The food and service was amazing. My only complaint is that my jacuzzi had a dirty filter and was spewing black residue from the jets into the water. Overall however I would definitely stay here again.

Few issues i would like to address, although the location oft this hotel is perfect with the most perfect view (33rd floor) I encountered few problems, first being dripping noise from the room in the night. I could hear this almost every night, a loose pipe perhaps which needs to be sorted, 2 pipe in the toilet was faulty and was dripping continuously when i use to wake up in the middle of the night i use to see a puddle of water i tried fixing it after doing ablution but it still use to drip, 3 the windows were not clean from the outside alot of dirt, 4 i use to hear this weird gushing noise in the night thinking someone was crying once when i woke up not to sure what it was but i think it was the sound of the wind! Really bad... i was scared at one point. 5, i went out at 9am and i pressed the button for the house keeping to come and clean my room ( been 2 days my room was a mess) so i came back at half 1pm and it was still unclean. House keeping knocked my room at 2 pm asking to clean it and by then i was resting and did not want to be disturbed 6, i bought some new accessories and it had some tags around them i called and asked for some scissors at first she didnt know what i was asking eventually she did and said she will get back to me, but she didnt. So was bit annoyed. The good things were the breakfast staff, Abdallah was really nice and accommodating he made me coffee everyday just the way i like it with my name on top!

Very Dissapointing

I’ve stayed at this hotel before. But things have changed in a negative way since my last visit. When I checked in this time, I was surprised the room didn’t have a safe box. The shower had no hot water. And the telephones in the room were not working properly. I called the reception and they moved me to another room. I got to the other room and found out the AC was not working good. The room was very warm and the telephones inside the room were beeping randomly. I called the reception and they sent a technician who basically unplugged the phone and plugged it back but that didn’t solve the random beeping. At 4 AM I called the reception and they said they need to move me AGAIN.. So I moved again to another room. The view in it was not as nice as the previous rooms. And again it had the same telephone issues where the one by the bed keeps beeping randomly and the one in the living room was not working at all. There was also a burnt light by the safebox that kept on flashing and yet everyday housekeeping would come clean the room but they never bothered replacing it or at least informing the right department so that they can have the light replaced. Laundry service was not good at all either. I gave them a few items and they informed I’ll get it next day by 12 afternoon. I didn’t get it till 2 days after and yet they wanted payment in full. I’m not sure if I’ll be staying here again after this disappointing experience.

Okay hotel, spa a disappointment

Not clear where to expect a delivery... Had to visit reception (16th floor) and conceige (ground floor) to find items. Had to travel in public elevator in a robe and slippers to get to another level of the spa (embarrassing for me). Also, could not get the spa treatment booked because machine was broken.
Staff pleasant and accommodating, but hotel layout does not help them.

The service was outstanding from checking in, where we were automatically upgraded, to the spa and concierge help. They filled out coffee and tea early in the morning and we didn’t run out. They got us taxi service and it was terrific. The breakfast was good tasting and had a good variety.
It was an overall good experience.

The hotel was amazing. The food was excellent, there are a lot of amenities, and the bed was super comfortable. The only issue I had was there was a tiny bit of mildew in the shower because it wasn't sloped to completely drain.

The hotel is excellent in cleanliness, facilities. But i wont stay again and i dont recommend staying at this hotel for one only reason: you can't have a good sleep because of the wind speed hitting the building which means they have really bad quality windows that can't isolate wind sound

Ummm yea im going back!

One of the most beautiful views in Bahrain. Staff was excellent to every need requested from check-in to check out! The spa was lovely and so luxurious, and oh my god the sushi on the top floor was AMAZING, I ate there four times!

Nice hotel but sound isolation issues

I really like the domain as I often go for the restaurant/lounge. This is the first time I actually stay in for the night. The room is nice and clean, however the sound isolation in the room is very bad as I could hear a lot of noises from the hall, adjacent rooms, and the street. I had to check out a couple of hours late and they were going to charge me a half night fee, but the lady in the reception (Alaa) was very kind and waived the fee for me. Her nice attitude is why I would consider staying at this hotel again.

