decor was inviting and it was very clean. I gave it a “good” rating overall because the pool opens late and closes really early. It was a bummer since that didnt give a lot of time to enjoy. Not a huge deal but once the pool opened, myself and other guests went straight in. About 15 minutes after, we were told that we needed to vacate the pool so they could clean it. Seemed like a very inconvenient time. Vending machines are crazy expensive. The small coffee machine was in the bathroom right next to the toiled, which I found highly unhygienic. Wouldn’t use it anyway but still seems wrong to put it in the bathroom next to the toilet. Overall, it was okay for the price.

We booked this day because it was a highly rated hotel at 9.3 and the facility looked very clean and well maintained. That’s about all we have positive to say. It was moderately maintained, however when we came to our room, the door was already opened, and there was a large black trash bag outside of our door. Also, it is not posted prior to purchase that you cannot have two vehicles on the property, and there is no overflow .,which is a huge inconvenience and risk of break in having to park elsewhere in this area. Since my brother and I are both in town for work, it was frustrating to hear this when I asked the office for a second parking pass. Moving forward It was frustrating trying to get the tv to work properly. However, not the biggest deal because we don’t watch much TV, but still. Furthermore I was honestly disgusted that the refrigerator and coffee maker are in the bathroom where people relieve themselves. This is just absolutely not sanitary to put your food or brew your coffee. I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years of staying in hotels. I cannot believe this place has a 9.3 rating. I wish I could get my money back. That’s how disappointed I am. I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt reason to leave a review, especially negative. I do not recommend this hotel.

The room was two double beds and a little sitting.Room was very spacious and comfortable. The room was one king bed and no extra sitting space was a little cramped especially for eating in the room, Beds were very comfortable. Upstairs room was extremely quiet, downstairs room.You heard occasional noise from the street.And other guests walking by, but not terrible. I would definitely come here again and for, it was excellent value for the very inexpensive price.

The hotel itself was very nice, our room was spectacular and the bed was very comfy. The pool and jacuzzi was great as well. What I'm not happy about is that when you check in, you have to pay a $100 security deposit by card only in which the staff said would be returned back to the card in about 3 business days. Well, it is now business day 6 and they still have not released the deposit. I called yesterday to make sure everything was okay (we caused no damage to the room, all we did was sleep and go swimming)to ask why they hadn't released it yet and was then advised that it can take 3-10 days to get it back. I'm sorry, but that is absurd in this day and age and absolutely not what they said when we checked in. As much as we liked this hotel, we probably wont book again due to this. In this economy every penny counts and is vital to people getting by. I now see this seems to be a common issue with this hotel based on reviews. Maybe they should reevaluate the system they use and accept cash deposits to combat their slow system. What a shame.

We love this place and whenever we go to Tucson to visit our Granddaughter we book our stay with "Three Palms." They are courteous, organized, quick to check in customers, and the rooms are so comfortable and clean. Another nice benefit is the workout room that we both use for our health! It is also very quiet and relaxing here and we sleep well in our room that has a fridge, microwave, iron/ironing board, and a coffee maker with enough coffee for two cups per day. I definitely recommend this place!

Their AC and refrigerator doesn't work properly - no one was at the front desk multiple times during the day. Had to toss our food, especially the fruits.

Shower doors are not sealed properly to the point it was leaking every time the shower was used.

Their iron doesn't even steam. It squirts instead. 😳

No refunds! Only because their general manager resigned. I wonder the reason is that the hotel is too cheap to not fix these issues. Especially for the rooms that were reserved by me and friends.

The fitness area was a great added bonus. Very nice equipment for a hotel gym. (Smith machine, cable machine, barbells, etc) hotel staff was super nice also.

This is the best place to stay when visiting Tucson. The property is wonderful. Huge pool and beautiful gym. The price is outrageously inexpensive. Where can you get a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen, separate bedroom and living room for $55.00 total per night.

This place is very nice and usually you would get a dump for $55.00 but certainly not this place.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Tucson.

This hotel is located in Oro Valley which is just like a suburb of Tucson. It is a great area with shops and restaurants within walking distance such as Whole Foods, Sprouts and Homegoods just to name a few.

Stay at this hotel. You won’t regret it or be disappointed whatsoever.

The property was really nice . The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well kept. We did not use the pool or the workout room, but we did take a look at them and they were in excellent condition. The pool area was nice and big and lots of seating. The only downfall about the pool area is that it is the only outdoor seating. It doesn’t open until 8am. We wanted to enjoy our free coffee (also a nice perk) while sitting outside. Fortunately for us, the lady at the front desk was nice enough to let us sit inside the pool area and enjoy our coffee. The bed was nice but a little uncomfortable for me. To put that into perspective I am having back surgery soon. Overall, we had a nice day and will probably be back.

Nice view. Comfortable bed. Big room with two tvs! Good water pressure and hot water for shower. Bring bottled water. They addressed a concern quickly. Didnt hear any neighbor sounds. Tricky to access driveway. Signs to identify where to turn might help. Plenty of parking. Starbucks etc nearby. Good value for the $. Shampoo etc was nice. Didnt realize it was a motel but no issues after initial concerns addressed. Would stay here again when i could take advantage of pool, putting, exercise room. No breakfast but i rarely eat hotel breakfasts anyways.

*I Loved this Hotel! Came down to Tucson for a H.S. Graduation. I got lucky with this 3 Palms location for 4 days. The Staff was great! The lady who took care of my room all week was a sweetheart!
