What a lovely place to stay, the rooms are recently renovated and are so stylishly decorated and of a very high standard. Temperature of the room easily controllable, tea and coffee making facilities and lovely touches with high quality hair dryers, lovely smelling toiletries, female hygiene packs, fresh milk rather than little plastic cartons, delivered fresh to your room in the morning. What would make it absolutely perfect and this is me being picky as i travel a lot for work would be a full length mirror, a vessel to collect water from the cooler machine on the corridor other than a glass and i recently stayed in a little boutique hotel that provided homemade shortbread biscuits - now that would be the icing on the cake. Would i stay here again absolutely, the staff are so friendly and obliging, its easy to park and a beautiful place to be in. Given all the floors are hard so no carpets it didn't feel cold and uninviting wish everywhere i stayed was like this! You should be proud Wainstones.

We stayed here for a night and it was a lovely experience. Charlotte on the desk was welcoming and the staff were all really friendly. The hotel has just had a refurbishment and it looked great. The evening meal was brilliant as was the selection of gins! This hotel is amazing for people travelling with dogs. Our dog was made welcome with his own bed and pamper package!

It's a little bit tired but clean and tidy, close to a couple of pubs in the village and there is a good choice of options at breakfast. I thought it was very good value for money and would come again.

Had a beautiful , spacious and very comfortable 4 poster double/king sized bedroom. Breakfast options were extremely varied and plentiful, both cold and hot choices. Good to see fresh fruits avaliable quality local.produce sourced. Dining room very attractive; staff warm, hospitable but very efficient. Only gave 4 stars for property condition because it is undergoing a major refurbishment, some furniture and furnishings a little tired, but nothing to impact negatively on our stay. Certainly no noise or disturbance, although it was the weekend. Im sure it will be stunning on completion. Meanwhile, excellent value for money.

Staff were very accommodating when it came to dietary requirements. Meals were excellent. Was given a free upgrade to a better room when I arrived which was very nice and had everything you might expect including free WiFi. Great Broughton had nothing but another inn and houses but there was a nice walk by the 'big river' (I can only suppose the person who told me about it was being ironic 😆) and a longer public footpath that took you through fields.

This country hotel in Gt. Broughton is a very nice place to stay, the double room I stayed in was very clean and the bed very comfortable to sleep in. The evening food and breakfast menu choice is also very good, all the hotel staff and management are very polite and friendly- I would highly recommend the Wainstones Hotel

The bed seemed really small for a double. My beautiful lady friend is tall and also pregnant. She could not get comfortable and did not sleep very well at all.

The bathroom looked fairly new and was nice and clean.
Although the wifi signal was strong, the internet speed was extremely slow (around 1 mbps)
Food was nice in the evening and breakfast was ok however the cutlery and glasses did not look very clean.
My partner also found a small piece of metal on ther plate amongst her food. It looked like it was maybe from a metal scouring pad. A replacement breakfast was offered but this had already put her off her food.

Due to the corona virus the hotel was quiet but the staff were excellent, constantly cleaning everything. Food was brilliant and choice of beers, while not extensive was good. I had a lovely evening and would stay again without hesitation.

We have stayed here a few times recently at short notice. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet; the staff are friendly and very helpful; the hot water pressure is awesome; the location is fab; and the food is wonderful: generous portions of good quality, Yorkshire, traditional cooking adjusted to a modern palate (i.e. veg al dente etc). Value for money is unrivalled!

At this point, we went back to our room, packed and went home! My wife has emailed the hotel a couple of times (so far) since, and they haven't even had the decency to acknowledge the emails.
