Stayed for one night here and can't fault it. The communication from the owner was good about access into the building. The room was spotless and more than brilliant. There is parking within 100 yards if you need it. And the shower. God the shower. I've stayed in over 1000 hotels over the years for work but never known a shower like it. Blooming thing nearly took my head off, not a bad thing lol. Highly recommend for a stay in Weymouth, you're literally 20 metres from the prom

Room small but not overly so.

3 step entry was fun late at night but that's more my big fingers than a problem.

Our room was small but comfortable and clean. Facilities included TV, kettle and supplies, fridge and microwave. Plenty of hanging space and drawers. The property may need some TLC but security was good and the position close to the sea front couldn't be faulted. The owner was friendly and helpful, good value at the price.

The room wad very comfortable, the bed was good. Finding the room had a fridge was very pleasing. The shower was good as well. The host was very helpful.

The ad shows parking £3. It was not marked, and in the paid town parking lot, which was down the street and more than £3. I had to email to find out where to park.

No breakfast in the morning as advertised, no mention of the change on the website, at the site, or in communication from the manager.

The room was fine for our two nights stay although the mattress in the single bed was hard probably more suitable for a child. The WiFi connection was extremely poor. If one needed the use of Wi-Fi it is definitely not the place to stay at. We did manage by connecting to nearby restaurants . The owner was pleasant and helpful.

when I put B&B in Weymouth the Wilton Guest house came on,So we booked it.The room was very small.No Breckfast. The owner The owner said we did,t do breckfast but it is £80 per night for the room Then she said Wetherspoons will give a discount not true

It was a nice place for a seaside bedroom, it was fine. The place smelt nice and the lady was very friendly and nice. Able to have a nice conversation and laugh. We were able to come and go as we liked with our own key so that's a plus. The location is perfect in-between the beach and highstreets.

We only had one annoyance, I had booked a double bed with it's own bathroom, even the confirmation said so too. We were given two single beds with the bathroom upstairs. It was annoying to travel 6 hours for a funeral, to run up and downstairs for showers or a toilet.

Having to get dressed straight out the shower and basically walk through a stranger's house felt weird. The room could have done with a hoover as I had to keep my shoes on. But I consider myself very picky when it comes to sleeping somewhere. Double check what you've booked unlike me aha.

Dorset short stay on a budget

Booked on a last minute impulse at 7.30 pm arrived at 8.30 pm to a friendly welcome.. Central Weymouth location with convenient (paid) parking. Its neither glamorous b or quaint but the room was clean and comfortable and perfect for one or two nights just as a base for exploring the wonderful Dorset coast.

A basic guest house with tea and coffee making facilities no breakfast but there are lots cheap eating places nearby.
Sarah was very nice and helpful, gave us lots of information for a nice holiday, that was really nice of her. But don't expect her will be there all the time. When we got to the place there was a notice with her telephone number for contact, mind you, she showed up in no time and very friendly.
Car parking is on the street with a parking permit is £5 per day, which you can purchase from Sarah. A nearby council car park with free parking from 6pm to 8am, would have been better for us as we only want a place for resting at night.
Our bathroom was not attached to the room although it was only for us, but we have to go up a stairs. But the price was reasonable

Small guest house close to seafront

Small room with extremely small ensuite shower. Every time you flushed the toilet or used the water in the sink or shower there was a terrible noise. Every time someone else in the building did the same you could hear the same noise, although not so loud. All the doors are heavy fire doors and slam when being closed. This could be heard throughout the building.The first night was bearable, the second night was unbearable and we left before our final night. This hotel would be good for very sound sleepers who don't mind the constant noise. Beware the cost of parking permits at £5 a day.

I stayed in a double bedroom and it was small and crammed with furniture. For a drop in night it was okay however the bed was not clean, there were no matteress protector on the bed nor were the sheets clean. The duvet had stains all over it and the showers base was filthy. The toilet makes a loud noise upon flushing and the shower sounds like the boiler is about to burst because of the constant rumbling banging sound every few seconds. The valence surrounding the base was stained and muddy. If it wasn't for the lack of finding another hotel nearby I would have left like a flash. However upon complaint of the bed sheets they were changed however I will not be returning here despite this. I understand that due to the nature of it being a guest house it's not like hotel service however one thing I would say is the standard of cleanliness should be the same wherever you stay and that was the issue with my stay.

