Ive stayed in the Aquarius Dorado n Boqueron resorts previously. Very enjoyable n satisfactory experience. I will say however that there was an pleasant smell in the corridor of the floor we stayed on. Probably due to the rug. Maintenance should consider using air fresheners to minimize the bad odor. Other than that, everything else was execellent.

He alquilado y separado vacaciones en este lugar varias veces al año Aquarium Dorado fue cambiado a otra administración y la experiencia fue muy diferente e inaceptable dos toallas en la habitación solicité más y nunca llegaron un solo rollo de papel sanitario productos de higiene no disponible Sali a comprar de todo para poder pasar la estadía. Al entregar el cuarto la persona del front desk me indicó que no podía quedarme en las facilidades de la piscina que tenía que pagar un day use de 55.00 dolares Totalmente inaceptable una estadía de tres días se convirtió en un día . Esa experiencia fue con el cambio de administracion. Espero que estas recomendaciones puedan llegar al lugar. Muchas gracias!!

Las instalacio es estas deterioradas al igual que las habitaciones los empleados hacen lo que pueden pero se ve que tienen mala administracion. Una sola hielera para 8 pisos , la habitacion incluia, secadora llena de moho, , lava platos roto nevera y estufa ok el Jaccuzi todo manchado de pintura , 2 toallas para 4 personas y no pusieron liquido de fregar esponjas y otros utencilios para poder cocinar como antes lo hacianya que no era mi primera vez se notifico y nunca llegaron tuve que salir a compralos yo para poder utizar la cocina. Lamentablemente ya no es lo de ates. Pocas sillas en el area de playa y piscina y las que habian varias rotas. Sin contar la baja calidad de las toallas que no habian cuando las pedí mas tarde llegaron super pequñas y no absorben nada. Recomendado llevar las propias.

Los recepcionista se le dio conocimiento sobre cama de habitación rota cuando nos percatamos al llegar a la habitación y hasta las 7pm es que nos dijeron que teníamos que cambiar de habitación por que tuvimos que bajar de nuevo a preguntar. Desde que llegamos solicitamos toallas para piscina y al otro día fue que nos las brindaron por que no tenían disponible. Piscina deben de darle mantenimiento todos los días antes o después de cerrar, habían pelos, hojas y suciedad.

La 2457 estaba en bien malas condiciones:
No había café y tuve que bajar a buscarlo. La puerta no cerraba y tuve que buscar a alguien que la arreglara.
La bañera no tenía agua.
Esa tercera vez que fui al fromt desk y
Me tuvieron que cambiar a la 2458.

La 2458 estaba en mejores condiciones pero tampoco tenía café.

Espero puedan hacer algo al respecto para que a la próxima persona no le suceda lo mismo.

Mi peor experiencia en estadía de vacaciones. Lugar está deteriorado y un olor a humedad, almohadas pequeñas y finitas, sábanas viejas y pequeñas, baño deteriorado y roto plumas rotas, habían cucarachas pequeñas en el baño, en la nevera y el mueble del fregadero, en la cama habían hormigas de las bobas, cortina rota que no cerraba, muebles del cuarto viejo, teléfono no servía, servicio a cuarto no existe para darte almohadas y sábanas o alguna otra cosa de necesitar, toallas de la piscina deterioradas. Literal haces el check-out a las 11am y tienes 15 minutos para salir del estacionamiento pero te cobran por adelantado el estacionamiento en el check-in por los días de la estadía, no puedes quedarte en la facilidades como la playa y la piscina que son compartidas con el Embassy Suites de Dorado(están en buenas condiciones) porque debes de pagar adicional un Pool Day Pass que ofrecen para disfrutar lo que te resta del día como si ya no se hubiese pagado la estadía. Facilidades adicionales están bien porque se pagan aparte como la bolera, go-karts, etc y no es parte de Aquarius.

First, the bedroom was with door unlocked or open, dirty mini fridge in specific the freezer with pieces of old plastic labels, one of the bed was not fixed correctly and the box spring was completely out of frame, slide door curtains out of the stick to closing, bathroom with soap mark on the tiles, and bathroom sink glass with all the edges black or without reflection areas, room with very old ac thermostat. Lobby with ice cream fridge completely empty. Casino across the street with ATM machines \"broken\" and casino cashier offer cash withdraw if you signup for a membership.

