While our stay offered a clean, comfortable bed and a quiet room, this Hilton location lacked a couple of basic amenities. There was no microwave in ANY of the rooms (we even asked neighboring room friends) and so we were unable to heat up any food after hours (once the onsite kitchen/restaurant was closed). Even asking the front desk staff brought no resolution. Additionally, there was no water fountain or bottle refilling station on site. During certain daytime hours fruit infused water and water cups were offered to guests but it ended there. We were either forced to ration our “2 free 16oz water bottles per day” (which by the way, we were shorted a day…) or use tap water, or purchase on-site bottled water. We instead had to cross the street and shop at a neighboring store to purchase a reasonable amount of water to suffice our three night stay. During this stay, there was a dance competition event in which it felt staffing numbers were not increasingly adjusted so as to provide the demanding and busy service needs of the guests throughout this event.
While we “figured it out” during our stay, I feel as a Hilton, the amenities standards need to be raised instead of only the price point.

During a six night stay, housekeeping is not what I would expect from a Hilton especially in this price range. Housekeeping carts were in the hallway each morning. But our room was not made up until after 4pm each day. Inconvenient. They could use more staff. But maybe a lot of good ones have been scared off.

The walls in the Villas are paper thin - we could hear conversations, TV's, snoring, babies crying, people arguing, doors slamming, dogs barking, kids screaming, and a woodpecker hammering away very early each and every morning. All of the hard surfaces in the units do nothing to muffle the sounds coming from other units.
We didn't get into our unit until after 5:30 PM because (supposedly) it had been left very dirty by the previous people. Even then, we found popcorn under the sofa, no toilet paper, and just a small amount of toiletry products in the bathroom.

Renovated villa was exceptional! We loved it. Villa pool is a little lack lustre, but not terrible.

Price was high; but related to time of year and busy Scottsdale week.

Would have loved to eat breakfast on gorgeous patio outside but it seemed due to a conference in the patio next door, there wasn’t enough staff for that.

Location to golf, baseball and downtown Scottsdale was fantastic. Pool area was great. Would loved to have another option for food on site, but the pool bar food was fine for afternoons outside. Shower head a little outdated with crazy spray and low pressure.

Issue #1: A room with a king bed was booked, however, none were available during the time of check in, therefore we settled for a 2 queen room instead. The water in the bathroom sink and shower barely got warm and never reached a desired hot water temperature, even after letting it run for a few minutes.

#Issue 2: There was construction happening in the adjacent rooms beginning as early as 6am. Being awaken to noises of banging hammers and power drilling throughout the morning was quite upsetting. Had I been made aware of the situation, I would have never booked that room. I then contacted the front desk for awareness and was told that there was another room available on the other side of the property that did not have construction ongoing. After cleaning the room and unpacking our belongings just the night before, I repacked our things to change to the new room.

Issue #3: We received the keys to the new room located on the other side of the property, and once we stepped inside the room we noticed an extremely offensive odor. The only comparison that I could draw was of a scent of raw sewage, which immediately made us our stomachs turn. We left outside of the room and I headed back to the front desk and made the staff aware. I was then assigned to my third room, which was a much larger unit on a different floor.

Issue #4: Once inside, I was relieved to finally have a pleasant smelling room but then we noticed that the carpets had several unsightly stains.

Loved the privacy of our villa, and the great price! We stopped in for only one night, a stop-over on a road trip, but the villa was amazing, perfect for a great nights sleep for me and the kids, and loved to be able to text the front desk for extra blankets. Also, the room service was quick and delicious! Just what we needed after a long day on the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous! The only issues we experienced were 1) no bedding provided for the pull out couch and 2) the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, which made for a cold dash across the bathroom so I could grab the hand soap for washing up. Both issues were remedied by the hotel.

The AC was really loud. Restroom is very small. Door opens inward and there is no standing room. The staff walking around is not very friendly other than the front desk clerk. The bartender at the pool looked annoyed when I asked to place a food order even though it was empty and he had no customers. No signs for ice machine. Pool towels are worn out and super thin. I was not offered help with my luggage during check in. Lots of cigarette butts out in the room balcony. Shampoo irritated me and my kids eyes.

He made the perfect drinks and his customer service was beyond great. Even when he got super busy he always checked on us. The check in staff was great as well they were on top of everything So was the manger he took care of us when we had AC issues. Will be back again for a staycation.

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort! We loved every minute of it—from the beautiful pool and hot tub to the live music that added such a great vibe every day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the resort truly made our trip special.

A couple of small drawbacks: the outdoor courtyard was under construction during our visit, and on the one day we needed the shuttle, the driver wasn’t available. But aside from those minor hiccups, everything else was absolutely lovely. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed in a suite during my visit, and unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Upon arrival, I noticed used socks from a previous guest still in the room, which suggested a lack of thorough cleaning. The couch in the living room was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night, making it hard to sleep.

On a positive note, the staff was friendly and responsive—anytime I called, they were quick to come and address the issues. I appreciated their helpfulness, but overall, I was hoping for a more comfortable and better-maintained stay.

THE STAFF (ALL) was awesome!! The front desk crew was excellent! The hotel grounds are beautiful, well cared for, & guy on his golf cart shuttle continues around the hotel grounds…that made me feel safer as I was sitting outside for while, Starbucks coffee, outside pool had PLENTY of lounging chairs for all that were at the pool, clean rooms equipped with everything you need (lighted magnifying mirror, blow dryer, shamp/cond shower gel lotion Water pressure great! Left a tip for David at front desk - I’m sure he’ll get it they’re a good crew! Thank you!

One of my guests had a medical issue and was denied a roll away cot due to a fire hazard? The hotel offered no other accommodation for her and asked that we pay hundreds of dollars to upgrade to a villa. The main pool was swamped with kids and families from a dance competition that did NOT have pool access or a guest room. There was 2 big conventions that wiped out all the snacks and drinks for actual paying guests. Not enough pool towels or waters for paying guests. There were kids peeing and throwing up in the pool. The wait times to get a drink at the bar exceeded 30-45 mins and the bartender called me “sir” when I am clearly a woman. Our room never had enough towels and garbages were not emptied regularly. Highly disappointed with this hotel

Absolutely nothing like the advertisement and images online. The fact that they have a resort fee is comical. This is NOT a resort, it is a very entry-level hotel that needs a massive amount of updates. The first floor pool side room is a waste of money. Our \"patio\" area was covered with garbage and they even ran cable lines across our patio that ran to the pool. The room was like a $50 per night motel room.

The recently upgraded villas are lovely and spacious. They're a little bit of a walk away from the main building and pool, but not inconveniently so.
Cleaning staff were very accomodating of our schedule, and the few times we ate at the hotel the food was good.

Legitimately one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Wet sheets, moldy comforters construction. The name resort should not be affiliated with this hotel. The staff was less than helpful saying things like they lost their blender. When another person told us that not true that person just doesn’t like to make blended drinks. When I asked for extra blankets and things it took forever. The only saving grace is it had Flemmings in the hotel. But if I were Flemings, I would be embarrassed to be affiliated. I truly never review hotels. That’s how bad this was.
