stayed in Elite Resort &Spa Hotel - Bahrain - from 28 to 31 Dec 2025 the hotel is good, the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, they upgrade me to 2 bedrooms instead of one bedroom. The hotel located between Manama and Muharraq. The Saada center is 10 min waking where some restaurants and coffee shop available.

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms and hospital staff. From the staff at front desk to La Brasserie to Azul Beach, everyone was kind, helpful, and made my stay a pleasant one. I had a very relaxing time and they also have a washer and dryer to do clothes.

Been coming to Bahrain numerous times over the last six years. Never stayed here but decided to give it ago this time around. A lovely property and will come back. The room decor is a bit outdated but they’re very spacious and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The beach is wonderful and the staff is hospitable and professional. A special shout out to Sabita in the La Brasserie. She’s an angel.

Beach is not fully accessible and is share with Azul , only 6 beds near the Beach area the rest of the beds far away…
Not a good option if you have more people in your party or group as you will be spilt

Also note there is construction next door so we were disturbed during the night and we were not informed of this when when we checked in plus when we were given the room ….

We should have been compensated for this all night disturbance on 2 nights we were .

This is hands down one of the most horrible, unwelcoming, and misleading hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life.

Let me start with the biggest issue: the hotel does NOT have a private beach. This is completely misrepresented on their website and booking platforms. The beach is actually owned by a separate restaurant, and hotel guests can only access it at specific times on certain days—and even then, you’re heavily monitored. You’re not even allowed to bring a bottle of water with you. Nowhere was this mentioned before I booked, and it was a huge disappointment.

This is NOT a family-friendly hotel, despite being advertised as one on Expedia. If you’re planning a stay with kids or looking for relaxing family time, this is not the place. The atmosphere is more suited for singles or groups of friends. There’s loud music, partying, and people drinking all day. If that’s what you’re looking for, great—their music and party vibes are actually decent on event nights—but don’t expect anything remotely family-oriented. There are zero family-friendly activities and absolutely no effort to make families feel welcome.

Check-in was okay—Gerard was the only standout, truly helpful and professional, even when I was clearly frustrated. A few of the pool lifeguards were kind as well. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the security staff, especially those hired by the restaurant. They were rude, disrespectful, and treated guests like an inconvenience rather than valued customers.

The place is a disaster! At the floor entrance there was a strong smell of cigarettes, the beach was closed to a private event so we could not access, the staff was very rude and unpolited to our kids… really disappointing. And during night there was so much noise from a beach party… worse place ever! If you want to travel and enjoy, chose someplace else!!

Good for family with baby

Location is great and staffs are very friendly especially the reception lady. Sea view room is great! Breakfast ok (the day we had seems mainly Indian food). Room service was quite good.
The overall condition of the hotel is ok. But a little bit old. Overall, good value and we enjoyed our stay and would like to go back and spend more time maybe by the beach or in the pool.

It’s a lovely hotel. The staff are very kind and obliging. It’s walking distance from the Souq and the spa is wonderful. The hotel overall is very accommodating, spacious and professionally run
They could use an update on the hotel decor , a little bit of wear and tear. Water sometimes wasn’t hot. The beach they advertised is actually private, so hotel guest are only allowed in certain parts.

The hotel is excellent, check-in was smooth and quick, the room is spacious, check-out was quick. The Italian restaurant serves excellent and delicious food with a direct view of the sea. The furniture is a bit old, but it is clean. The only problem I faced was the lack of hot water for showering. This hotel will be one of the hotels that I will recommend in the future.

The room we stayed in was large. It was clean but very dated, tired and worn. There was noise from other guests shouting in the early hours of the moring on two different nights, there was also a dog barking frequently and the music could be heard from the pool area very late at night as there was an event happening.
The beach is ok, very small but you are also often refused entry at certain times due to private functions which was very frustrating. Nothing within walking distance of the hotel but easy to get taxis ( expensive) or Ubers anywhere in the city. All of the pool area in the shade from mid day.

Bed duvet was not made from previous guests and we found hairs on duvet, after complaints to housekeepers bed was made again..unacceptable behaviour. WiFi is very slow almost nonexistent.

The pictures of the hotel must have been taken many years ago because every part of the hotel is very dated ,hence all the building work ,in reception and around the pool .only stayed one night at the hotel but stayed in the room 90 percent of the time.the only plus to the hotel was the staff were very friendly

We had a fantastic week here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great amenities like the pool jacuzzi was super amazing. If you are a hijabi book the balcony. You will be able to get some vitamin D. Safayet was truly a gem, very helpful at the pool area exceptionally so esp with my wife who is in a wheelchair. Frijy in the breakfast room was exceptionally helpful as well. Very attentive.

This property has great potential. We had a one bedroom suite with a beautiful balcony and sea view. That was the best part. The pool area and pool attendant were great. However the rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The hotel has an after hours club on the 1st floor which plays loud music from 2am - 6am every night. The bass from the music vibrates through the hotel and can be heard even on the 7th floor every night !! The taxi drivers picking up and dropping off to the club honk their horns continuously waking anyone who is sleeping. Despite its central location and gorgeous views, I would not stay here again unless there is some major changes.