There were roaches in our room!!! We stayed in the 4th floor so I can’t imagine what ground level was like 2-3 seen and Killed each day.
Only two towels in the room. You needed to swap them out but new ones were never clean. The room was old and outdated, and the ocean view was over the tops of buildings.
The place was alway busy but that was because of a party center attached so parking was hard to find even when you paid for it daily. It seems like a cheap place for locals to go because they offered a day pass.

The outdoor pool area is well maintained as it is shared with the Embassy Suites. However the guest rooms are a different story. We had so many problems that they moved us 3 different times since each room had an issue maintenance was unable to fix right away. The furniture is in desperate need of replacement, the doors are missing security locks and even door handles would come off. We were 4 in a room but they only provided 2 towels. We had to go hunt for the additional towels since housekeeping never came to deliver them. I could go on but I won't. All I know is that I won't be returning to this location.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, with a stunning beach and a nice swimming pool. It is evident that efforts are being made to improve the facilities.
The front desk staff could improve their customer service. They are not particularly warm or welcoming and can sometimes seem indifferent to the concerns and questions that guests bring to them.

This property has unfortunately gone downhill. I’ve been coming here for many years and have slowly seen the property deteriorate. Management does not seem to care and it’s trickling down to the staff. I attempted to speak to a supervisor but was told they were in a meeting all day, three days in a row, really? Upon check in, I had only two towels in my room for three adults. No hand towels, no wash cloth, a shower where the door didn’t close with water escaping onto the floor. A toilet that was leaking, onto the floor and no one who cared enough to get it corrected, so obvious they’re understaffed. Oh, did I mention no sheets or pillows for the guest sleeping on the sofa bed? Again, no management available to assist in correcting these issues. After many years, sadly this will be our last time in this hotel. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. If I could’ve gotten an earlier flight to escape this pathetic hotel, I certainly would’ve left.

Buen precio, sin embargo el segundo piso está descuidado, puertas viejas, alfombras percudidas. La habitación estaba amueblada bien pero con muebles viejos, puerta del baño no abría bien. El detector de humo tenía una luz intermitente que de noche no dejaba dormir, las cortinas no son blackout completamente. El internet es muy bueno, la temperatura de la ducha muy buena y aire muy buen y tiene un armario bastante amplio y posee una pequeña cocina (sin estufa) con microondas y nevera muy buena. La piscina está hermosa y la playa también.

I am leaving a 2-star review because, while the resort is located in a beautiful setting and may be suitable for celebrations or events, the overall guest experience was disappointing. The resort appeared to be very unorganized, and the staff lacked the proper knowledge and professionalism expected in hospitality.
Basic necessities such as toilet paper, soap, and other essential items were not readily provided, which created unnecessary inconvenience during the stay. The property itself has great potential, but improvements in customer service, communication, and overall guest accommodations are definitely needed.

Quiero expresar mi descontento con una situación ocurrida durante mi estancia en su hotel en Dorado. Estuvimos en su propiedad desde el sábado 6 de junio. Hasta el Lunes 8 Ese día, cuando llegamos, solo había 2 toallas en la habitación, cuando la misma se rentó para 4 personas. Se solicitaron toallas adicionales ese mismo sábado y nos las entregaron; sin embargo, se pidieron toallas para el uso de la piscina y nos indicaron que no tenían disponibles. No obstante, en ese momento entendí que probablemente durante la tarde estarían disponibles, cosa que nunca sucedió. Ahora bien, a duras penas teníamos toallas para el uso en el cuarto, por lo que no podíamos darnos el lujo de utilizarlas para la piscina. Además, si la habitación se rentó para 4 personas, solo había un set de sábanas para la cama principal. ¿Y el resto de los huéspedes de la habitación?
En el día de hoy, a las 9:00 a.m., me acerco a la recepción para notificar que la cerradura de la puerta principal tenía problemas, y para pedir toallas y papel higiénico para nuestro uso en el cuarto. También volví a pedir toallas para ver si mi familia y yo podíamos utilizar la piscina, y nuevamente me indican que no hay disponibles. A las 11:00 a.m., nuevamente me dirijo al counter para preguntar si ya tenían toallas y me indican que no están disponibles. Voy nuevamente aproximadamente a la 1:00 p.m. y todavía no están disponibles, y peor aún, ni el papel higiénico ni la cerradura se habían atendido.

