Room wasn’t as clean this time and that apartment unit was a bit janky.🙄 Overall I was not happy with my stay due to check in process that was changed from the last time and the room was not clean.

The location and common areas of this property were very nice. The room was terribly dirty, the carpet and furniture were badly stained and appear to have never been cleaned. The bathroom was very dirty as well, mold and paint peeling around the shower. Mirror did not appear cleaned and faucets, sinks had water spots. The balcony did not have any furniture and was also very dirty hand prints all over the sliding door and paint on the balcony walls. Disappointing.

The property itself was lovely, but the check in process itself made the whole thing not worth coming back. My flight was delayed so I got in around 10pm, the door to the building was locked with only a QR code on the door. It took 20 mins from me scanning the QR code to get a response back which prompted me to fill out a CC form. Once I submitted that, it took another 20 to get a reply. Once I was finally inside the building after almost an hour, the code they sent wouldn’t open the box where the room keys are. I didn’t get inside my room until almost 11:30pm.
The phone number you’re supposed to text, does not take calls, the security number listed is a 3rd party and cannot contact the property in anyway. Your only options if arriving late, is to hope that your texts go through and wait until they decide to reply

Tons of amenities and a large, useful space. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. My only complaint was with the traffic noise until 3am on popular nights for people to go out (Saturday night was the loudest).

Bedrooms in our two bedroom unit had carpet which should have been replaced years ago. The carpet was stained and dirty (beyond the ability to be cleaned I expect). The carpet should be replaced immediately. This is our only complaint in an overall wonderful experience

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They let me keep my suitcase there until check in. They also let me switch rooms so I could have a view of the mountain. They answered my questions about check out and were super attentive. Not to mention the place is really nice, the apartment rooms are great and great pool and hottub!

I liked everything about the place and my stay, with one MAJOR exception: At 12:30am my smoke alarm started chirping. There are high ceilings and there was no way for me to get it down. There is no one on sight and though I eventually got someone to text me back, they said there was nothing they could do until morning. They couldn't let me move to a different room. They couldn't get someone to bring a ladder. I just needed to deal with chirping (every 20 seconds), until morning. The next day I wasn't able to get confirmation that the smoke alarm battery was replaced until late afternoon and I was offered a $50 credit, which does not come close to making up for an entire evening where I couldn't sleep in my hotel room.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great being close to restaurants and entertainment. The main downsides were the lack of hangers, a coffee pot, and pool or gym towels. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the nightly rate was very reasonable. The furniture showed some wear, but it was sufficient for the amount of time spent in the room.

WiFi in our room never worked and we had to use another rooms and it didn’t really work. It was clean but the room could have been cleaner, over due for a deep clean and dusting, new carpet and re caulking in the bathroom. This did not ruin our stay by any means. No pool towels.

I stayed at this place, and on my second night, the key fob that was attached to my other keys (along with my AirTag) somehow fell off. Because it was after hours, I called dispatch. They gave us a number to text since you can’t call them after hours.
While texting, they weren’t able to help at all—they just said the receptionist would be back at 9. We had to sleep in the car because I didn’t have my belongings with me.
When 9 came around, they still weren’t able to make us a replacement key until the evening, although they did let us back into our room before then.
It was the worst experience ever, and I regret not just booking a hotel. If anything happens after hours, you’re practically on your own. I saw another review where someone else got locked out, so I know I’m not the only one.

Beautiful property and apartment. Check in and out process very well organized. Great location to shops and eating out. Everything within walking distance, nice not to have to use the car. Would have liked a little more transparency regarding the parking fee. It is a hefty fee for 1 day. This should have been more clearly displayed at the time of booking.

Do NOT stay here if you are arriving outside of reception hours. I arrived late and the code they gave me for the key cafe didn't work. Their only support is via text message and they repeatedly told me the same code and to enter it. I tried fir over an hour to make it work and it didn't. I had to then drive to find another hotel at midnight. The next day they told me that they had missed a number in the digital code. Expedia were excellent in organising the refund but it was a horrific experience as a solo travel to have to find a new hotel at midnight.

