The hotel’s Expedia website says the following:

Buffet breakfast for a fee
USD 18.56 for adults and USD 8.77
for children

The hotel nonetheless charged me twice that amount for my family, and refused to refund the difference when I pointed out what the website says. So they’re a bunch of thieves. Avoid this place.

It took forever to check in. We stood in line for almost 30 minutes because there were only two staff at the counter and long lines of people. The website says airport transportation included however, if you are traveling out of terminal one, you have to walk all the way. American Airlines is about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away and they expect you to walk.

We like this hotel chain, having stayed in both Puebla and Mexico City. This one is so close to the MEX airport, just a short pedway walk over the road below. We took a shuttle to the hotel when we arrived, because we came into a terminal on the far side of the airport complex, but when we caught our bus the next day, the walk to the other terminal was literally minutes away. The hotel has a spa with a sauna and pool, and the pool was warm enough to be pleasant to soak in, almost like a hot tub. The food in the restaurant was excellent, both at night and the next morning for breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with excellent linens and pillows. The bathroom was attractive, with nice toiletries and a bathrobe. I would definitely stay again.

Expect a long line checking into this property and staff just standing around watching. Three people to check in 50 or 60 guests? Then one of them went on break! No information about check out time posted in the room, no information on where the pool is or anything else. I don't know how they can function.

Location is so convenient if your flight is late and need to rest, the staff is great, the restaurants outstanding but the property needs better maintenance. The water temperature for the shower took more than 20 minutes to warm up which is so inconvenient if you’re are on a schedule. Also I think is a crime to spend so much water in a huge city that has water problems distribution in some areas. The faucet was dirty . It shows some make up stains from previous guests I guess . Overall is good but the water temperature experience was terrible.

It was clean and pleasant, super easy for airport access. We learned that the best way to access the hotel from Terminal 2 is to take the airport train to Terminal 1, then walk to the hotel via the pedestrian bridge. (If you're ok with some walking.) We waited a long time for the hotel shuttle to pick us up from Terminal 2, and never found it. So we took a yellow taxi, but should have done the train to T1, then bridge to hotel.

We had an ok stay for two nights. It's a super convenient location for the airport. But the room is tired to say the least. Poor quality, though the bathroom was nice, though lacking a shower door as part of the design. The bed was good, though the room overall is way below Camino Real standards from my previous experiences. Staff were very helpful. One of the restaurants was dreadful in atmosphere. Lobby is nice. Coffee and other sweets super expensive. But can buy food from airport easily.

The hotel is next to the airport which makes it very convenient for an overnight stay. The room was poorly maintained, but in general it was comfortable. The staff was friendly. I bought Mexican food at one of the hotel restaurants and it was great, expensive though. The room was too cold and the only solution I found was to turn off the AC.

The shower had mold , the fan in the bathroom not working and the room smells horrible and I call front desk the only thing they did spray the room and after 30 minutes the room smells awful again

The location is great the only issue is if you rented a vehicle you have to go towards back to the city and turn around so I would recommend turning it a day before if you have an early flight and then just have the shuttle to take you to the airport

We booked a Club King room and were given one on the 5th floor. There were tiles lifting on the floor of the bedroom. There was no fitted sheet on the bed and the bottom sheet didn't even go to the end of the mattress. I phoned to ask for a new sheet and was transferred to some number that never did answer.
The Club lounge though was good with good service and good food and drink. The appeal for this hotel is it's location right at the airport.

There were about six pillows on the bed and all of them were too soft. The bed covering was way too heavy. They only give two small bottles of water in the room. Locational is excellent walking distance from the airport across a breezeway.

An easy walk across a bridge from Terminal 1-no need to try to organize a shuttle. They seem strict on a 3:00 pm or later check in-I arrived at 2:40 pm and was told I'd have to wait in the lobby with everyone else. I asked for a quiet room and was given one on the first floor, with noise from the room next door, lobby below and roadway outside. Clean room, comfortable bed.

I booked the king suite and it was wonderful. The extra cost was offset by the complimentary snacks and drinks as well as the free breakfast the following morning. In addition the pool and steam room are included too. If you have the extra time, book the suite. You will not be disppointed. The only deduction I gave was for the older facilities in the pool, gym, and spa area. I will stay again on my next trip.

Camino Real is over rated. The room was probably renovated, the bathroom was tight to move around in, floor tile was cracked with pieces missing, counter backsplash had too much caulking all around it, bedroom floor was just cheap snap on flooring. I wouldn’t go back, food overpriced, not a happy customer, sheets didn’t even fit properly.

I stayed one night during a layover for a morning flight. My room was clean, the linens were good quality, and the bed was comfortable although I prefer something firmer. The shuttle to/from Terminal 2 was invaluable. Would I return? Possibly because of the convenience, but if I didn’t have an early morning flight I might consider a property further out.

This hotel is very well located, especially if you need quick and easy access to Mexico City’s airport. It makes arrivals, departures, and short stays extremely convenient.

Even though the property has been around for many years, it is very well maintained. You can tell there has been consistent effort to keep it in great condition. It doesn’t feel outdated at all—in fact, the furniture and overall finishes feel high quality, refreshed, and in excellent shape.

The staff was another highlight. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside for me was the bathroom shower design. It has a glass partition without a door, which means water splashes out easily onto the bathroom floor. After every shower, there was a significant amount of water to clean up, which was inconvenient.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.
