The Hamilton House Inn is a small family run hotel. It is a quaint, quiet little hideaway on Main Street in West Monroe. Sean and Rose take excellent care of their guests and serve an amazing breakfast! Home away from home!

The room was clean and in excellent condition. Even while it was blistering hot outside, the entire inn was cool and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy and the room had a beautiful view of the historic downtown area. Breakfast was served exactly to order with hot coffee. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions. Over all it was a wonderful evening and morning, and I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area.

Property was beautiful, nice bed. Only issue was a festival was going on down in the area and the streets were blocked off. It wasn't the fault of the Inn management, apparently city officials made it difficult to access the location due to street closures. Finding a place to park was crazy...three blocks away. Before booking it would have been helpful to know the situation prior to arrival.

I don’t usually give reviews but Hamilton House was truly exceptional. The rooms are incredibly clean. There are plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast is prepared fresh….no powdered eggs or cereal. You will feel like you’re at home only better! Highly recommend!

Just what I needed for a short less-than-24 hour-stay. An email before getting there would have been nice, but I pulled up, read the sign on the door and called the number listed. Call was immediately answered, which is when I was given access codes and instructions. Quaint room and neat building. Found everything I needed in the kitchen for the evening (ice, hot water). I wasn't there long enough to experience the area, but the Inn is on a street with a lot of shops that would have been fun to explore had I had time. Only complaint would be that there was no body soap/gel for the shower. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived late, but were able to easily check in at the front door and get into our room. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Good water pressure and temperature, comfortable bed. I had a fantastic time staying here. It's a small Inn in an old building with no elevator, but I found it quite charming and a comfortable place to stay while we were in town visiting relatives. It felt like home. You walk up the staircase to a beautiful open landing that was warm and welcoming. There was a front balcony and a very large back deck. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable. I loved the claw foot tub in the bath room....felt like home. There was a shower as well for those of you that don't get excited over claw foot tubs. We were treated to a home cooked breakfast and there were soft drinks and snacks you were welcome to in the kitchen. I wish we had not had somewhere to be so we might have made use of the sitting area off the kitchen which not only had a big TV but comfy seating and for cooler weather a gas fireplace. Loved it all!
