This hotel is a nightmare. My belongings were stolen, including my phone and cash. The people at the reception didn’t care at all. I felt trapped and terrified. I had to beg to use a phone just to contact my family for help to leave. Never stay here — it’s unsafe and dishonest.

The property is awesome, in a great location, always clean, great staff and security, nice quiet rooms, updated rooms and bath, with a perfect bed. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because of the breakfast. Breakfast is to start at 6a, but when we arrived today between 6a-6:30, the food was still being set up for the buffet. Not even half the food, so the choices were slim as we couldn't wait. The drinks, water or juice were not available, the juice still had to be made, so that delayed being able to start eating. I love staying at the Samarons, but it's always the breakfast that holds it back.

Amazingly Nice

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and had two sitting areas. Bathroom had a nightlight which was a thoughtful feature. Room service food was quick, reasonably priced and very good. Breakfast buffet was good. Housekeeping staff were very thorough each day.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in my life. I booked for 6 nights and couldn’t stay there because of I found hairs all over from bathroom tub to bed. Also smoke everywhere omg the lobby was full of smoke too this was insane. After talking to the frontal desk they agreed to refund my unused 5 nights and Omar promised to process refund with Expedia. Lies lies they refused to give my money back and until now. The hotel claims to be a 5 stars and once you get there you’ll see that their stars was taken away. The booked a suite and was given suite 305 the bedsheet feel itchy because I got there at 7pm couldn’t leave the same day. I ended up finding another hotel and left first thing in the morning. The hotel did not honor their promise to refund the remaining 5 nights. BECAREFUL PURE SCAM.

We were stranded in Tunis!! :(

Me and my husband booked two nights with this hotel. Due to our flight being late we could not book into the hotel on time on the first day. We tried to call the hotel but no answer, we also tried to call hotels.com but as a British number kept taking our credit. We got to the hotel after an awful travel experience to find that the bed we should have been sleeping in at that very moment was booked for someone else and there were no more rooms for us. Because we didn’t check in on the first day our entire stay was cancelled by the hotel and we were not allowed a refund either. At that moment we were exhausted and furious because we couldn’t have a refund for a hotel stay that we didn’t even have, we were more concerned that it was 12pm at night and there were no hotels that we could check into. We were stranded in Tunis with no place to stay and both me and my husband were ill too. We ended up staying in a disgusting hostel just so we could be behind a locked door in the middle of the night. The stress that this hotel put us through is unbelievable especially after an awful journey to find that we couldn’t even stay there and the panic of thinking we would have to sleep on the street. This hotel is supposed to be one of the best in Tunis but far from it. They had no compassion and didn’t even have water to give us. We understand of course that there are policies in place for late check in but what could we have done? So disappointed, :( :(.

good hotel but there are some issues.

the hotel is good, rooms are clean and spacious , service is good.
the downside is that the air condition is not working
the room is hot, i told the reception about this issue but they didn't solve the problem and ignored me.

Not for holidays.....

I arrived quite late having been ripped off by taxi driver from airport. Do not pay more than 10 in local currency ! Staff were pleasant and let me buy a bottle of wine for room as bar closed due to Ramadan. For same reason a free meal was unexpectadly delivered to room at about 10pm ! Couldnt get tv to work despite maintenance chap attending. No hot water for shower either.

clean and roomy but disco on top is a problem

it is very nice hotel over all clean, spacious rooms, the area is ok has many cafes and some restaurants, but the major problem is the disco on top of the hotel. you must reject any room in 5th floor otherwise u will dancing the whole night. even when I changed my room to the second floor I still can hear the drums shaking however not as bad. I would advice owners of this hotel to choose between customers of disco or customers of the hotel. breakfast was ok but not 5-star hotel level.

The cleaning maids stole my wallet which i had no cash or credit cards because of them. I also came to a room that had no toilet paper, and unplugged phone. Terrible experience.

Hotel it’s just Ok. They had water issues almost every day. From not having hot water to very little to none even cold water. Very minimum towels and soaps will be provided. Do not disturb button will be ignored most of the time.
Staff is friendly though.
I would rate this hotel 3 stars instead of 5.

Friendly and helpful staff. Safe environment thanks to the on-site security.

However, the facility itself left a great deal to be desired: Condensing moisture pooled in the floor and dripped from the ceiling, making the floor and furniture wet. The wifi in my room barely worked, and only if I stood right by the door.

