Amazingly comfortable bed. Great breakfast. No bathrobes in the room but then we were questioned about them when we were leaving as if they had been there and we’d taken them. Advertised blackout blinds non existent. Wifi slow and the sofa in the room was very small and torn.

Walkable to the main Plaza

Picked us up at the airport at 4am. Terrific! Room and bathroom spacious and clean and staff very helpful, even though we could not speak Spanish. Twenty minute easy walk to the city centre.

Clean hotel next to stadium but quiet

We lived about 2 blocks from this hotel when we lived in Santa Cruz. This time we were visiting and needed a hotel. It was surprisingly Clean and modern. We stayed in the suite room, it included a Jacuzzi. The room was large and comfortable. A game was just ending at the stadium and inside our room all was quite and the traffic quickly dissipated. They have a restaurant on the premises.

nice hotel, not for famyly, rooms has only 1 bed

we made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 kids, when we arrived they only have rooms with 1 king bed or a room with 2 twins, none of those are for 4 people, people that works there are very kind and they put another bed in the room but only 1 so it was not confortable and they have to move everithing to let the extra bed fit into.
price for santa cruz, bolivia is overpriced, that hotel shoul not cost more than 60 dolars

Disappointed with the room and service I received.

Just from the beginning I started to have a bad experience. After I made the reservation I called the hotel to make sure they have my reservation, but I was told they were having an issue with their internet and they had not received anything, when I called I specifically told them my reservation is for one room with 2 queen beds. I was told I was going to get a call back in the matter of 30 minutes, no one called back. When I had called back I told them I had missed my flight from Cbba to Santa Cruz and that I was on the waiting list for the next flight and that possibly I was not going to make it and if I could cancel the first night but checking on the following day, but it was not possible because I selected a room none refundable, I wished they had some kind of exception to the rule but they were not flexible. But I wish that was the end to everything, I got to the hotel late, when I arrived I was told my room was given away because they assumed I was not going to show even though I had already paid and was told there were no cancellations. They gave me a room with 2 single beds and was charged the same amount. Tired, upset and frustrated I accepted the room and was told for the following day I was going to receive a room with queen beds, but when I came back late at night they only had the same room available. All this is unacceptable, was taken advantage of the situation. I would not stay again at this Hotel.

When I first got there they said free breakfast, after a couple days they said not included. Breakfast was some hard boiled eggs, fruit, pastry, coffee and juice. If you want scrambled eggs it's extra. Not much but it was something, then to tell me that simple little breakfast wasn't included when all hotels include free breakfast and a lot better than that. very disappointing to say the least. I will not stay again in a hotel that's so petty.

Neat boutique hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

This is a boutique hotel close to down town Santa Cruz. The area is clean and safe even at night and is walking distance to tony restaurants, and a very nice public park. The staff is very courteous and mostly bilingual, the accommodations are clean and modern. The Wi Fi service is somewhat slow. They charge you for breakfast, about 5 dollars, the breakfast is plentiful with a variety of choices. The Hotel can call you cabs if you need that are modern and safe something I highly recommend as the cabs in Bolivia are jalopies driven by cabbies who think themselves the local version of Mario Andretti.

Exceptional Staff, good location.

Staff was exceptional, well trained and very friendly. Very clean, new hotel. 10+ restaurants of all price and dining categories within walking distance. Breakfast was a bit bland, would have liked more Bolivian fare offered. Scrambled eggs or omelets would have been a welcome addition to their buffet rather than a paid extra. TV was too small for the size of room. Right across the street from main soccer stadium. I was concerned about noise from games or music concerts but even with 2 games being played during my stay it was not a bother. Streets were a bit noisy during the day and could be heard clearly from the rooms but things were calm at night and not disturbing.

Newer hotel near downtown Santa Cruz

This hotel is only a few years old, maybe three to four years. It is in a good location for accessing central/downtown Santa Cruz. The rooms are clean, well appointed, and pleasant. Parking is limited. I only had the breakfast one day; there were plenty of items available. Wifi is pretty good too. I will definitely come back.

The hotel staff was reasonably helpful.
Their spanish was obviously better than their english, but their english was passable.
Great restaurant/pool floors on top of the hotel (12 or 14 total floors, something like that).
Complaints - Room AC took forever to cool off the room.
The entrance to the hotel is on a side street. A fairly quiet sidestreet, but might be a little disconcerting to those used to streets in the US. It's definitely above average as far as safety and overall appearance when compared to the rest of Panama, but a heads up when the taxi drops you off. I think I paid 15-20 USD for the airport->hotel taxi.