A room with a fantastic view!

We arrived and the reservations seemed friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The Reception Check in however fell short of our expectations given what we had requested. The Check in wasn't busy and yet the correspondence detail about our specific requests had not been communicated properly internally. The room was good though had signs of wear and could do with some attention to cosmetic aspects of the decor. The room was set up for one guests not two which meant each day we were asking for extra towels and dressing gowns each day. The basics of milk, tea etc didn't seem to be topped up from day to day and the mini bar was stocked with three soft drinks. The air conditioning seemed very cold in the hotel and most of the time I needed and extra layer. The concierge service was the area where the staff shone and they seemed very attentive and professional. All in all the stay was good but not great or exceptional.

While staying there, everything was clean and the staff was nice. The lighting system kept shutting off if you didn't keep using it and the AC would too. You would have to reinsert your card in the card holder over and over so it would kick back on. ( even though it was in there the whole time ) other than that. It was a good stay.

The receptionist was very nice to deal with.i think her name saline or samething like that She worked for me as a free upgrade and a late exit was very friendly and a cake for my free birthday was noticed. It was a very busy move and the car staff was well advised

Very noisy rooms, no privacy in the bathroom (people in the nearby hotels can see you taking a shower!).
And one more thing, apparently the hotel made up a new rule (witch they share it after you pay for the room) that forbids vapors from vaping in their SMOKING ROOMS.

i want to call the manager but no one want!!

I was sleeping 7:30 am and there is 4 guys enter my room!! The reception booked for them my room !! And no one want to take an action!! I'm n the hotel now! Should I call the ministry !!
And they didn't say sorry!! Only housecleaning mistake !

Great local getaway for me!

This was not my first time at the domain, but I have to say I'm never disappointed. Hotel staff was excellent and upgraded my room no extra charge because I was uninformed the room I booked didn't have a bath tub! Also extended my check out time no extra charge. Very clean, comfortable, and all around my favorite hotel in Bahrain so far!

The management was great about solving issues. The only downfall, I left an expensive item of clothing in the room, of course you usually don't get those back.
So, I'll do a better job at making sure I have everything before I leave.
This is a great hotel, the price, view, Friday brunch buffet, and service at check-in/ check-out were high level.

Like an amazing apartment, great view, cool scene

Not the greatest communication between this site and the hotel since their reception desk effectively shuts down in the evening. They did try to be helpful but it was still a bit slow moving. Everyone was delightful still. I also didn't like how they asked several times what time I would check out, and I told them the same thing several times, and I still had someone walk into my room before I was checked out.

Beautiful hotel with a few problems. Unbelievable breakfast buffet included in room rate. Everything you can imagine and many homemade, local delicacies. Restaurant didn't have many of the items on the menu. Free ladies night in bar but food not served until 7 pm. The pool room is disgusting. It stinks of mold and sulfur. Hard to understand this when the rest of the hotel is impeccable, except for the windows. This hotel has a glass exterior and the windows really need to be cleaned regularly. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Domain Hotel. The staff was very nice, helpful, and professional. I can not wait until my next trip to Bahrain because I am sure The Domain will be my first chose when it comes to my hotel stay. I am also sure there are bigger and maybe better hotels in Bahrain but I know for a fact I will not find a staff more willing and excited about seeing you walk though their rotating doors.

The Domain is a very nice higher end hotel. The one concern is if you're planning a shopping trip it's a hard hotel as you have to either have a car, or a can / car service that you know.

Wow, wow, wow. I loved this hotel. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel. Nothing is perfect but I still give it 5 stars and I would definitely book again. It's in a great location and the atmosphere in the hotel itself is just lovely. See Tripadvisor for my full review.

Not good for couples, maybe short business visits

the decoration is nice, I have to say its new look. Pillows were extremely bad, put one and your head falls put two and fight whole night trying to balance them. Couches were very stiff and TV channels are poor, poor in-room dining menu.
Breakfast area is nice, food was nicely cooked but poor variety in comparison with similar hotels.
