The Crowne Plaza was a lovely hotel. We enjoyed the location, the room, the pool and the Club Lounge. What really made the experience special was the courteous, well trained staff. Aman, and his supervisor, Nishant served us excellent food at La Mosaique. Michael gave us a tour and made us welcome at the gym. We were welcomed at the pool and the front desk staff were also very helpful, though I forgot to get their names. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for your stay in Bahrain.

We stayed at the Crowne plaza as we were going to the F1. Initially we were assigned a smoking room but they kindly accommodated a swap to a non smoking room despite how busy it was. The hotel is 3 floor but note there aren’t any lifts which is generally not an issue but just something to be aware of. The staff at the harvester were fantastic - Shohel in particular was great and very friendly as we were there every day and they learned our orders very quickly. Nice terrace outside just a shame the view is of a viaduct. Pool area is very clean and nice to chill out but has the same view as the terrace. The free transport to the track was a 20 min walk from this hotel so not bad at all. Rooms are large and clean so perfect for what we needed. Definitely an option for race weekend.

We stayed two nights - Family trip. We enjoyed the swimming pool and got breakfast/dinner at the buffet. Food was delicious. Staff was so kind and friendly. We had absolutely a blast. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back .

Some staff were very curtious but some front desk staff didn't blin when you walked by.
Managers were great and Alphonso in the main dining room was all over the lace. Helping customers, other staff and adjusting decor on top on that.
Only problem was the hot water in the shower was only warm when water from the sink was hot. Engineers came to check but luke warm was the result more than one day...

The Hotel is really a five star experience. Rooms are really good and well maintained with all amenities available.
Everyone should consider their stay there when visitng Bahrain as it is near to all attractions and shopping places nearby. Perfect for families.
We will definitely visit back.
The only thing i wanted tonpoint out was that the mini bar was left empty during the full duration of our stay.

a wonderful hotel

the hotel is nice, but it's the amazing staff at this hotel that makes it a delight to stay there. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the pool crew to the housekeeping staff were caring and attentive. The location is great in the center of the city as well.

Old one floor hotel

The hotel is located in the center of Manama. It is a one floor hotel with a relatively old building. Furniture needs update and parking was a hassle since there were night clubs in the hotel and the customers took all the available parking spaces. The hotel is generally clean and calm in the morning and super noisy and dirty at night. If you visit Bahrain for clubbing and night life then you will like this hotel. however, if you are with family or don't like the noise, then this hotel is not recommended.

Excellent hotel for F1

I stopped here for the F1 and the location and facilities were excellent. Staff very helpful in arranging a car and the on site bar and food are excellent. The staff are always happy to help and this is a brilliant hotel. I went to the f1 and stayed here would definitely stay again.

A solid choice

Had an enjoyable stay at the Crowne Plaza. Well located (especially with a car). Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a decent pool. Very good value for money. Not the fanciest hotel in Bahrain but it was perfect base for exploring the island which we did extensively. If you are after more of a fly and flop would not be my first choice however.

Rooms are quite and very clean, staff friendly and all taking COVID 19 safety measures. The Hotel bar and breakfast restaurants were good. It was steak night and enjoyed it a lot. The service was excellent and all staff care about your comfort and safety

a Week in Bahrain

All in all it was a nice stay. The upgraded rooms were very clean. The hotel was quite, mainly because of travel restructions due to COVID19 outbreak. Breakfasr buffett was OK. The location (Deplomatic Area) was excellent as it was very close to everything we wanted to see or visit. The manager, Elyas, was great to deal with and very helpful.

Bros: location, cleanness, staff

Cons: no elevators, bars and clubs entrances are at the stairway leading to the rooms (not a good seen for families)

Location and Friday buffet. We use this hotel as our quarterly escape from Saudi Arabia. It offers us a nice change of pace and an open environment.