We stayed ten nights at this hotel. The service was good. The hotel was clean and attractive.
The was always somewhat of a stench from the bathroom which is fairly common in Bolivia due to the design of the plumbing vent system
The primary issue we had was the lack of a second shower door to prevent a wet bathroom floor. This is also common in Bolivia but this was the worst of the three hotels we stayed in
The hotel restaurant was very good and the cost was reasonable.
For about $30 more per night you can stay at the Senses Hotel on the main plaza which includes breakfast, has a rooftop pool, gym, etc and better service.
I would stay at LP again but check out all the options on Hotels.com

This is a great hotel. The only problems we had was the wi-fi was down for two days, which was a real pain. And that a member of staff on the desk told me that at 9am I could use the internet cafe at the local cinema complex. But got there to find it opened at 10am and there was no internet cafe. Other than that, a lovely hotel

we booked the suite and it was not what we thought it would be. the room was right by the main street and the windows were paper thin. everything was so loud we didn't get any rest. and we could hear the person on the other room due to a small window in the bathroom that carries the sound and heard the person snoring all night

Excellent Standards in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

The hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. We were upgraded to a suite and Daniel - the manager - was very helpful and even came with the hotel shuttle transfer car to get us at the airport. Breakfast was an extra cost at time of reserving the hotel room, but if you wake up hungry its a great way to roll out of bed and re-fuel without needing to worry about where it can be done.

Honest Review

I am a business person and really know the importance of an honest review of our product or services in the internet. Many reviews in my opinion are not honest or just not fair because of our freedom of speach. I will not keep talking much and in short and honest words I will rate this hotel 4.0 based in 2 visits in the last 3 years :
Services are equivalent to hotel price.
Internet is regular but the whole country has poor internet speed.
Hotel staff is not trained well for the international standards but this is common in many hotels in South America because of low wages from hotel greedy owners.
Rooms are ok need but need it small repairs due to time in the market.
If you plan to visit this city for business and plan to visit costumers but also have small budget I am sure you will not be disappointed on the cost and final experience

Incredible value - highly recommended!

My son and I had to overnight in Santa Cruz en route to southern Bolivia.

We arrived late at this hotel and it was everything we expected from reading earlier reviews. Safe, clean, all the basic services plus a good restaurant. It was the perfect first hotel for arrival in Bolivia.

This hotel is OK...It has a very sterile feeling to it...clean and all the basic are there except the location, which I did not care for. It was just too far away from the central plaza and next to the soccer stadium which was very loud the one night we stayed there. The staff was not all that helpful although they did have a taxi waiting for us the morning we left. Did not use the restaurant because it was closed for dinner and didn't open until 7 for breakfast and we were long gone to the airport.

i got in late and had to get up early to catch a connecting flight, so was really just looking for a beer and a comfy bed. They did have a cash bar, so I got the beer. The room was really poorly lit and not very inviting. The bed was really terrible; hidabed quality. I had to get up at 4:30, so i wasn't bothered by the really noisy air conditioning units kicking on on the building next to my window. No alarm clock and, as i remember, no bar soap either -- just liquid. Everything is tiled, including the hallway, so it's pretty noisy. It was about a 30 minute ride from airport with no traffic.

This hotel is meant for one thing only, to have a place to sleep and get you on your way. The room was clean, the staff nice and helpful, and the breakfast/cafe was very nice. This just wasn't where you would want to stay if you're there a few days and want comfort. The wifi is almost non-existent and there is nowhere in the shower to put your things (Shaving stuff, shampoo, etc) except the floor. The most fristrating part was the air conditioner. If you leave the room, you have to take the room key which cuts the power. So, when you get back, it's a hotbox. Once you do turn it on, if you stand in the right place and hit the right button, you then have several buttons and features on the a/c remote that you have to go through before you figure out what does what. They seriously need something to show info on how to operate the remote because it was very frustrating. In any case, good for an overnight sleep, but not for a few days or more. Also a pretty long way from most of the restaurants and places you want to go to.

The hotel is nice for the price. Front Desk service was excellent. House Keeping not so much. The rooms is not sound-proof at all. The bathrooms are modern but need some maintenance, especially the shower. I would also suggest improvements on the breakfast offering... it's not a reference of the boliviane cuisine at all.

I do not like hotels where you have to use the shampoo as a body wash. And they do not offer wash cloths.
Also the bed was not comfortable and the work area was too small

During my 3 day stay in Santa Cruz, I stayed in 3 separate hotels because it was during a peak travel period because of the Feria Cruz event, so hotel space was limited. The Hotel LP Santa Cruz was clean and comfortable with a minimal work area. The room was large but there wasn't any furniture to fill the space. The breakfast was good although I was late getting down to breakfast so I was rushing to eat before they had cleaned it up.