Complained to staff about cockroaches. They moved us to another room. Next room had cockroaches as well. Next day most of the hallways started to smell like bug spray. Asked front desk what they were going to do for my inconvenience for having to go through all of my belongings when I get home, and shaking out my luggage. I was just ignored. I booked two separate rooms. Neither was any better. Complained directly to hotel again when I got back and received a generic response hope next visit is better. Stay at the condos nearby next time!!

Lo único positivo de este hotel es su ubicación y el excelente acceso a la playa. Lamentablemente, todo lo demás fue una gran decepción. Las alfombras de los pasillos estaban extremadamente sucias y manchadas. También observé puertas dañadas, marcos con moho y manchas en las paredes que aparentaban ser causadas por humedad y hongos.El servicio de limpieza fue deficiente. Mi reservación era para tres adultos y un menor, pero la habitación solo tenía dos toallas. Informé la situación en recepción y me aseguraron que enviarían más, pero nunca llegaron. Además, la habitación no tenía papel higiénico. Al solicitarlo, el personal indicó que los suministros estaban bajo custodia de la gerencia y que no podían proporcionarlo hasta el día siguiente, algo difícil de comprender tratándose de una necesidad básica.La bañera tenía rota la manija para regular la temperatura del agua, lo que hacía complicado utilizarla. Considero que el precio cobrado no corresponde a la calidad ni a las condiciones del hotel.

Housekeeping poor: reservation for 3 adults and 1 child, only 2 towels provided, replacements never delivered. No toilet paper; staff said management held supplies, none available until next day. Bathtub handle broken. Stayed only due to daughter's graduation. Price does not match quality; not recommended.

El hotel necesita tremendo upgrade en las habitaciones, hay mucho olor a humedad, el sofa cama de la habitación que nos tocó estaba roto, la cama principal ya le hace falta un mattress nuevo y obvio almohadas nuevas ya q las q hay son demasiado pequeñas. La reservación era para 4 personas y en la habitación solo habían 2 almohadas, 2 toallas para secarse, las toallas de playa tiene uno q ir a pedirlas en el counter y solo dan 4 por dia lo q implica q si vamos a la piscina en la mañana y queremos regresar en tarde se tienen q utilizar las mismas toallas, estén las mismas mojadas o secas y de no entregarlas en el counter de servicio al cliente también te las cobran. Demasiado dinero para unas facilidades a las cuales les falta bastante MANTENIMIENTO.

Las facilidades muy bonitas y agradables. El personal me parece que muchos eran nuevos aún así la mayoría muy amables excepto una recepcionista y uno de los chicos que le llevé una situación y sus respuestas fueron algo groseros. Los cuartos cuentan con cafetera pero ya no te dejan café porque según la nueva administración no lo permite además las alfombras necesitan mantenimiento ya que hay un fuerte olor a humedad. En general la estadía fue agradable. Excepto detalles del hotel que se pueden mejorar.

- Checked in with 4 people…our room only had 2 towels and no blankets, pillows, and sheets for the pull-out bed. There is no way to call the front desk, so went back down to ask for them. If those items are not in the room, then why not provide them when 4 people check in? They were able to give us some blankets, but they didn’t have room towels.
- They also didn’t have clean pool towels, a basic pool/beach resort need, available for the majority of our stay.
- Day 3, at 6:00 AM, ran out of toilet paper. (There’s only one roll provided, with no backup!) I got dressed, went to the front desk, and was told I had to wait until 7:00am for housekeeping! By 8:00 AM, still no TP, so I left and bought them myself so my kids could use the bathroom. A roll finally came at 9:30 AM.
- I was almost ok with the constant begging for minimal supplies…until this incident. One of the girls at the front desk just looked at me like I was annoying her for asking for TP at 6AM. Like I was being unreasonable for needing TP first thing in the morning for my family.
- The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We actually bought mattress toppers just so we could get some sleep.
- There was a extremely thin blanket on the bed without a sheet between it and your body.
- Management was not available on site, so I emailed them about these issues..no response. I absolutely hate complaining. I hate asking for things.
-This is 100% a management issue. I felt bad for staff who could not meet basic needs.

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue decepcionante. Al llegar a la habitación, el microondas no funcionaba, lo que resultó muy inconveniente durante la estadía. Las camas eran extremadamente incómodas; se sentían los resortes (springs) a través del colchón, lo que dificultó descansar adecuadamente.

