The outstanding feature of this guesthouse is the charming and attententive Oly who could not have done more to make me feel a valued and welcome guest.
He provided a vegan cooked breakfast, hot and well presented, with fresh good quality coffee.
Oly was a star host : ever smiling and gracious.

My single room on the first floor was clean, simply furnished and comfortable with a handbasin and small ensuite shower room/w.c.
One road back from the lovely beach and seafront, next to a noisy main road, but quieter at night.
The bedding could be updated but all adequate for my needs as a base for a short walking holiday.
The railway station is a 20 minute walk into town along the promenade.

Oliver's is un a fantastic location just off the sea front. Oliver hinself is a wonderful host, always wanting to do everything to make your stay perfect. We had room 4, which is a great suze and overlooking the sea. Reaĺy clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

Check-in was simple, despite me arriving about 19.30, keys were sorted quickly and no issues there. However, the only breakfast option was 09.00 which is far too late, I was away before 08.00 both mornings of my stay and so had to arrange breakfast elsewhere.

Ole was a great host, good breakfast completely adequate facilities.
Only issue was with Expedia who stated they had taken deposit, but this wasn’t the case. I had to do a little investigation before paying the full price. Hopefully Expedia will not take any payment after the event.

we booked the sea view room which was actually a view of the houses opposite and you could see a small part of the back of the beach and path in the very right hand side of window so i dont think id quite call it a sea view. room was really nice and comfortable and modern either way. it does include towels and house keeping topping up the toilet roll and milks/tea. i would definately suggest having a breakfast menu instead of asking \"what i want for breakfast\" and needing to reel off items of a fry up. girls behind us just said \"we will have what theyre having\" as it is abit odd and i did have items missing that id asked for on the first day. a menu would be much better even preordering the night before if needed. all in all it was a good price for a comfy room, would happily stay again as was afew mins walk from the center and beach then could easily walk to the harbour in 10 mins.

Ive had 9 nights stay. The full english Breakfasts perfectly cooked. Loads of cereals milk tea coffee toast. Host very welcoming and attentive. Provided with parking permit for the swannery car park and this saved me a fortune (@ £4.50 an hr parking charges in Weymouth). Single room with cupboard shower toilet unit. Tv and coffee and tea replenished regularly with the room provided kettle. A good holiday.

Exceptional service in a great location

Exceptional service in a great location. Oliver is a wonderful host always wanting to ensure guests are looked after and if anything is needed. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished. The location is excellent and the breakfast had a great choice and was of superb quality. The only issue to consider is the lack of onsite parking. There are a limited number of free onstreet parking spaces close to the hotel (which we were lucky to use).

We stayed here between Christmas and new year for 2 nights, nice simple hotel offering bed and breakfast, great location with the beach across the road and about 10 minutes walk along the \"prom\" to the town, The Host Peter is a helpful chatty chap, the full English breakfast excellent with quality products being used.
Parking may not suit everyone as its off site and maybe a 10 minutes walk towards the town which for us worked out just fine, Peter supplied a parking pass so there was no charge at all and in Weymouth that's a huge bonus.
Overall a great stay would happily stay again.

LOVELY guest house. Ole and Peter are so lovely, and the guest house - despite being \"at the end of the row\" - is still so close to town.

The room was really clean, really comfy, really well provided for with tea, coffee etc, and O&P couldn't have been more help.

The breakfast was AMAZING (albeit a bit much for my tummy so on the second day they did a slightly smaller one for me - absolutely perfect!) - sausage, egg, bacon, hash browns, beans, tomato, mushrooms, toast, tea/coffee, orange juice and help yourself to cereal.

POINT TO NOTE - Ole and Peter only took over in 2019 and did a lot of renovation, so any reviews before then will have been under previous management.

Only other point to note is that two of the rooms - 5 and 6 - share a bathroom and toilet. The others are ensuite, so if you want ensuite book early.

Pete was very helpful. Particularly with arranging virtual parking permit as Expedia had not passed information on to Oliver's that parking was required and chosen as option when making my booking. Also Pete was very good at providing gluten free breakfast option at short notice.
Our room number 4 was lovely and comfortable with side window sea view. Also had good wardrobe and drawer space.
It was nice to have a separate seating area too to watch TV.

Very cold despite the additional heater provided. Would have been nice if they had put it on for me before arriving.
Shower room had no heating at all. Came on business and found out I needed to pay a cash deposit for the parking permit when I arrived which I was unable to do due to work commitments.
Had a note through the door on the last night reminding me to return the parking permit. Feel I was also followed to my car when I went to pack it (and so I could return said parking permit) as though they thought I would drive away with it.

not what I was expecting

Was nothing like I expected very dated not clean . Share bathroom terrible , twin room was in the attic , 4 floors up which was not good as I suffer chronic pain , room very small tv didn’t work propley and was tiny , furniture very flimsy and cheap looking , the only decent thing was the breakfast which was lovely and the host was plesent , the pictures on booking . Com are very misleading , I did not see a longe at all it bseems it is the last resort , beds very uncomfortable , s a shower room no bath at all very old looking with carpet , ceiling poor decoration our quality and unfinished attic stairs seem quite dangerous , not enough room is shower to get dressed how ever this was rated 4.5 I’m do surprised even the hoist days it the last resort and I see why , whould Deff not stay again

We had a 2 day break over the August bank holiday. Had an excellent stay even though there was renovation work being carried out, which the owners made us aware off. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Within easy walking distance of the beach and the town centre. Peter and Ole were very welcoming and helpful. They cook a great full English breakfast and there was lots of it. Would not hesitate to book again and recommend to family and friends.

Disappointed with the whole experience no hot water no clean towels for three days no security as are room was left open two days running with our possesions in it after we locked it when we went out shower& toilet cramped also toilet seat very loose sink was blocked in our room and leaking which we did report food very very poor served toast with mould on it never ate breakfast after this at to go and buy breakfast

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left Landlady Karen was superb! Nothing seemed too much trouble, she even thought to pop us in a back room as we'd originally booked a room in the front which she thought may have been too noisy. And as for the breakfast........WOW!! For the price Oliver's is a definite consideration for anyone thinking of staying in Weymouth, ideal location, clean room and fantastic breakfast!

Had a lovely overnight stay at Olivers. The staff were friendly and very helpful even providing our breakfast a bit earlier than normal so we could be off on time for our next engagement. Just be aware that the house is tall and narrow with rooms on several floors and no lift. Good exercise if you need it!

This is the most wonderful find. This guest house has everything you could need. Karen is a first class host, the house is beautiful and clean, comfy breakfast is absolutely the best. We were in room 3 which Karen told us was a little noisy but we had no problem sleeping ( sea air). Guest house is ideally situated too close to all amenities. All in all 5 *

Karen was an excellent and friendly host. Our room and bathroom were small but well equipped and clean. The TV was a bit high up on the wall to watch easily and we're used to a larger bed but it was fine for our short stay. Breakfast was delicious. The bacon very good quality and I always like it when you get a decent sized pot of tea. Location was good and central.

The guesthouse is in a cheerful well-kept row of guesthouses, which made my stay feel like a pleasant seaside break. The room had touches I appreciated, such as a good tea/coffee tray and a range of toiletries. Breakfast was of a very good standard, and the staff were very helpful. The single room did have quite a low ceiling, although I coped despite being taller than average. The en-suite bathroom is quite small, although fine for average mobility. The guesthouse is on a main road, which might be noticeable for guests who live in an area with little traffic at night.