Clean, modern but somewhat sterile hotel

Good hotel for an overnight stay if you don't mind the price. Modern and very clean hotel (all white inside and out) across from a soccer stadium. Neighbourhood felt safe, as did the hotel. Breakfast felt limited considering the price of the hotel. Airport transfer in the morning was more expensive than the taxi price we had negotiated at the airport on the way in. I would use it again if lower priced alternatives not available.

LP Hotel in Santa Cruz is located in a quiet área that looked safe to us . Close to city center by taxi and 3 blocks away from a lively plaza day or night
Good places to eat close by , like a churrasquería at Cine Center with good local and argentinian meats , cafeterías and even a TANTA restaurant a few blocks away with the same delicious peruvian food they have in their branches in Perú
The building is modern , the suite was clean , spacious and well iluminated . The bathroom was clean
Disliked : they only clean the rooms and replace towels till noon time , under modern standards

Great value and location

I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel LP Santa Cruz. I was originally scheduled to stay three days but extended another three days because of the service and value. If you are looking for a hotel that is near downtown, the plaza, or other sites in Santa Cruz, you cannot get a better location for the price. I am planning to return to Santa Cruz in the future and plan to stay at Hotel LP Santa Cruz.

Nice hotel in quiet neighborhood

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk-5 minute cab ride from the Main plaza. The neighborhood is very quiet but 2 blocks away is a smaller plaza with restaurants, supermarket, bowling alley and lots of people sitting on the benches/walking around. Hotel itself is clean and simple. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would stay here again if looking for a quiet option in S.C.

My favorite Hotel in Santa Cruz

I have stayed here on 3 seperate occasions already and each time I leave satisfied and in awe of how they take care of you. The rooms provide all the comforts of home (their minibar is very well priced) and are also eco-friendly. You place your room card into a slot to activate the power and AC so the room might feel stuffy when you first arrive but after a few minutes the AC cools it down. They provide all shower essentials in case you forgot shampoo etc. What really makes me happy about this hotel is the customer service. They employ trusted cab services to take you anywhere in the city and will tell you the price you should pay there and back so you know you aren't getting ripped off. They recommended a great resort to visit (Biocenter Gembuie is a must-see in Santa Cruz) and even shuttled my phone charger to me at the airport after I forgot it in the room after check-out. I highly recommend the LP Santa Cruz. Also their breakfast buffett is delicious and there is never a shortage of fresh-squeezed orange juice.

The right hotel for your stay

The hotel was perfect for our purposes of interviewing several pastors regarding their desire to begin a Bible school in their churches. The staff was very understanding and helpful. The hotel was clean and well organized. We will stay at LP Santa Cruz again when we return.

Excellent hotel for Santa Cruz, with good prices

In general, the hotel condition is very good. Although it is not located exactly in the \"center\" of SC, it is just 15 minutes walking in a very safe area. A taxi to the center is just 10 bs (around 1,40 $, very cheap!) Anyway, just two block away there is a park surrounded by several restaurants (cheap to expensive) and a big market

In the rooms they offer: mini bar, AC (excellent working condition), pillow selection (I dont used, but as far I remember, they are four types if you want to try) and full satellital tv, given you the chance to select a big variety of international channels

I booked the Junior Suite and the Master Junior suite and both were very nice. For these two rooms the only complain is that they are \"communicated\" through a ventilation tube, so, sometimes you can ear what the people is talking in the other room. You need to close the bathroom door in the master suite in order to avoid that

Complains: bathroom in the Ms. Suite: there was a door missing and the base was some dirty

The breakfast menu is good and they have a expresso machine for your service. However, they can improve the variety if they want to improve the service

I highly recommended this hotel (much much much better that Senses Hotel, suppousedly a 4 stars hotel located in the center and much more expensive) and I will booked the LP hotel in my next time in SC.

Please note that I am a frecuent flyer customer, with a platinum level and I booked many different rooms in a single year.

Hotel LP in Santa Cruz Bolivia

Very good value fro the money, the service at the front desk is great in that they were willing, ready and able to help in any way they could, and the room was very clean. Only thing I would change would be the room size, but given that there were three of us, maybe there weren't any larger rooms fro \"triples\".. Other than that, it's a good, clean, safe place to stay and the free breakfast is terrific!!!

This is the best hotel value in Santa Cruz and a good hotel for business travellers. The rooms are very clean and in good condition with a modern design. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast is included. Suites are very nice and spacious, and regular rooms are decent size. I have stayed here several times and enjoyed it every time. One tip is to book your room online. Several times I have called the hotel itself to book a room but was told they were full. However, each time I have been able to book online through various web sites. Seems they hold rooms for the online booking services, so don't give up if the reception says they are full.

