Quaint & cozy stay in the quieter area of Venice. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. Close to the train station. Hotel arranged a water taxi (about 5min) upon arrival and a porter to carry our bags on 10 min walk back for departure. Breakfast included.

Lovely staff here and beautiful rooms!!! We really enjoyed the breakfast offered also. The beds were comfy and supportive, which I don’t often find when traveling. It’s nice quiet location that’s easy to navigate from to explore Venice. It’s also close to the bus stop to travel to and from the airport via bus. They are surprisingly nice! These are not your typical city buses. I would definitely come back and stay here if I have the chance.

The AC was wonderful, and they also provided a fan for us. The pillows were perfect! We enjoyed the full breakfast and coffee in the lovely courtyard each morning, and the staff was so helpful with my wife’s food allergies, bringing her special gluten free breads and non-dairy (oat) milk. 10/10 we’d stay here again!

The beautiful bar area and happy hour was an unexpected delight and our complimentary welcome drink was 5* service. The room (double with garden view) was immaculately clean and stylish and extra touches such as complimentary toiletries,robe and slippers, bottĺed water, nespresso machine with pods and milk, and safe took our stay to a 5* level. The breakfast choice and quality was amazing, with eggs cooked to order and honey straight from the honey comb - this hotel is a hidden gem with canal views and original architectuŕal interior features. It is conveniently a 5 minutes walk from Piazzala Roma, and a scenic 20 minutes walk to St Marks Square. If (and when) I visit Venice again, the Hotel Moresco would be my first choice again and again.

This is a fantastic property and very well run. The breakfast was terrific - be sure to ask for eggs if they forget to offer - and cocktail hour lovely. The day staff were friendly and helpful. The man on the evening shift, however, was almost unpleasant when we asked him to cancel a dinner reservation (an hour in advance) that they had made for us earlier in the day. Not sure why this was an infraction? FYI!

Great płace to stay for a few days or longer. Great vibe, close to bus station, railway and taxi. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast on site. If you take breakfast box it could be a bit reacher.

This hotel was a 10 minute walk from the station (SL) although a couple of walking bridges were a little inconvenient. Very easy for those training in and out. Took public ferry to Piazza San Marco (10 min) and viewed important bridges and Grand Canal. Walked back to hotel - easy and low stress. Would take 30 odd minutes if direct but we took our time and ate on the way. Really very pleasant indeed. Hotel was driendly and service was great.

this hotel is super nice. They offered us a welcome drink (a lot of choices) and pastries and allowed us to check in early. The breakfast is very good and they even make eggs for you. The room is decorated very beautifully. The bathroom has warmed towel rack and three types of shower head. The bed is comfy as well. Location is very convenient yet quiet.

This was our second time staying at the Hotel Moresco. The hotel is closer to the bus station and can be a longer walk to the famous sites, however I would rather walk a shorter distance with my luggage than drag it up and down steps and thru the crowded Venice streets. Water taxis are an easy way to reach the hotel, too. The hotel is lovely inside, beautiful rooms, lovely common area. Good breakfast and Happy Hour. The value can not be beat while there is no sacrifice to luxury. !We would always stay at Hotel Moresco while in Venice!

A wonderful stay made better by little details
We saw the great rating and jumped at the chance to stay here. When our train pulled into Venice it was pouring and by the time we got to the hotel (less than a 10 min walk) we were pretty soaked. But as soon as we walked in we forgot all about it. They took our passports and directed us to the lounge for a welcome drink and some pastries, and encouraged us to take our time while they checked us in. When we finally finished they accompanied us to our room where we found our bags waiting for us and they had even taken our jackets and hung them to dry. The service is friendly, the room is comfortable and the details are like this the whole stay. They have a nightly happy hour in the lounge where if you order a drink you can help yourself to finger foods, little sandwiches, salames etc. Beyond that the hotel is very classically decorated and has a nice garden. It’s close to the train and the Piazzale Roma (for buses and water taxis) but walkable to the main sights. Would definitely recommend!

The location was extremely convenient for access to both the train station and airport shuttles. Do not overlook this aspect as there are stairs and bridges throughout town that we were able to avoid. There is also easy access to water taxi stations to explore town and other islands. The property is beautiful and well kept. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay from our arrival to departure. The hotel is really in a great location. It's away from busy areas which makes this a great location to stay yet it's still close enough to walk to all the main areas of interest. We had a canal view room and it was spacious and beautiful. The staff including Vincenza and Barbara go above and beyond and treat you like a friend. Nothing is too much trouble. Vincenza emailed us all the options of how to arrive and arranged this for us. She called us in the airport arrivals to let us know a change in pier for picking up the boat. We were given really good directions for attractions and Barbara even telephoned one to help arrange this. Vincenzo booked our dinner reservation. A gentleman on the desk knew who we were and greeted us by name and knew our room number and carried our bags out to the water taxi.
When we left the hotel, we took a water taxi to the port to pick up our ship, my husband left his phone on the water taxi. I telephoned the hotel and Barbara arranged extremely quickly for the boat driver to come back to the port, I thought, an impossible task for her to find him in Venice. Barbara then telephoned me to check we had received the phone. We were so grateful.
