The hotel and apartment were great; my only complaint would be that it's a good distance from everything and no where is friendly towards pedestrians; there's a small shopping mall opposite the main road but everywhere else you need to bus/taxi/drive too (including the larger City Centre Bahrain shopping centre which is less than 300m away that you need to walk around and under the highway to get to) but this is more of an issue with Bahrain in general rather than the hotel.

There was a lack of room cleaning - once in 9 days, despite us asking for it. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper which were delivered at 12:45 AM and the hotel staff didn't see anything wrong with it.
Broken equipment - TV remote (it wasn't replaced) and the electronic \"do not disturb\", \"clean the room\" buttons did not work either. There was a strong smell coming from the drains in the bathroom and the hotel staff did not do anything about it either. We asked to be relocated to a different room and that was not actioned either. This hotel should NOT advertise as 4 star as it is nowhere near.
As for the positives, the gym and sauna were ok. The hotel itself is in a decent location but so is Ibis next door.

The place was not cleaned or properly maintained. The pool was also dirty. The gym had water but no cups. I asked for items for the kitchen - like pots and pans - but never received any.

I loke yhe location. I didn't like the fact that my room had a musty smell, my refrigerator didn't work, and the fact that the staff didn't responded to me - after many calls - until I went downstairs.

This hotel is having hygiene and cleaning services issues, bed sheets ,sofa, and bathroom are full of stains, rooms and hotel lobby smells terrible, cleaning service stops at 6pm although we checked in at 11pm , hotel blaming cleaning service shift at 6pm and they cant do anything until next day,i have called expedia asking for help , the hotel after then decided to move us to another room , worth saying that some of our groceries were stolen when moving from one room to another. Not sure how this hotel is listed in expedia, they should be band.

It's nice and cozy, near everything. The room is good I liked it. Clean. But there are not varaities of tv channels please work on that. I did not try the food yet so I don't know. Last stay there were constructions around the hotel, that was so annoying I couldn't sleep well. Room service want to clean your room no matter if you said yes or no, even I put don't disturb even though they knocked the door for cleaning, so please work on that. The price is good
Overall the hotel is very good I recommend it, this is my second time and I love it.

Great hotel for the price

Check in was smooth and the staff provided us with anything we needed. The hotel is also located close to shopping and leisure activities. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel. If your in Bahrain for a short or long trip. Look no further than this hotel. They don't get much better.

The checkin was very fast, took only 30 secs.! the staff was polite & professional!
I booked a 1 bedroom suite & they upgraded me to 2 bedrooms.
the internet was good.
The overall: EXCELLENT!

Long stay...perfect stay...

Wife and daughter stayed at the property for a short break. We usually stay there for weekends but this was for a longer stay. Both loved it once more.
Staff was really amazing as if we were all a big family. Receptionist always very helpful making them feel at home, cleaning team was also very good, leaving the apartment very clean every time they would come, the guys at the breakfast were simply amazing, always ready to serve the customers.
In summary, a wonderful stay for anyone, for anytime.
We will definitely keep on recommending the hotel to friends and will definitely stay there again and again...
Good job everybody at Tulip Inn Bahrain...keep on the good work !

It's primary issue is it's location. It's next to a very basic mall so you need to use a taxi to go anywhere. But other than that, very good rooms, breakfast not too bad. Would recommend.

Best choice

Was at Bahrain for shopping. Stayed for 2 days. Enjoyed hotel. Nice clean wide space suite so is the bathroom. Staff are very helpful and organized. Breakfast was good. The area is so quite and near seef mall and city center mall. Dana mall. Excellent place to stay in for long or short vacation. Highly recommended.

Good hotel, but a little off the main areas.

Hotel was great. It was a 2 bedroom suite and the hotel upgraded for free. However, location wise, it was pretty isolated. Would recommend self-drive as parking isn't an issue, otherwise, it's not near anything.

They upgraded me to a two bedroom. Amazing. And the breakfast was good. Considering the price wow. Plus I used the pool its good, and their gym has decent equipment with the heavy weights too. Parking is undercover inside building. Great location.

I am really impressed. Great location, good breakfast but the most impress was the size ! Is a apartment style, I stayed in one bedroom with kitchen and super clean.

I really was feeling like a suite but for the price of a normal room.

2 malls walking distance, one just opposite hotel with restaurants, cinema, supermarket, etc.

Cons : not about the hotel, in Bahrain veey difficult to go anywhere walking, they were places nearby where I needed to go walking but was impossible, no way where to walk, only by car.

TIP: if you are in Bahrain please download or use UBER way more cheap and excellent car conditions (uber is managed by private companies like a private taxi ).

Swimming pool and breakfast were nice dunno why some bad comments here, maybe the made some changes.

Nice quiet apartment away from the hustle and bustle of the main city.
I was upgraded to 2 bed apartment even though I was travelling alone :-)
The rooms were huge; bedroom had floor to ceiling windows with views over the city ... ask for a room on higher floors.

Not much within walking distance apart from the mall across the road which had an excellent well stocked supermarket with Deli /hot food counter . This was perfect for me as I just wanted a holiday to relax and read. However, some may want more amenities such as restaurants within walking distance if so this may not be the place for you.

We were upgrade to a two bedroom apartment at no extra cost which was excellent. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and with a huge hyper market just across the road it was perfect.
Staff were very polite and obliging. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Very good value for money when staying on promo price 40bd per night. Only complaint was the very dirty incl breakfast. Staff nice but need to be given authorisation to confirm late check out before morning of leaving. Impressed by full kitchen when description understated it as kitchenette. Biggest complaint is the very dirty pool. Not sanitary to use it. Water and surrounding area not cleaned or well maintained.

Great place to stay

After 16 hours of travelling, involving 3 flights totalling 11 hours, then arriving quite late (22:30), my wife and I couldn't wait to get our heads down for a rest.
We were pleasantly surprised to be told we were being upgraded to a twin bedroom apartment, as were the other couple in our party as well. Our apartment was huge to say the least, with 2 on-suite bathrooms, another toilet and washroom next to the lounge, a nice size balcony that was sunny all day, and a massive lounge, we could have thrown a party in there for about 30 people with ease..... We did throw one for 8 !

The furnishings were very comfortable, the couches almost swallow you into their deep soft cushions, and the beds were just perfect, the only thing I would warn against is putting something heavy near the edge of the dining table, it is mounted on a single pillar in the centre, and can tip over.

The food from room service, while being a bit limited in variety, was very good, with decent sized portions, and was not expensive, we needed it after our long journey, and it did not dissapoint us.

Don't miss the open air pool on the 20th floor, we were in it at 5am on our first morning, and had it all to ourselves, be aware though, there is no lifeguard.