Attentive service - clean and restful

We were in Santa Cruz visiting friends in a nearby suburb, so location in the city was not our greatest concern. But it is within walking distance of the central plaza and even closer to a few very nice restaurants. Rest and calm was our first priority. The design and maintenance of this hotel was just right for us, and at the right cost. We were more than pleased, and we decided to stay here a full week. The staff was always available for us, and the breakfast food and atmosphere very nice.

Overall, a very pleasant 2 day stay at this clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed in the suite which was worth the price. Only complaint was the muzak during the breakfast, which wasn't as good as some of the other nice hotels in La Paz and Sucre. I thought that there would be more tropical fruits but the fruits were actually better in the other two cities. Staff and Service were very good.

One of the nicest hotels in Santa Cruz

This was a nice change from the other \"5 Star\" hotels we looked at; it was actually new and nice. The modern design gave it a very fresh, clean feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was less than the others in the same category which made it also the best bang for your buck. I highly recommend paying a little extra for one of the suites; they have a jacuzzi in the room.

Decent but very average

I was looking for a hotel to spend the night for a flight connection, didn't know there is now a hotel by the airport. It is about a 30 minute drive. If you are landing at night, get the hotel transfer for 99Bs, but during the day a radio taxi is 60 Bs. The hotel is very clean, seems new, in good shape and modern, with AC, bed is just ok, but pillows are good. They have a pillow menu if you are interested. Read the reviews on the noise from other rooms but I didn't hear anything. The shower is not good at all, the water alternates between almost burning and cold, as if it was being pumped in manually. The same for the water coming from the faucet, very annoying. I don't think I would stay here again, too far from the airport. but if you are staying in town, it is a good location. It is very close to the stadium, so check out if there are any events going on, because it could be a mess (unless you are going to be at it). I left before the breakfast but it seems like their restaurant is tiny.

All I can say is that my sister and I are sooooo glad we picked LP Santa Cruz for our stay.....the room was great ,pretty simple and clean just what we needed..and customer service was just outstanding..Jorge from cafeteria...and the people at front desk(joseluis heydie etc.) were just great, always ready to help AND with a smile : ) location great, 5 to 10 min frm everything ,price great, service great ,what else could we ask for..Thanks LP and hotels.com

A comfortable and pleasant stay

The hotel has a wonderful laid back feel about it. It is modern white, airy and open. The room (suite) was nicely laid out and a great view of the stadium. The bed was not the best, but the good and ampel pillows made up for much of this.

New and very clean

Location is not as central as it could be to the Plaza 24 Setiembre. Hotel is noisy if you get a street side room off of the main road, but is also noisy with people until 4:30am. I stayed on two different nights in two different rooms and there is some partying going on that you just can't seem to pinpoint the location, but it keeps you awake all night. The eggs at breakfast were not hard boiled, but were runny inside. Bed is very comfortable, TV is great, room is very clean and bedding is excellent.

Great Hotel. Mint clean, great rooms, safe secure area close to downtown Santa Cruz (within walking distance), great food for breakfast ad very helpful and friendly staff. definetely a five star service hotel.

Excellent breakfast..About 11 block walk (20 minutes) to the main sqare (Plaza de 24 Septiembre). Staff speak limited English, some knowledge of Spanish is very helpful. Hotel is very new.

Excellent service for a very reasonable price!

I have traveled extensively in Bolivia, and I can say with authority that Bolivian service and quality standards are typically quite low. The people are friendly, but the hotels are often very mediocre to even quite dismal. Not Hotel LP! This place is very modern and extremely clean. The staff are attentive and helpful and very willing to work with you so you can get done what you need. The rooms are small, but clean and bright, with huge windows and very effective air conditioners, exactly what you need in Santa Cruz. The location is great, the free wireless internet is fast and relatively reliable (and if it fails there may be other local unsecured wireless networks available) and the included Bolivian-style continental breakfast is well above average. And the prices, while astronomical by Bolivian standards, are a steal compared to what you'd pay for a similar experience in any developed nation. I offer my highest recommendations for Hotel LP!

Recommendation from a Japanese tourist

This hotel is good for tourists who don't like miserable hotel. As far as I know, there aren't a lot of good hotel in Bolivia but Hotel LP Santa Cruz is totally different. The hotel and room are clean, the breakfast is good, and the bellboies are very friendly. I'll recommend all of people who visit Santa Cruz in Bolivia.

Perfect if you look for a clean, friendly and modern hotel in Santa Cruz, within 10 min walk to the city centre. Extremely friendly and quick service. Some nice, easy restaurants in the direct neighbourhood.
