My husband and I stayed a couple nights here for his birthday, checkin was was easy and we enjoyed the extra treat of our choice of beverage; either craft beer, soda, tea or hot chocolate. Our room had been recently renovated and had a very cozy cabin feel too it. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever had, mega bonus points (to us for that). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was heated and even though it was April it was the perfect temperature to enjoy, as well as the hot tub. The location was convenient with a short walk to the beach or the Heavenly Resort for food, shopping and entertainment. We will definitely come back again, next time with the kiddos!

Great location. Close to the lake and to the main strip. Staff was friendly. Only issue we had was I had to call and request for another bath but got a voicemail and I left them a message. No one returned our phone call. Ended up walking down to the front desk to get another bath towel. Other then then that it was good.

The front desk was so informative, and the complimentary beverages was such a great touch. The room was charming, furnished to meet the overall vibe of the property. The only issue was with the shower, as you had to reach in to turn on the water, and were likely met with ice cold water until it had a chance to warm up, and the fans were a little on the loud side. But would definitely stay here again, if i'm ever in the Tahoe area.

This hotel is such a hidden gem. The community areas are so nice, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The room even had heat lamps in the bathroom for when you get out of the shower - I’ve _never_ seen this in a hotel, let alone a budget one.
My only complaint is the walls are quite thin. If your neighbors are watching TV or getting freaky you _will_ hear it.

The location is great. That's about it. It's a simple motel room, nothing special. We stayed for 4 nights. The first day we returned to the room the room key didn't work. The second day, no hot water for the shower. The third day we requested room service because they don't do daily room service and they never came.

Parking was very easy, staff was kind and professional at check in. We were offered a welcome drink which was nice. We stayed two nights, the first night our neighbor was very noisy but the building got quiet after about 11:00pm. We were upstairs and could feel in the floor if folks were walking by, at one point someone ran by and shook the whole room. Would probably ask for a ground level room next time. Access to heavenly was great. A very easy walk, maybe a half mile to 3/4 mile to the shops from the inn. Room was clean, bed was very soft and plush but comfortable. Coffee maker and small fridge in the room. Overall we had a good experience and we slept great. Would stay there again.

Very cute and simple place. The grounds were very nice and well kept. Even though we didn’t get to use the amenities they looked nice and well maintained. The room was clean but nothing special. It didn’t have a microwave or a phone to call up to the front. The employees in the breakfast spot at the hot were not were nice though and treated us like serving us was a burden. Which was unfortunate cause the food was good there. Overall I’m not sure I would stay here again considering the other properties in the area.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Station House Inn and we have loved it both times. The camping room decor is really cute and you can tell that the property as a whole is taken care of with love. You also can't beat the location, so close to the Heavenly Gondola and all that is around it.

We had the BEST first experience at the Station House Inn! Our room was clean and thoughtfully planned with plenty of hooks/hanging options, lighting, and space, and the staff was friendly, inviting, and helpful. The Station House Inn was conveniently located within short walking distance to Heavenly Village and all the restaurants/shops at state line. During our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub (perfect for relaxing after a travel day), the fire pit and complementary s’mores kit (a sweet treat to end a long day of fun), and our complementary beverages to start the getaway off on the right foot! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful? I think not. 9.2 rating, on what scale; out of 100? The Station Hotel Inn is an old motel that has had an economical light refresh. It is old, the rooms are dated, except for the off brand artisanal products and the direct from China woodsy tchotchke that dot the room. The bed is not comfortable and they have four pillows, all of low quality and same firmness and thickness (hey SH, there should be a variety of thicknesses and softness, that is why there are four of them.) In no world is this a 3 star hotel, try 2 stars at best. The rooms are very quiet and a decent sleep was had because I was dead tired. If you are looking for a no frills experience, then you found it here. Not a good thing, not a bad thing, it just is what it is. You will be disappointed when you arrive based on the pictures, I know I was. Owners/mangers, please do not reply to my post. The facts are the facts, your property is dated and cheap. I would recommend embracing it...

We stayed here to ski and the advertised 3-minute walk to the gondola was actually 10 minutes uphill, which is a haul in ski boots and with gear. Station House Inn is such a gem! They welcome you with smiles, a glass of wine or a can of beer, provide you with great local recommendations, and a cozy area to hang out. The room just makes complete sense. Lots of space to hang all of your winter gear, a full length mirror, comfortable bed, plenty of charging ports, and personalized scented shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion by STI! Lastly, it was such close walking distance to Heavenly gondola and the bus drop off/pick up. Loved this place and will recommend to anyone who prefers local accommodations vs huge hotels.

We had a wonderful stay. At first we were like its a little outdated, but once inside, it was really nice. I had a good sleep on a very comfortable bed and the pillows. Oh the pillows! I even told my partner, i wish i looked at the brand of those pillows, coz its hella comfortable. The entire room is so nice and cozy, decorated with nice and very interesting furniture. I think the one impress us the most is the front desk, Stacy at the desk is just above and beyond. She is such a sweetheart. She made our stay wonderful. In addition, not to mention they have good breakfast in the morning. :)

The roomy king had plenty of space for our snowboard trip and felt clean and comfortable. We appreciated the heat lamp option in the bathroom and the many wall hooks to hang our snow apparel. The bed is on the softer side. Our room was on the ground floor beside the staircase, so Saturday was quite noisy all night hearing other guests use the stairs. Luckily I brought earplugs and Sunday night was quiet.