Good parking facility but poor connection to the main building of the hotel, must go across the front yard, down the stairs and along some winding alleys. The lobby is grand and spacious, good for meeting and socializing, good food, BD 15 for buffet dinner with plenty of choice from fish and meats to salads and desserts. The restaurant's interior is neat and clean but the terrace is a bit run down with a nice view over the pool, though. No lifts for the guests on the first floor. Rooms clean but a bit cramped. Halloween Friday was a big hit with plenty of characters disguised in costumes and scary masks. The gore cake corner with spiders, coffins and death gadgets was a big attraction for selfie-fans. The draft beer in the bar was below what you'd expect at such a hotel. Philipino entertainment team with their karaoke program and six dancers was a bit tacky but enough for local expectations, I suppose. Overall, 8 out of 10 mostly for the lobby, sports facilities and the food. Worth visiting.

Clean Comfortable Rooms and Good Bar

Room is clean and comfortable. Shower is great. Only issue is no lift in the area we stayed. Luckily we had only a couple of bags to carry up the stairs. Overall a good place to stay but limited places to easily walk. Bar is good - expensive but good and the entertainment was great.

Hated it!

I did not enjoy my stay here for many reasons. First, is that the reception greeted me so rudely and when I was asking about breakfast because the details said breakfast for two he said we only give for one person. I showed him the email and he still insisted so did the supervisor.. second the room, was ok but smaller than what I expected.. the swimming pools was disgusting with bugs in it, so we didnt use them! The staff generally especially evening time are not nice and not very helpful.

Good Hotel in Diplomatic Area of Bahrain

The Crowne Plaza is an older property which is being refurbished. I was fortunate to get a renovated room, but the view was only of a car park. The other wings are under re-construction to renovate those rooms. The location of the hotel is the Diplomat Area of Bahrain. The location was excellent for the business of this meeting. The staff were all very friendly. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable.

Great hotel, well located in Manama. Currently undergoing some development work, but that didn’t really hamper my trip at all. Staff were really helpful, brought me a complimentary juice while checking in (which at 12.30am was very much appreciated!) Spent most of my trip at the Bahrain International Circuit and the Crowne Plaza was close enough to the motorways to make the drive easy!

Only complaint was that in the hotel restaurant when ordering just a cup of tea with breakfast, I’m assuming the pots for tea and coffee are not kept separate as most mornings my tea tasted of coffee!

Love it EVERY time!!!

The best stay every time I come to this hotel. The staff, the room, and everything. This trip I came and forgot my iPhone charger. I went to the front desk and ask if they had an extra I could use. They eventually found one that I could use. So if there is one thing I would change, I would ask that the hotel get extra charger cables for personal like myself who will forget them to borrow. Just things like that to make our stay more comfortable.

Always the best!!

Every time I come to Bahrain I stay at The Crowne Plaza for a reason. I love the staff, the rooms, the food as well as the atmosphere. To me there is no better place to stay. They treat me like a VIP, so why would go elsewhere? I tell all my co-workers that travel, to stay there as well.

Fire Drill to Bad Smells

I arrives to be told I need to participate in a fire drill from 3-4, I worked all night? Finally went to get ice, no machine in hotel, bed hard, again fire alarm went off at 10pm? The pool was open from 9am to 8pm, could be earlier or later? The front desk neglected to tell me about the Friday brunch, when I asked Friday morning they said it was full now, but I could sit in the lobby to participate? There was a terrible manure stench all one day making the pool impossible to use, little shade at the pool, the bed was hard rolled all night, breakfast buffet was expensive, the Friday bunch was good, expensive but fun. Would I stay again? Not very impressed, I did walk to get Ice four times...so got out. Near coral beach but never got there.

Adequate with convenient location

We booked a hotel for 3 people. Our room on arrival was small, old and dingy and the fridge was not working. Nothing like what we booked online. The staff were accommodating when we complained and moved us to the other side of the hotel to a newer and more modern room. While the room was much nicer it was still much to small to accommodate 3 adults. We were tripping over each other in there and the extra cot had to go in front of the door and bathroom entrance. On a positive note the staff did all they could to remedy the situation and in were in general very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the Indian restaurant was exceptional.
