Amenities at the property were superb. We had opted for bed and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was standard despite the price tag of 17 Bahraini Dinar per day.
The options could be improved and it would be nice if items were changed. We stayed for 7 days and the buffet items were pretty much the same everyday.

A Decade Later, Still Spectacular at Ritz-Carlton

My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, was nothing short of spectacular. This visit was particularly special for my wife and me, as it brought back fond memories from a decade ago when we first stayed here. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable.

The reception team was exceptionally courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process that immediately set the tone for our visit. The concierge was incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations and making all necessary arrangements to enhance our experience.

The room service was equally impressive, consistently delivering prompt and high-quality service with a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. The attention to detail in every aspect of the service was remarkable, from the immaculate room setup to the thoughtful gestures that made our stay more comfortable.

I’ll be back!

Went on holiday on my own for the first time since having a baby 3 years ago - it was absolute bliss. You have all the facilities you could want - wonderful restaurants, attentive staff, beautiful resort including a stunning beach with soft soft sand and a spa/ gym to die for. Particular touches I loved included… the running route outside with the distances marked on the floor, the friendly and thoughtful staff, the bed was so comfortable and the Thai restaurant sushi (hammour) was very very yum!!!!

I’ve visited Abs Dabs, Dubai and Oman in the region prior to this trip. The beach was one of the best (if not the best) I’ve been on in region (incredibly well maintained).

Not a negative (more of an FYI)… Appreciate this is a 5* resort… so for many I’m sure this wouldn’t even factor into their consciousness but I still can’t get my head around the fact a Coca Cola costs 7£. So just a heads up that even a non-alcoholic drink on the beach will add up. All other costs are relative to this, so a main meal (just food) for 1 will set you back anything from 36£ (some sushi) - 100£ (steak).

I've stayed here before; it's one of my favourite hotels. The facilites, cleanliness, room, parking, and food and drink quality cannot be faulted. The Lounge staff, particularly Denny, treat you as super valued customers and could not be more helpful. New Year in Cantina Kahlo was excellent, with a tasty, diverse menu.

That said, this is the first time I have not had Lounge access for the whole stay, and there were some service issues. At breakfast in La Med (16BD per person), we had to wait 30 minutes for tea and coffee and did not get any until after we had finished eating. We also had to ask for plates, cutlery, and milk. A hotel at this level needs to do better.

We also went to the Burlington Club for a late drink but were informed that it was not serving even though it did not close for 25 minutes. I was then told last orders were 45 minutes to closing. I have never been to any bar, anywhere in the world, with such a ridiculous last orders policy.

Lastly, when trying to book Trader Vic's one evening, I was told that it was \"fully booked until closing\" (2am). This is not the first time I have had this kind of issue, and quite often if you just walk down then you will get in if you wait a few minutes. They often claim to be fully booked but then freely accept walk-ins, and a stroll around the resort later in the evening suggested they were not, in fact, full.

Overall, a great hotel, but some of the food and drink facilities need better organisation.

Beautiful hotel with lots of things to do.
Kids club and playground to keep kids busy after spending all day at the pool because it is temperature controlled and despite the season it was nice to swim.
Also lots of good options for eating and very nice restaurants with live music as well

We loved so much about the property: its location, easy to get around Manama from al Seef; the property size, all the facilities are near each other so you don't end up walking miles around the property to get anywhere; the room, very nice - clean, somewhat well appointed (see below); the choices of food outlets, all of which were great; but most of all, the staff. The staff are ALL attentive, helpful and professional. The ones who were really helpful were Mohan at La Plage and Vanessa at Thai.

We found 3 issues that need to be addressed: 1. The keys did not work consistently. In almost a week, we probably went through 10 different sets of key cards. It was extraordinarily frustrating: sometimes you could get the lift to work, but then the key wouldn't work for the room. Other times the key wouldn't work anywhere and we'd have to go back to reception to get new ones. 2. Lack of clothing storage. There are 3 very shallow drawers in the closet area and while it looks like there are 2 drawers in each bedside table, the bottom and deepest one didn't open. We called engineering and they confirmed that it doesn't open. We had very little room to store our clothes. Plus there is no retractable drying line above the bathtub as most hotels have for our bathing suits to dry and only 1 towel rail wide enough to dry one towel and 2 very narrow towel rails wide enough only for hand towels. Not a hook anywhere. 3. There was no full length mirror. Plenty of wall space for one though.

It’s a great place to relax. Not too busy. Nice gym and pools and view of the sea in the back. Rooms are outdated and overly mirrored. Need to be updated. Staff were amazing but seem to be too obsessed with writing notes which I found disturbing. Found in the car for airport transfer. In my room, twice. With the room service. It loses its charm when overly done.

I stayed 4 nights with my mother in a Club room with Club access. This is without a doubt the best hotel we have EVER stayed in. The service is beyond perfect, the care, attention to detail is better than any thing I will ever experience elsewhere.
Denny Thomas, Club Supervisor worked so hard to keep us happy he is always smiling. he is world class and a credit to the company he needs to be promoted to the highest position possible! Mostafa, club lounge staff member was so caring to my mother and I offering us perfect service, perfect and special tea he even gave us the receipe and working so hard . Cathy, Chris, Jam, Jessica club lounge staff member so had working, Ariff and Bilal in housekeeping are also major stars.

We left yesterday and are already talking about our next visit. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely grounds and mostly great staff.
The service at the pool area was lacking, very very very slow. And at both breakfasts I had getting a coffee was a challenge.
The room was pleasant but tired - dirty sunshade, carpet that looked like a well worn teddy bear, fabric that needed replacing in the headboard. Also could have used more USB outlets - only one in the room and the TV had to be on for it to have power.
I had greater expectations from a Ritz Carton.

This is by far my best ever hotel experience. However we had a very poor meal at the Steak restaurant on the ground floor. We were presented with a sad piece of dry beef which was charred on one corner. Chef’s salad was small but baked potato was nice. Yep! That’s it for 80$.
I will definitely stay again if i feel i can afford it—money well spent.

Had a wonderful, short stay for a reunion with friends. The staff were incredible to all of us. We were on the club floor, and ended up staying at the lounge waiting for our flight, and felt like were in our living room at home!! They also gave us a late check out. Stayed at Ritz Carlton for 4 days for business and pleasure. The staff were simply excellent in their attitude and service. Particularly pleased and surprised to receive goodies bag such as cakes, cookies and spice jars.
Reception staff always available for assistance.
The Indian restaurant is one of the best.

The room details in the site mentioned max 2 adults and 3 kids. The hotel provided one additional rolling bed only. After several calls that they can't provide any further bedding, they agreed to provide one more bed and prepare a sofa. The staff was not helpful and not willing to listen.