Great room, loved jacuzzi bath!!

Very clean, good view, lovely decoration and lighting. Comfy massive bed and good to have room service. Tv had MBC films in English with s good signal. WiFi was down all week. Great breakfast included. Nice upstairs bar. No way 5 star restaurant food was brought separately I finished and my husbands food had still not arrived. Then ordered room service another night was all cold and disgusting. Shame the restaurant does not live up to the standards of the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a good area with easy access to the airport and most parts of the city. However, finding a taxi in some hours of the day is a problem e.g. very early in the morning, not unless previously requested.

The hotel is more a poor 3 star hotel. No towels, cups in the room. Very noisy at night due to loud music from the lounge. Non responsive staff. It was a disappoint. I will not stay there again

loud music no sleep.

We couldn't get any sleep due to the loud music from the night club on the 6th floor. Our room was on the 4th floor every night until about 2:00 am.

The view was a building under construction. The bedroom was spacious and well designed but doesnt seem finished. It was not especially clean. Dirty bath thub, hair everywhere. One of the only hotel without breakfast included.

Fantastic Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. This is a new hotel located close to bars and restaurants on the edge of Tunis. The hotel itself is modern design with clean comfortable rooms. There is a restaurant onsite and usual hotel facilities. The food I had was reasonably priced and of good quality. This included the breakfast buffet which was very tasty and the a la carte menu. The chef obviously understands the premise of flavour combinations and presentation. The result is tasty food with plenty of flavour and reasonably priced. My room was at the front of the hotel but despite the obvious building work in the area I didn't hear any noise at night. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the area. No alcohol at the hotel but they can give directions where to find if this is a deal breaker.
The staff are attentive, polite and friendly. My thanks in particular to Iheb, Sabri and Ridha who went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
The wi fi is fast and all locations in the hotel have strong signal.
The only negatives I could suggest for improvement would be there is no gym and the double beds are two single mattress fixed together.
Would highly recommend Samarons hotel.

beautiful hotel but staff needs training

We stayed here since it was close to the airport. Our rooms was immaculate and very stylish. Asked for a wakeup call which I received. My issues are that upon checking out I had to wait for the staff to physically see if anything was missing from my the room minibar, this was unnecessary and almost caused me to miss my flight. My other complaint, is that I booked the room for two people and my boyfriend felt very judged as he is Arabic and Muslim and they pretty much looked down on him for staying with me. It seemed as though they didn't want to give us a second room key n treated him like he was my driver and not my partner. We are all customers and we all need to be treated equal .

Das ist kein Hotel, sondern eine Discothek - von 23 Uhr bis Nachts 3 Uhr hört man überall im Hotel die laute Musik aus dem 5. Stockwerk (wo sich eine Nachtbar befindet).
Es ist unwichtig ob Gäste sich gestört fühlen oder erst ab Nachts 3 Uhr einschlafen können!
Dieses Hotel würde ich niemanden empfehlen!

Grandi difficoltà per trovarlo in quanto, anche con l'indirizzo preciso della prenotazione, tassisti esperti hanno avuto difficoltà. Acqua calda e TV non funzionante, ma riparati subito. Colazione inesistente ed obbligatoriamente in camera. Struttura buona ma deve migliorare.

Pas même une bouteille d’eau dans la chambre à l’arrivée.
La propreté laisse à désirer. Les produits proposés pour le petit déjeuner sont de qualité tres décevante.
Je ne renouvellerai pas l’expérience dans cet établissement.

Bon hôtel mais pas un 5 étoiles

L’hotel est pas mal’du tout , le service est au top, le personnel est hyper sympa et reactif. Le prix de là nuitée est quand même hyper interessant et compétitif .L’emplacement est aussi top. Les chambres sont propre spacieuse et propre, bien décorées.
Cependant, à noter quelques défauts: le mobilier a besoin d’être rafraîchit, des soucis aussi avec l’eau chaude.

Séjour agréable au Samarons.

L'hôtel est bien. Un peu loin des centres d'intérêt de la ville. Aux alentours, aucun restaurant (à part ceux de l'hôtel) ou boutique ne vendent d'alcool. Le déjeuner était moyen, avec peu de choix. Le personnel était fort sympathique.
