The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast is offered. You do get a discount at the restaurant next door Toulouse, but it's expensive. There are a lot of breakfast options in the town. Parking gets difficult in the evening. The lobby area is welcoming (comfortable furniture, nice coffee / hot chocolate machine, board games). They offer smores in evening with 2 firepits to enjoy them. There is a heated pool and hot tub. The pool is deep, so keep an eye on kids that are not good swimmers. The pool temperature was good, and they offer pool towels. We met some friendly guests while at the hot tub. There is a private beach (not part of the hotel) near the hotel (less 10 minutes walking; parking available next to the entrance). Entry to the beach is an additional cost but discounted entry is available at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location was perfect. Away from the main drag but close enough to walk up to it and walk down to the water. Quiet and comfortable bed. The pillows were not to my liking so I will bring my own the next time. The room was a good size and clean, and it had all these wooden hooks on the wall which we found to be very handy for keeping items off the floor.
All the staff were nice and helpful. We enjoyed the little smores kit they give to use by the fire pit. The Toulous restaurant right next to the property had one of the best breakfasts and was pet friendly.

An OKAY place. Walkable and convenient to the Heavenly Village area and the "beach." But while the rooms resemble the pictures online, as often happens reality is not as sparkling at the internet. The room was... fine; the bed just okay, and the sheets and pillows not great. Best thing about it was the shower. Would we stay here again? Eh, possibly.

I loved the atmosphere of this property. A cool boutique hotel with that whole Tahoe vibe. The lobby couch and a fire in the fireplace, add in a good book and relax or share a complimentary drink together. The outdoor fire pits, seating area, and corn hole that are ready to go. I especially enjoyed the pool and taking advantage of the spa after a sunset walk on the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable and included all the amenities. The staff were kind and helpful. I wasn't able to make it to the restaurant next door but hope to in the future. My room was on the outside of the property and while I was concerned if it would be dark or noisy, that wasn't the case. Stateline and Heavenly are just up the road. I would definitely come back to this hotel again.

The hotel doesn’t provide housekeeping services until after checkout and no mention is made of that upon checking in. We noticed it in small print on printed hotel map after settling into our room. We had to find ways to dispose of trash over a 5-day stay. Otherwise our seat was fine and staff was helpful and nice.

But listen - seriously. It hardly sounds like a problem. The place is a delight and such a $ deal. I hope you pick this place, whoever you are.

We had a great time a great summer stop for the price. It's an older motel, the lighting in the rooms is awful. However the outside grounds,fire pit and pool were great! The kids had a blast in the pool. We'd go back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that they offered coffee, tea and fresh water for your thermos in the lobby plus there was a microwave for general use. They even have board games to check out and sometimes they offer a movie night. The location is very close to Stateline and also an easy walk to an ( unfortunately) private beach. Luckily, hotel guests can use the beach after 5:00 PM.

The rooms are clean and have what you need. They are not large, but we spent so much time outside, they were more than sufficient. There is good desk for working remotely, and we have mountain views. The bed was very comfortable with top quality sheets. Internet was good, 10 score walkability, heated outdoor pool. I would highly recommend the Station House.

The location of the Station House Inn was great. The pool and hot tub were an added benefit. There was a slight inconsistency in the quality of the staff. Some of the front desk people were awesome, and others were not. There was also an inconsistency in the pass for the Lakeshore Beach. One front-desk person gave a woman a free pass, but we had to pay $15 each. That made me feel a little weird. By the way, Lakeshore Beach access is worth the $15 if you want to enjoy a sandy beach and maybe a dip in the lake; however, I would NOT go to the grill. The food was terrible and overpriced. We ordered a watermelon salad and shrimp tacos. They were out of the mozzarella for the salad, so it was just a big bag of Costco kale salad mix with a few pieces of watermelon ($25), and the cook did not de-vein the shrimp (gross), and the tacos were drowning in a chipotle mayo sauce ($25). I also found the service to be lacking, but that seemed to be common in Lake Tahoe. Overpriced food and bad wait staff.

The Station House was perfect for our quick get away. We were surprised by what it offered for the price. We were kindly greeted, offered a free beverage and even a s’mores kit for the multiple fire pits. The facility was nice and it was a great walking location to many things including the beach. We had a great time here. You can’t beat the location, the lobby is really nice with water on tap and coffee. We used the pool and hot tub, and you can check out towels at the front desk. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, but we didn’t use the pillows because they were very very fluffy and hurt your neck.

Made our reservation at 10:40AM. At 4pm they sent a msg they had overbooked (of course AFTER they had already charged us). Nope! They offered a much lesser room at a sister site (same fee). Nope again! Poor poor customer service! Do NOT recommend. They kept us on hold over 30 mins to not even say I’m sorry.

The complimentary s'mores kit and welcome beverages were nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bed was too soft for us which made it hard to sleep. The room we were in was a bit "quirky" -- old-fashion looking lights and army green paint on the walls and bathroom tiles. Overall we felt it was a bit dark in the room and the bathroom. The shower water pressure was excellent. It's fine for an overnight or a crash pad while skiing or doing water sports. I don't recommend the hotel for a romantic getaway.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It has so much character and has very nice wooden cabin inn vibes. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They have great amenities like a nice pool, fire pits, and board games. The location is also perfect. It’s two blocks from the beach and two blocks from Heavenly Village where all the shops are. It’s easy to walk to many places directly from the hotel. The staff was also incredible and super friendly. Great hospitality. I would stay here again the next time I visit.

This place is a perfect spot to explore the Southlake Tahoe area with ease. The beach is just a short five minute walk and the pool area is super chill. I slept peacefully in a super comfy bed with nice bedding. Staff were knowledgeable and provided local recommendations for hikes and more. Def coming back!

We were pleasantly surprised with our great stay at Station House. I believe the Inn underwent an update in the last couple of of years and has that “Boutique Lodge” vibe. A few wear and tear spots…but, I truly believe management is trying to to maintain and keep it in good condition. The front desk missed informing us of all the great amenities they had to offer upon check in. I learned of the complimentary s’more set up and fire pit, movie night on Thursdays and Fridays & beverage service in the lobby through the reviews here. We also didn’t realize there is a lovely beach within walking distance ( The HOA charges an entrance fee starting Memorial Day weekend)

The only issue was their internet. On multiple devices, I only got about 8-10 Mbps (super, super, slow), and a come-and-go signal at multiple places, room, pool, outside area. Great place overall, but if the internet is very important to you, call them first to see if anything has improved.
