When you pay for a Club Room you do get a top floor room however their bar is on floor 25 and very loud until 2am every night. So you pay more for a room you are unable to rest in. Once you get moved far enough away from the floor your stay will be amazing. Great brunch, quiet pool, clean facility.

Our stay at Downtown Rotana was wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the souk, giving you an immediate taste of local life, culture, and energy. You can step outside and be surrounded by shops, local eateries, and the everyday hustle and bustle of Manama—yet the hotel itself remains calm, clean, and comfortable inside.

The food options were excellent, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We loved that the property felt modern and upscale without being disconnected from the authentic Bahrain experience happening just outside its doors.

If you’re looking for a hotel that blends comfort with proximity to local culture, Downtown Rotana is an ideal choice. Highly recommend.

Appears they have a problem with the card system. Had to go every day 2-3 times to get new cards as either incorrect programming or inexperienced receptionist. Shall not happen in 5 star hotel. And believe that saying sorry the problem is solved.
The breakfast okay, omelette average.
The expensive roof top bar didn't have Campari?
The guest lounge club didn't have breakfast nor lunch food. Just coffee and fruit. At the evening was okay.
Anyhow, far from 5 star with a club lounge.

I am very disappointed with Rotana. They downgraded my confirmed and paid booking with a promised refund that never materialised. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and was surprised on check-in that the room was stinking of smoke.

They kept telling me theybare contacting hotels.com and kept postponing until I checked out.

Also, unfortunately the room was they put us in, we had concern with the bathroom cleanliness.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just near the shopping areas and gold souk. It has food options as well as mini supermarket. It is a very safe and bustling area and there are lots of things to do. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and modern. The room was spacious and had all facilities as expected. Only issue I noted was that the shower door requires a better seal on the bottom of the door so that water does not seep out into the main bathroom floor when having a shower.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. Overall, I had a good experience. The check in process was superfast. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, I was disappointed with the in room dining service.

I found coir rope in my tabouleh which I believe is used to tie the parsley leaves. It was clear that the food was not prepared according to the hygiene standards.

This made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the hygiene standards of the hotel.
When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were quick to apologize and offered to replace the food. However, I had lost my appetite by then and decided not to eat anything else from the in room dining menu.

In conclusion, while my overall stay was good, the in room dining service was a disappointment. I hope the hotel takes note of these issues and makes improvements in their food quality and cleanliness standards. I would still recommend this hotel for its other positive aspects, but I would advise future guests to avoid the in room dining service.

nice hotel but do not go for a room on 24th floor - especially 2416 where you can hear the bass from the 25th floor restaurant/disco as well as a cooking smell. otherwize club lounge is good - nothing special but good. Hotel is good value for money otherwize.

Great hotel with a great idea of service to the client. At first there was a little hiccup, nothing major. The manager Mohammed immediately solved the problem and went above and beyond to make for a great stay.
The pool is great. Restaurants are very nice. The lounge is also great, with nice food and a great view.
The hotel is very conveniently located. Near Avenues mall, near the souq and not far from restaurants and amenities.
Overall I had a great stay. I'll be coming back to this hotel.

I enjoyed how the staff was friendly very hospitable and they made the trip very easy. They have a driving services so you don't need to deal with the taxis on the outside. This is a very big plus. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

They are charging you more than what you book. On hotels.com (also on my recept from Hotels.com) i have a Price around 160 BHD, but the hotel charged me for around 174 BHD. I have tried to write Them an e-mail but they are not answering

Everything was great as usual except for the fact that it took over an hour to check me in. I first got there and was told by the only guy working at the desk that all Non-Smoking rooms for the type of room I booked were unavailable but that I could either take a smoking room or they could upgrade me to another room/suite. I definitely didn't want a smoking room as I am a non-smoker and I have been upgraded before to the other bigger rooms/suites but didn't really like those rooms hence why I ALWAYS book and rent the same room and usually on the same floor....am a creature of habit.

Anyway, It wasn't until I demanded to speak to the manager that it was all sorted out. But even when the manager sorted it out, he told me it would take 15-20 mins to organize the room because it wasn't ready yet and there wasn't a TV set up in there yet...so they sent me to the bar upstairs where I waited over an hour to be checked it. I hardly ever complain about things but definitely was unhappy about this type of situation particularly since I drove more than 3 hours to get then and also because I am regular and frequent guest at your hotel. Once a guest has 100% paid and booked a room, that guest expects it to be reserved and waiting for them to be checked-into without any hassles or severe delays, it's a simple concept. And if for any reason the room that guest has booked is no longer available he/she should be notified before hand before arriving not when they actually get there.

Perfect beside 2 issues

Everything went well exept 2 things:
1st; I asked for a driver to reach some meetings, I got a driver who doesn’t know the destinations which involved cancellation of the first meeting because of the delay caused.
2nd; while checking out, the front office desk employee refused to give me an invoice, stating that I have to get it from hotel.com; thoigh the previous hotel (Le Meridien) gave me their invoice.

We stayed for one night at the Downtown Rotana. The staff at the front desk were friendly and professional. When we checked in we asked for a baby crib to be put into our room and by the time we got to the room it was there. The pool is clean and the lifeguards are attentive. The only downside is that there is not a baby pool which might be an issue for some families. There were more than enough sunbeds and clean towels. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, with a wide range of hot and cold foods. I am vegetarian and found there was a wide range for me to choose from. Will definitely stay again.

Check in was great, the hotel is in great condition and very attractive. The facilities were top class, including the gyms and out door pool. The breakfast and lunch buffets were top class - amazing food. There are also some fast food joints next door incase you are in a rush. Most of all, great staff.