Pros: Cleaness (10/10), Staff (10/10), Room was fabulus and large we had three bedroom apartment with 4 full bathrooms> swimming pool is greate for kids and adults. Breakfast buffet was very good for the price 5BD (13.5 US$) per person which is excellent. The only observations was the very dirty windows (maybe never cleaned) and old furniturs (but clean). What amaze me is how clean this resort was, I travelled alot but the place is exeption in term of cleaness

The wifi kept turning off and on in my room. A technician came very fast after I called and made a complaint. The technician replaced the router with a new one, but the wifi still didn't work. It was late and I was checking out the next morning, so I let it go. I requested for my room to be cleaned one morning and the staff didn't come and clean until that afternoon. On a positive note, the hotel staff was very friendly and room was nice.

The staff was very friendly and greeted me by name when I walked in. Anytime I asked for something, they assisted me with a smile and were pretty quick. They also updated my room for free and without me asking.

The hotel is not a 10 minute walk from the mall as advertised. It’s more of a 10 minute drive.

The hotel is really old and dated. The jets don’t work in the bathtub and there was a mildew smell in the room. The caulk around the tub was cracking and just wasn’t very appealing.

The pool area was really nice and had a live band. There is also a full service bar near the pool and they serve shisha.

This hotel is very beautiful and the location is amazing! However the customer service here is poor and I would not recommend to anyone! I myself won’t be visiting this hotel ever again. The staff loves to say “10 minutes” or “immediately will attend” but leaves you to hang for hours or doesn’t respond to you. I am completely understanding that during the holidays this hotel was busy however they do not know how to handle customer complaints or attend to them. Service is extremely poor in this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and clean and the A/C good, if a little loud. The hot water took ages to come through which aswell as being annoying, very wasteful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Great amenities, very well equipped gym. The pool area is great. Can't comment on the bars as it was Ramadan but they looked nice. The staff were all helpful and very friendly. Good location even though on the map it looks remote, most things only 15 minute drive. The cot provided was bery large and had seen better days. Must be good as we have booked the hotel again.

It's easy to find and the location is convenient to Manama since it is centrally located. Parking was good. Check in was easy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was nice to put the kids in their own room and my wife and I in a separate room. Lots of space. The showers were room temperature and never got warm. The TV was difficult to navigate even with an instructions card. Took us a while to figure out how to change the language settings from Arabic to English. We checked in late and left early, so didn't try any of the amenities (pool, bar, restaurant, breakfast).

Everything appeared clean except the bathroom. Looks like they just forgot to clean the floors from the previous guest. Hair and dirt still on the floor. Spa was under renovation, which was a major disappointment. I needed the wifi to keep up with my work, but the wifi in my room was practically useless. Got tired of waiting for the hot water and wound up with a cold shower.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I've been extremely happy with both stays.

This time when checking in I was pleased to be informed that I had been upgraded to a two bedroom suite.

The Suite had a kitchen, two full bathrooms (including showers in both), with the main bedroom bathroom also including a jet tub. A third guest washroom was also available.

Living room area included three couches, along with a dining area allowing for seating of multiple guests. Satellite TV (OSN) was available with plenty of English channels

Breakfast buffet outside in the Noor Tent was delicious and never disappointed. The outdoor pool/bar area provided a nice relaxing atmosphere.

My biggest issue with this hotel is the WiFi. The coverage in the rooms is sporadic, and when you do get a signal, often it is extremely slow.

When outside by the pool, I was not able to get any wifi connection.

Decent hotel when travelling with the family. Nice big size apartments with separate bed room, living area and kitchenette. Pool area by the sea (no beach access) was also rather nice with some extra activities for kids, could use more sun shades though. Reasonably good breakfast also available. Used the pool side restaurant only couple of times; the pricing on some of the items on the menu is bit steep. Same goes for the babysitting service rates.

The service was friendly, even if bit slow sometimes... needed to keep on reminding about some things to get those arranged.
Hotel location provides good access with a car to different areas around Bahrain.

Great place to stay and with a water view. Pool looked okay to swim in. Many US TV Shows on the TV.

Great, comfortable hotel with an sea view!

Hotel was in a great location, with amazingly friendly staff.

The breakfast buffet was a bit busy on the Friday, but was managed efficiently given the number of patrons. There was a good selection of food which should be suitable for even the pickiest eater.

Room was spacious, with an kitchenette complete with fridge, dishes, microwave and complimentary coffee and water.

Satellite TV provided by OSN had some issues with connectivity due to inclement weather, so was sporadic.

WiFi was complimentary but was capped at 2 Mb download and 2 Mb upload, enough for surfing the internet but often struggled with streaming video.

Bed was comfortable, and on the softer side of firm (which is my preference). Four pillows provided were also soft and allowed for a good night sleep.

Overall my experience at this hotel was better then expected and look forward to staying again.

good sized suites. furniture are quite old. they got good entertainment at living hall with partial OSN channels. room service are quick. breakfast menu was very decent. located in good place.

Excellent hotel for many reasons, however, the wifi terrible. I would stay again, but hope they fix this issue.
