Prince Hotel is a new hotel business in the city of Santa Cruz that offers in 30 rooms four varieties to make the stay of our guests a memorable and different experience. We are located in the central zone of the city, between the first and second ring more exactly, very close to the commercial and business movement; Having at hand several banks restaurants cinemas markets, supermarkets, sports places, entertainment centers, etc.
We have a Restaurant where we offer to our guests and clients a variety of options from our menu starting with American buffet breakfast which includes local tipical meal choices . From Monday to Friday we have an executive menu and a la carte dishes every day of the year in a variety of dishes from light food to international and national food options.
A stay at Shinjuku Prince Hotel places you in the heart of Tokyo, within a 5-minute drive of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. This hotel is 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from Meiji Jingu Shrine and 3.4 mi (5.4 km) from Tokyo Imperial Palace.

Great location to be right in the heart of Shinjuku very bustling and lively. All the shops you need close by and many many food options. We stayed two nights and not a lot to do in terms of tourist attractions in the direct vicinity, used as a base to access other areas. Would recommend if you want that lovely vibe, but if wanting to tick off more tourist itineraries this could only be a day/evening half day trip. The beds were not comfortable at all, on like stretcher legs no bed base for support so were creaky.

For the price, this hotel did not meet expectations. I stayed in a Premium Deluxe King room, and although it was generally clean, it didn’t reflect the higher standard I experienced at other hotels in Japan. Amenities were extremely minimal — only basic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. To have access to the gym an additional amount would be charged daily.
The room was noticeably smaller than the photos suggested, and the layout left a large portion of the space unusable. The ceiling height felt unusually low (around 6’5”), which made the room feel even tighter, and the bathtub was very short — about 4 feet long.
Because of the hotel’s location, the bright lights of Shinjuku came straight through the room at night, and I could clearly hear street noise as well as sound from neighboring rooms. I also smelled cigarette smoke drifting into my non-smoking room. Overall, the location is convenient, but the experience didn’t justify the premium price.

It felt like I was in an airplane bathroom - however there was a constant sewer smell even though it was clean. Not sure if this is a hotel problem or a Shinjuku problem as you can often smell sewer throughout the area.

I stayed here for two nights, and it was a decent experience overall! My only complaint is that when I checked in and took my first shower, there was leftover hair from the previous visitors. It made me wonder if the bathroom had been cleaned at all. I also kept finding blonde hair all over the room, and since my brother and I are brunette, I wasn't sure if the room had been vacuumed as well. Despite this, it was an okay stay and perfect if you just need a place to sleep. Safe travels!

The staff was amazing!!! We had to book with them as a last minute emergency due to a horrible stay at our initial hotel. We literally had to check out of the previous hotel at midnight and had no where to go. Luckily I was able to book a room with them for the next day till the end of our trip but had nowhere to stay for that night. The staff helped us find a close hotel for that night and held our luggage till we returned to check in. The rest of our trip was great because of the Shinjuku Prince hotel and especially their staff. I will only stay at their properties from now on. I even signed up for their rewards program.

The hotel room was decent. Customer service was amazing. Everytime we needed something they provided right away. It was the bed that was not comfortable, it was very hard! After a long day of sightseeing and walking all you want is a nice comfortable bed to go back to. I wished they did better use with the space layout. Everything is in the entrance … bathroom, about a 3 foot counter and the bed..back to back. So it leaves the room feeling very reduced. Also…bed did not have a fitted sheet and the mattress pad was way smaller than the actual mattress. Apparently this is common in Japan but atleast in other hotels the mattress pad is the same size of the bed. Again, service was great. The staff were extremely polite which may the stay a lot more pleasing.