The Sential has long term tenants. It has an apartment vibe And not a hotel vibe. The carpet in the bedroom had lots of stains should be replaced or at least cleaned.The employees were very friendly and helpful. Great location to walk to the restaurants, old town and the mall. All in all this place is weird. Check-in takes forever. It is convenient to Fashion Square and Old town. The signage is poor. The parking is extra. The room is sparse and cheaply designed

Kitchen: not fully equipped. Had to request multiple items including pans, baking sheet, paper towel, dishwashing detergent, garbage bags etc. There were only two cooking utensils, no bowls for meal or salad prep. Only set of four plates so you need to constantly run the dishwasher if you have time or hand wash your dishes. The property wants you to always text and request items as opposed to stocking it for the duration of your stay. We stayed for 6 nights and it was painful to prepare meals and always request additional items. We even had to request a baking pan as it’s not normally stocked as per their manager. The response was quick however it is not helpful to consistently ask for items that should be standard. No tea towels either.

There are TWO elevators - one takes you to the 2nd floor lobby, whilst the other takes you to the 2nd floor parking garage where you must walk across the lot to the lobby entrance--**NO Signs displayed other than a small mention/notice you'd easily miss if not reading every sign encountered. !. Maybe sign in that elevator directing to lobby? 2. Sign in the exit area of elevator opening onto the parking garage? Elderly persons might find it confusing, ad walking out an exit door on the backside of the property leads to a long walk around to the lobby.

Took a flyer on the stay at the apartment complex instead of hotel. Was nervous bc pictures are usually deceiving. It was perfect. Everyone at the complex from check in to neighbors that live there were all just nice and congenial.
Within walking distance to great restaurants. And they have a nice hangout area in the 5th floor for a bit of scenic spots pleasure and there’s fire pits that we were able to light.

Very clean, modern and virtually touchless. Key fob gets you into room, elevator, pool area and all other amenities except parking. Parking was singular challenge-- requires app that is not intuitive but once acciunt is created, it was relatively easy. Minimalist kitchen A-OK for couple. REALLY close to Fashion Center, a huge variety of restaurants, and Old Scottsdale.

This is a newer facility in a great location and has the potential to be awesome. The furnishings are incredibly cheap and the mattress was unbearable. I would suggest spending a few extra dollars and staying in a hotel. We didn't have enough toilet paper and had 2 coffee pods for the week.

The apartment was spacious and very clean, the property is gorgeous, and the surrounding area is excellent with easy access to dining and shopping. The staff were kind and exceptionally competent. The room (2b2b) was sparkling clean with higher end furnishings. The common areas were impressive and vast! Nice private office spaces for one-on-one meetings and a group space. Bathroom, kitchen, laundry rooms were stocked with supplies (replenishable). Towels, linens, pillows were soft and above average. The pool, spa, and lounging area outside was very inviting with loveseat-like seating and covered lounge beds! The only complaint is that Sentral advertised a heated pool at this location but the pool IS NOT heated. Mid-December through March pool heat is a must. I would stay here again during months that a heated pool was not needed.

Stay away!!! Sentral left me stranded on the street overnight! Their lock box for keys was out of order when I arrived, and they do not have anyone on staff after 6pm (just someone to text with in Texas). Instead of having emergency procedures in place to provide an alternative way to access the apartment, they pretty much told me that I am on my own. I had to book an alternative stay at 4x the cost (last minute booking). When I asked to be compensated, Cedric at Sentral told me sorry, our mistake, but you you’ll have to bear the cost.

The fridge didn't work and after repeated talks to front desk for TWO DAYS, on the third day they repaired it BUT used one of my bath towels and tossed it in the laundry room! I looked all over for my spare towel. Worse yet was discovering I had been sleeping on URINE STAINED SHEETS the entire time! Loud banging when doors shut in the hallways all through the night. They seem amused to put you the farthest from the elevator so you have to hike it. No breakfast or anything of the sort on property, and you have to pay for coffee with zero sugar anywhere. Next time, a hotel for sure. :(

We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. It was fantastic and a reasonable price! I’m glad wasn’t swayed by the 1 or 2 reviews I read that said the front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. My experience was quite the opposite… they were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! This is not a traditional hotel (it’s apartments or condos that people live in, but some can be rented out for a few nights like a hotel), so yes, check-in and parking were a little tricky and a bit more time consuming, but really not that bad, I expected this from the reviews I read, so I was prepared and it went smoothly. They had sent me an email 2 days before my stay, with Pre check-in instructions, which, I did as instructed, and that helped the check-in go smoothly on my arrival. I would definitely stay here again!