Además, la habitación no contaba con una colcha o cobija adecuada para arroparse, lo que hizo la noche menos confortable. Las instalaciones en general lucen bastante antiguas y necesitan mantenimiento y renovación. Para completar, había un fuerte olor a humedad tanto en la habitación como en algunas áreas de la propiedad.

Lamentablemente, la relación entre precio y calidad no cumplió con mis expectativas. Espero que la administración tome medidas para mejorar las condiciones de las habitaciones y las facilidades del hotel.

It's bad. If you just need a place to stay for the night, it's passable if you don't mind motel 6 level service and amenities. If this is your vacation destination, go somewhere else. Waited two hours for a room past check-in. All kinds of hidden fee threats, credit card holds, and general BS. Carpets are ruined, room smells like a root cellar, no coffee, no coffee filters, no anything. No beach towels were available, no inner sheet on the bed, just a thin blanket. By thin, I mean my socks are thicker. This is a place for locals . Also, they day pass the pool to the public for 50 bucks to the public and it is shared with the embassy suites; busy and hectic. NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS.

Our stay at Aquarius Hotel was average overall.

The hotel is average in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall comfort. One of the main advantages is access to some of the facilities shared with Embassy Suites Dorado, which adds value to the stay. The stay also includes parking, and there are several restaurants and dining options within a 10–15 minute drive, making the location convenient for visitors with a vehicle. There is also a casino at Embassy Suites that guests can access, although we did not visit it during our stay.

However, we experienced a few issues during our visit. We are a family of four, yet our room was stocked with only three thin bath towels. I had to request additional towels twice because my first request was never fulfilled.

In addition, the air conditioning was not cooling properly from the moment we arrived. I reported the issue to the front desk and was told that a technician would come to inspect it, but no one ever showed up.

Overall, the hotel met our basic needs, but there is room for improvement in guest service and maintenance responsiveness. The included parking, nearby dining options, access to shared amenities, and the availability of a casino are positives. I would recommend Aquarius Hotel for a short stay of a few days, but based on our experience, I would be less inclined to choose it for a longer vacation.

The property is in a secured area which was great, but the resort needs some work and updating. When I walked into my room, I was disappointed with the rug having scratch markings and that I felt the need to have to disinfect the whole room. The dresser would not close properly. The toilet made a noise every time I flushed it unless I jiggled the handle. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee provided. The had to two rooms and the other room had the same look and the handle in the bathtub broke but was fixed same day. I saw a bug in the room which I was not happy about. I did not like looking at a trash bins in the hallway every time I came out of the room which added to the place not looking and feeling clean. The lobby looked clean and very different than the rooms. Overall, the room needed updating and proper cleaning, but the pool area was nice and there was beach access which was good. The staff was nice and there were a casino and restaurants within walking distance but only open at certain hours. I only stayed for two nights and would probably not stay there again. I was expecting the resort to be maintained better. The resort shares property space with Embassy Suites therefore you can use their amenities which was good.

Somos clientes fieles de la cadena Aquarius y Costa Bahía. Muy lamentable esto a cambiado para mal. Este fin de semana éramos 4 cuartos reservados lo cuales los cambios realizados han impactado a negativamente para los huéspedes.

1. Cuando llegamos a los cuartos, no teníamos café, servilletas que de costumbres lo brindaban y el cambio fue eliminarlo.
2. Antes brindaban 4 toallas y ahora son dos toallas blancas para 4 personas en el cuarto y no te las cambian dos días después. Que increíble y quien utiliza por dos días corridos las mismas toallas. Tuvimos que salir a comprar.
3. Toallas de las piscinas solo te brindan una por días y si están mojadas no te las cambian hasta el próximo día. Increíble

Muy lamentable que esto esté sucediendo y el descuido del resort.

El acceso a la playa y piscina, estuvo muy bueno e igual la comida en el área de la barra en la piscina, además del servicio de los empleados, dan buen servicio, necesitan mejorar en la limpieza de los cuartos y baños, tener sábanas y frisas más gruesas para arroparse e igual las toallas de los cuartos son de muy pobre calidad. El estacionamiento, si hay actividades en el otro hotel, lo ocupan, por lo que hay que estacionarse en un multipisos.
