The guy that checked me in the night I arrived at the hotel was pleasant and professional. The young lady that checked me out the morning of 03/15/2026 has a very bad attitude to be working in customer service and assisting at your front desk counter. She was unable or unwilling to provide me with a receipt for my stay. She looked up the reservation and said since it was booked with Expedia get your receipt from them. I'm guessing this was the same associate I had an interaction with over the phone when calling to inquire about check-in times. I asked how long my room would be held since my travel was late and I would not be arriving by or before 3:00pm. Her response to me was harsh and very professional just to say rooms are held until 2:00 am before cancellation. The two mornings of my stay there was no breakfast available. Room service was not provided Saturday morning and when I returned to the room after my day out the room was as I left it and I had to go to front office for clean towels and bath soap. I have stayed at several hotels in the area when visiting my relatives and this was the worst of the worst as far as staff and property.

I had a couple concerns during my stay - check in was smooth and that lady was friendly. However, each other time I had to go through the lobby, the other attendants were lacking. At one point there was a strong smell of weed in the lobby but that could also be from other guests.

The room was decently clean but the bathroom needs attention. There was a hole in the ceiling with an exposed bulb of some kind, the tub didn't drain properly, and the GFI outlet at the vanity did not work.

I only enjoyed the breakfast on my final day - there was no meat option on the hot bar, there were no coffee cups at the bar, and the waffle mix had separated into a gray mess - when I brought it up the attendant said \"Well then there's no more waffles\". I also like to enjoy the juice at my hotels and this was in a different room and I wasn't sure if this was for us to access or not. Finally, the desk and the breakfast attendant must have been the same person because no one came to the desk when I was trying to check out but when I asked she said just drop your card. I needed a receipt.

For the price per night, this was an unpleasant hotel experience. The door to our room would not close without slamming it. The patio door was unlocked & would not lock. My husband actually fixed it himself. There was a brown water stain in the bathtub. The microwave in the room did not function properly. I was very disappointed in the property because I’ve stayed in many other Comfort Suites properties before and this was, by far, the worst. The staff was courteous enough, and the breakfast was adequate, but we definitely could have had a much better lodging experience for the money we paid. Never again.

For a little over $200 a night, I expected at least a clean room and a functioning door. Instead, I got a balcony with a missing handle, a door that fought me every inch to open, and traffic noise so loud it felt like we were sleeping on the side of the highway. The bed was maybe two feet from it, so no chance of pretending it was “ambient city sounds.”

The carpet was filthy, the walls had something that looked suspiciously like dried blood, and the stairs outside were so rusted I half expected them to collapse. The whole place felt tired, neglected, and over it….kind of like me by checkout time.

If you’re looking for comfort, this isn’t it. Comfort Inn can definitely do better than this.

We had a wait a while to check in due to the front desk employee sitting in the back at 3:40PM. There was of line of guest that were waiting, not a good idea to disappear 40 minutes after checkin starts.

You can tell they are trying to update the rooms, but the craftsmanship and execution is laughable.

Our TV would not turn on and we could not even check to ensure it was properly plugged in because they screwed a decorative panel over the plug and tv mount on the wall.

The breakfast, they could not keep up and food kept running out. The scrambled eggs had a gritty texture.

It’s unfortunate because this place has a lot of potential especially with the courtyard pool area… I just believe it is missed managed/lack of funding.

Hotels.com photos does not accurately represent the current condition of the property. Hotel is extremely run down, none of the safety gates are operational, elevators not operational, risers on steps to go up to different levels of the hotel are rested and unsafe. There were orange safety fences to block them off but they were torn down. Rooms smell like must. Flooring is worn out, in need of replacement. Bathroom tiles are uneven due to water leaking out of showers because shower curtains are way too short for the water to stay in. Toilet ran all day and night. Refrigerator did not work. Coffee maker did not work. Lights on the side of the bed did not work. Need I say more.

Beds were clean. Place was run down. Weird smell in lobby. First room smelled mildewy. They did promptly offer to change rooms and let me check it out. Smell better, but both rooms were old and needed definite updating. No sheets/pillows/blankets for pull out. No hairdryer, couldn’t get one till maybe 8 am because no key to housekeeping closet. Musty smell, dirty, poor quality updates, shower didn’t drain, stood in ankle deep water at the end of the shower, ice machine broken, busted stucco on every post in the walkway, stained carpets, cold coffee, one whole wall of outlets stopped working, tried all the gym equipment, only the bike worked, back gate was left open by a block on the ground, seemed to have people living there, smelled weed, some questionable people smoking it out in the open.

When i arrived and checked in and got to my room about 20 minutes later front desk called me and told me i owed a balance. The guy who checked me in only charged me for the deposit. I got back to my room around 10pm on 09/06 and my key wouldnt work. Went to the front desk and was told they only programmed my key for one night, i paid for 3 and had already stayed 2, didnt make any sense at all to me. The manager wasnt available for me to talk to.

