Very disappointing stay. The room was extremely small — there wasn’t even space to place one suitcase. It smelled bad, was humid, and uncomfortably hot. I asked to change rooms, but the staff didn’t seem to care or offer any help. Be careful before booking this hotel.

I booked this hotel with higher price than other hotels because of the name “Delta Istanbul “. But when I arrived at the hotel, they told me that my room is not in Delta it’s in an apartment on the 4th floor without elevator.

It’s a very old building with narrow stairs. Carrying all the luggage’s to the 4th floor in that narrow stairs was a nightmare.

I wish at least Expedia gave some information about this is NOT the Delta hotel.

Upgraded to a suit which was in poor condition, window mechanism broken and safety catch detached from window.
Dual shower had only one shower working and had mould in ceiling.
Went to hotel reception and had very bad attitude from the person in charge.

I would definitely not stay here again and would recommend Hotels.com to remove them from their listing

Very tight rooms hardly any room for your suitcase shower floor was leaking outside the area of the shower cubicle i had to request change of room as the toilet was so tightly packed between walls also another door joining the next room could hear everthat was going on even when they was bonking mad couldn’t sleep complained to reception kept on saying rooms are full even though i seen rooms empty only changed a room when i told them about the sex noises that has a door to next room when i raised my voice thats when they quickly gave me a card for another room
They dont supply water in rooms to drink or any tea bags etc you have to buy everything the breakfast isn’t breakfast only boiled eggs and chips served in morning every morning then theres the salad ( think they thought rabbits are staying ) very disappointed will not stay here thats for sure

The bathroom need to be renovated , water leaking from under the shower door, cannot hang the shower handset on the wall, i went to the front desk and told him , when i return in the evening it was fixe.
They do not understand the meaning of the term DO NOT DISTURB , even the light do not disturb is on , the lady enter and clean the room anyway .... happened twice

BASIC...BUT VERY WEAK WIFI!!!

The hotel wasn't so difficult to access. However, they didn't have my booking, although they let me stay after I showed them my hotels.com transaction.

The room was small but clean.

What Disappointed me ALOT was the VERY WEAK WIFI in the room. I had to go to near door or to the reception to access wifi. I believe that the most vital component of a hotel for a foreigner is Internet connection.

The breakfast menu was basic with not much variety.

If you want a clean place to rest with a clean comfortable bed, go for it....If you use your wifi to get around and do your work or get in touch with peeps back home....Try another place.

It is not a 4 star hotel

I arrive to the hotel at 6:30 am in the morning,
I ask the person in the reception if the room i reserve in exepdia.com is ready , he tell me the room is empty but you need to wait for cleaning .
After 25 minutes the receptionist tell me that he is going and the other employee give the key of the room after 15 minutes and go.
When the other employee come , and at the same time a group from 11 girls come .
After half hours i ask him if the room is ready , he tell me to wait , and i see the rooms go the girls , when i ask him about this matter and why the girls take the rooms , he tell me to wait and your check-in to the room at 2 PM o'clock and you need to wait .
This is a bad thing when employee change the law for 11 girls and use it this law on me.

We got a room for 3 night, it was quite small for 2 people.However, the worst was the bathroom; its door is a slide door that gives 0 privacy; the bathroom has a shower window to the room, so if you are having a shower whoever is sitting in the room can see you in there, it's not transparent but you can see through it; again small bathroom and room in general.
It also was quite noisy outside and the window didn't close properly. All rooms are small for the number of people to stay in it.

At first we stayed in the room number 114 (this thing can be called anything except a room)
Extremely small room we cannot even move inside with a view of the outside units of the AC.
The smallness of this room caanot be describeq.
The staff helped us after we asked them to change the room

Small hotel in middle of clothing aksaray

Overal by turkish standard this hotel was ok,services are not that old somewhat clean but its on busiest part of town(aksaray).all the clothing wholesale shops are next to hotel,metro is across the street tram van is on walking distance not bad for the price,only bad thing since is affordable you'll see some....people witch they make you uncomfortable.
If you are going for shopping get it
If you're going for vacation may be more expensive hotel on fancier part of istanbul would work out better.

The hotel is on a good condition with good and clean rooms
But the staff are very rude and greedy
We booked an extra room for one night and it turned out to be a double room so the staff asked us for extra money for an extra bed. He took 20$ and gave us a mattress on the floor as he doesn't have any extra beds!!! When we complained he said there is nothing he can do and he took the money.
The breakfast is not that great and whenever I ask for something they say we don't have it.
The night receptionist is very rude with long face and he treats customers differently .
I've asked to speak to the manager but they refused.

Very comfortable hotel!

Stayed one night at the hotel. Loved the breakfast buffet, and the staff was also very helpful at a late hour re: recommendations for sightseeing. This hotel definitely helped make my one-day visit to Istanbul memorable in a good way. :)

Nice little hotel in a neighbourhood that's not overly touristy. Lots of Turkish tourist but not many foreign tourist. Rooms are well decorated modern and comfortable. However our room was very tight spaced. Bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast got a little boring after second day. There's a nice bakery just outside which is an option. Liked the selection of hot drinks during breakfast. They do try to make little changes to the breakfast everyday. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July while we explored Istanbul. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel considering how little it cost us to stay here. It's located only a couple of minutes from the main tram line so makes getting to the big tourist hot spots extremely easy.

Enjoyed my stay at The Delta

I stayed at the Delta June 7th-12th. The staff there is fantastic they helped line up my tours and helped me with all of my needs. The rooms are very clean , comfortable with great bathrooms and showers. The breakfast at the top level is fantastic with a great view included in the price. Hotel is in a great location a block from the metro which I very easily used to and from the airport. Also many shops , places to eat and cafes all around the hotel.
Easy 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. I very much enjoyed my time there and enjoyed sitting in the lobby having a free coffee and talking with the guys working the desk and coffee bar. Looking forward to a return trip to Istanbul and the Delta Hotel !

Long weekend in Istanbul

Good location, almost walking distance from Hagia Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Palace and Topkapi. Also tram and underground stations very near the hotel. Easy to get from/to the airport by underground. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood. Nice, clean room, good bedclothes and towels. Very small elevators. Standard breakfast. In common I can warmly recommend.

Nice Hotel -- Demand a Room with Window!

The hotel was pretty nice. The neighborhood is very live, full with many clothing shops and street vendors. My hotel room was nice, however, I had no windows. It kind of felt like I was in a prison but I was still comfortable nonetheless. I was told I could check the next day for a room with a window. I didn't bother. I feel that is something the hotel should attempt to accommodate for me without my asking/checking. The bathroom was nice but upon entering it, there was a lot of water on my floor and my shower head was broken which lead to water spraying above the shower door. I would stay again if I had a room with windows and non-broken shower head. The hotel is about a 3-5 minute walk from a metro stop which is nice. The breakfast provided in the morning was OK but the view of the city is even better from the top floor!

Hotellin sijainti on meille loistava. Olemme käyttäneet ko. hotellia jo viitsen vuotta. Tällä kertaa kohdallemme osui varmaankin hotellin pienin huone ja jotkin huoneen irtaimistosta oli huonossa kunnossa. Ikkunasta veti kylmää ja sänky oli sen välittömässä läheisyydessä. Onneksi ei ollut pakkasta. Pitäisi aina muistaa ottaa työkaluja mukaan niin olisi helppo laittaa huone kuntoon.