Not told about the bathroom being upstairs separate to room therefore being a single parent with a child this wAs totally inappropriate and this should of being discussed with me at time of booking.
This made the stay uncomfortable.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in

Where to start. I dont usually write reviews like this but here we go. I have never stayed at a place like that. We booked for 2 nights, on the evening of arrival noone was there to meet us, numbers we got to call were going unanswered for about an hour then someone picked up and let us in. We walked in, the room wasnt ready for us, not cleaned at all, bathroom dirty. We managed to get \"upgraded\" to room upstairs which was good (private room by the sound of it). As we were checking out, we were asked to pay the rest of the money, to our surprise it was 6 pounds more than we booked for? (not about the money, dont take me wrong but its the princial that you get an email for 150 for 2 days but they are trying to charge you more?). Parking is a nightmare, but the area is nice.
Not staying there ever again.

Management very unprofessional, as there wasnt anyone on the day when we arrived at the hotel. The door was shut. I haven't received any email with instructions before hand.the house and the room was dirty and smelly. There was hair on the bedding.The sanitary system was very loud. Photos on the website are very misleading. The website also advertise that there is a kitchen / dinning room, but when we arrived it turned out they dont serve breakfast. Very dissapointed with the Guest house. They charge way too much for the rooms. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Fine as a base. The beds are comfortable but the room is very light due to thin curtains and bright lights outside. We had fast wifi. Our bathroom had a few area of mould that could have easily been fixed and the grouting in the floor was grubby looking but overall the room felt clean. Minor things let this room down but for the price we expected that. We had a lovely time in Weymouth.

Aweful. Dirty. Noisy. Sewer Smell and staff knew!

The room is cramped, the view is over bins, backyard and sewer pipes. The room is dirty, hairs on the towels and mattress along with stains too, same for the curtain. The floor was dusty and dirty (again more hairs) and the bathroom was mouldy. This wasn't the worst though!

The room smelled like a sewer and we couldn't shift the smell, I phoned the hotel staff who acknowledged this issue and offered to provide bleach to hide the smell.... I declined as I'm not keen on masking smells with more smells!

The Saniflow is loud and noisy and also backs up into your shower tray so be assured, that has had sewage in it!

I tried to book somewhere else immediately but failed and we contemplated sleeping in our car (wish we did). Instead we brought in towels and a blanket from the car and lay them over the bed and tried to sleep... Only to begin scratching as there is something in this mattress/linen thats alive! The room is also full of flies ( I think or hope just flies, see towel pic)

Last but not least, the noise is insane, there is no soundproofing between rooms you could hear the children jumping around and talking in the room above and next door along with their Saniflow!

Great value with large self contained area!

Great self contained area with living area with kitchen facilities, one bedroom with double and single, one other double bedroom. Surprisingly roomy. Lady in charge Sarah easily contacted by txt and was very helpful and prompt, e.g. when we requested iron & let us store luggage on last day while waiting on transport. Would stay again and recommend highly.

If you want good sleep,not for you

Positivises:The location is very good.Close to the beach and shops.The staff is friendly.They are pet friendly as well.Negatives:The walls are like the paper,you can hear every little noices from other rooms.On the first night we have won a fully drunk couple in the room above us,they had mad screaming and arguing until 11PM. It was a nightmare for me.I have tried to ask help from the staff to stop them (via phone)but nobody replied to me.Only in the next morning someone came,and spoke to the guilty guest.And the other problem :when you open the taps,or flush the toilet,all the pipes have awful noises,like they are close to explosion.

Poor state of Rooms

Unfortunately I booked a twin at this hotel on the recommend of my wife who had previously stayed here. I say unfortunately because the room was below standard, the bed was dirty and still had leftovers from previous occupants and the bathroom was on a different floor to the room.
Parking was away from the premises and therefore quite inconvenient especially as the hotel was situated on a one way street with no room to stop.

Kept waiting and disappointed.

We were unaware from earlier info that one was expected to arrive by 6pm, and unfortunately being unavoidably caught in road hold-up we arrived at 6-20pm. Instructed to tel two numbers, I tried several times and left messages as there was no response. An hour later I received a return call with unacceptable excuses and we gained access soon afterwards. We realised that we had stayed previously and there have been some technical improvements but we shall not return. The room was cramped and neither TV nor wifi worked, but breakfast was cheerily and efficiently served. Some other guests seemed quite content with the hospitality they had received.

lovely but...

a lovely 3 day break in a fantastic county. Guest House was very convenient for Weymouth beach and shops, restaurants, etc. Small but clean and comfortable room, owner and staff very friendly and lovely breakfast. Parking permits required so make sure you call guest house to get yours.Only problem for us was noise from sanitation system. Everything, including toilet and waste water is via a very noisy sani flush system that wakes the house so try not to go to the loo at night and be prepared to be woken if others do. Shame because otherwise this stay was fantastic