I like that the property was located close to restaurants and the mall. What I didn't like was that you can hear thru the doors, so if someone knocked on the door next to you, it sound like they were knocking on your door.

The front desk person was great. She seemed to be the only employee. If you're into loud, noisy, party atmospheres, then this is the place for you. Think South Padre or Panama City during spring break, only with a much older crowd that also brought all their children. The \"locked\" gates are propped open to let in people who aren't staying at the hote which makes you feel like you have to sleep lightly. The pool is open all night with unattended children as well, again, sleeping lightly remember. The room was gross and the bathroom paint was actively peeling off the wall. Look, if you don't really care about comfort, or safety, or peace of mind, then this is the place for you. Me, I'll probably opt for somewhere else.

Comfort Inn you really need to do better.

Well first the hotel looked nothing like the pictures which is false advertisement. The conditions of room was not good, it smelled like mold or a basement. The carpet was dirty, the cabinets were scratched up and needs to be repainted. I don’t feel the price I paid matched the quality of the room, this location needs to be renovated and updated.

Everything was broke in the room and when I told them about it they were nice and offered to move us, but every room they moved us to was worse .And we got tired of going back down there so we kept the broken room and they fixed the shower but there was a roach , stains everywhere. The bathroom door was broken and the bed was hard as a brick, my back still hurts. Outside the room spelled like weed and mildew. All the air conditioners were leaking making the walkway constantly wet.

The property was beautiful about a month ago when we stayed. Room was very clean, smelled great, breakfast was fresh! This time i was disappointed because the room had odor, there were dead Huge cockroaches (tree kind) in the room, they must not clean under sofas, or behind the end tables, no bulb by the bed, no condiments, breakfast was just, ok, the sliced thin ham was kinda hard, couldn't sit in the dining room because the air conditioner was still broken, and the fans were just not cool at all. Im not sure why the decline in such a short period of time, but hopefully it will get back up to \"VERY HAPPY STAY vs NOT THE BEST STAY THIS TIME\"!!

.My atay there was horrible. Upon arrival i walked in the lobby it was extremely HOT they had fans going however it was still HOT. I Went to my room which was supposed to have been a smoke free room. The smoke funes hit you before i was completely in the room. I asked for another room and then air freshener. The place need to be remodeled or rebuilt.

When checking in we were told that breakfast was at 6. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night. There was breakfast at 6 on Friday morning but was not aware it was at 7 on the weekend. If I would’ve known, we could’ve planned accordingly which wouldn’t have been a big deal. It was also written on the keycard 6am. A few other fixes could be the WiFi actually working, faucet for the bathtub did not work, ice machine did not work on the third floor, door to room was hard to open and close, bathroom door was hard to shut and there was rarely anyone at the front desk for assistance. The pool was clean but there were wires sticking out where the lights are. It could be a great hotel but needs an overhaul

I think once they get everything completed it will be a great hotel. has a very nice pool and court yard.

Check in was simple and easy. Room didn't have coffee pot in it and when i asked front desk they said they didn't have any more. The faucet in the shower fell off but i was able to put it back on. Microwave and fridge weren't useable. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. You can tell this use to be a really nice hotel just needs some minor issues fixed. For the one night I stayed it was fine.

Outside looks like a crime scene don't look at the photos they are showing you online this place looks nothing like the pictures, we had 3 families staying here 1 of the other families got out into a room someone was already staying in, we also saw a rat room next door to us was boarded up... Did not feel safe at all had to move the table and chairs in front of the door just so I could sleep

The room smelled like mildew. The floor in the sitting area was slippery and the flooring near the door/AC was squishy and cracking. There was no fridge or microwave in the room despite being on the website. The bathroom door was difficult to close due to uneven tiles. No one refreshed our towels or tidied our room during our stay. No ice bucket was available in the room.

There was a dirty white hard towel handing in the shower upon arrival. The ceiling and rain damage visible inside of the room. The tub had rust in it. Breakfast started 1 hour after the original start Time posted on the wall. I was checked out of my room by staff because a team member did not verify room numbers and went off what another customer said. It was a disturbance to my trip. I would have never booked if u would have know the hotel was undergoing renovations. That should have been public knowledge.

The hot breakfast was not there. Most of the time you had to keep asking to have them bring out something. They never had coffee made and 2 of the 3 days, 4 days, we were there. The coffee was terrible In the first room, we had to be moved because behind the nightstand was condoms, very disappointed.
But it did have a good location and the breakfast when it was. There was good.

This property has far better pictures than what is actually going on there. For starters our room stunk of mildew. The floors were warped, the bathroom had stains on the ceilings. The gym was 90 degrees and humid, so it was unusable. We didn’t eat breakfast, we did use the pool but one day it had pop cans and garbage in it and the other day it was full of yard debris. Our group made up 5 of the rooms and everyone of them had an issue, doors falling off the hinges, warped floors. The one and only PRO—-our A/C was probably the best hotel A/C I’ve ever had. Would I stay here again? Nope, not even if it was free!
