Hotel is very dated furniture/carpet wise, our room smelt horrible, I had to buy air freshener.
The air-conditioning was very very noisy & mouldy in the vents defo need a good clean or replacing.

Breakfast had no real choices, waffles or cereal nothing for my friend who needs gluten free.

Miles from anywhere, Ubers to get to places like Canal Street/ Bourbon Street cost between $18-$40 each way. Told there were no buses by hotel staff but if you walk towards the industrial area for around 20mins you can get buses for
$1.25c.

I reserved 2 rooms not having high expectations. Reading other reviews I understood this was an older building with few amenities. The sheets and towels were clean. Beds were comfortable and staff was excellent. Breakfast was fine waffles boiled eggs etc. Knowing all that our stay was good. We spent all our days out exploring the city, the way our vacation was planned. If you’re looking for a cheap place to lay your head this will suit you. If you’re looking for high quality and luxury this is not the place. It was quiet and secure.

The parking was KINDA secured. Gated entry, but people always standing nearby to get in, it is motion censored so I would open it they would walk in and it would close on me so I would have to do the key card again. Very busy highly foot trafficked area. The staff and room was perfect and reasonably priced though so really no reason to complain.

The hotel was very poor maintenance one of the elevator was out of service as well as the ice machine, vending machine.

The property needs to do a better job in letting people know before they book a room of things that are working was not working instead of having people book and finding out when to ey get there.

First room was filthy with food on the walls and a hole in the shower surround, the bed made a clicking noise when sat on. They moved us to a different room that was clean but very run down with peeling paint, no bathroom fan, mold in shower, 3rd day there the room keys wouldn’t work so had to go get them rescanned. I do not recommend at all

The room was clean, as well as the hallway where we stayed. The staff was very attentive. The only thing I think they should improve is offering a wider variety at breakfast and having both elevators available, since it’s very difficult to walk from one end to the other with luggage.

No telephone in rooms. I stayed Sat-Monday and didn’t receive any room
service. I had to request fresh towels. TV remote didn’t work. The lamps didn’t work. Staff almost left my room door open because she thought we were checking out. She saw me and didn’t ask. I had to ask her why she was leaving my door open. 😡

The property was not what was portrayed on Expedia at all. I’m surprised they even had a 7.0 rating. It was absolutely a bad experience. You get what you pay for. No hot water, no clean amenities, very sketchy area, bath tub was not clean. I hate to leave this review but I would hate for someone to book it and then find out later like I did. They need to possible just remodel the entire thing.

Room was spacious to my surprise. Price was very affordable. Room had a few run down issues like ceilings and snatched out sockets however the room was clean spacious bed comfortable and no bugs so thats still a win. Only thing i didnt like that hitel doesn't give options for late check out because anything cam come up so they will charge from security deposit otherwise no major issues. Check in was simple and i appreciate being able to.pay cash for deposit. Staff was approachable and professional.

The stay was terrible i reached late bcoz of flight and whole night there was a buzz noise from fire alarm and water dripping so loud. Room was hot even after putting it on 66 cold mode. Tried calling no one responded and was too tired to do up and down and walk so far for everything

The lamps in either of the rooms didn't work,the toilet was broken,the microwave was rusted in the inside, and my grand children couldn't enjoy the pool because it was closed. Also the bar of soap was too small to cleanse anything, breakfast consisted only of waffles, cereal and bagels

The room was designated as a \"non-smoking room\" and absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathtub was dirty and the shower curtain wouldn't close because the curtain rod was screwed crookedly into the wall. The bathroom door handle was broken, so the bathroom door wouldn't close. The carpet in the room was dirty and had obviously not been vacuumed. We stayed because we had no other options, but would never stay again.

Room and Hotel are a bit rundown. Included breakfast isn’t served until 7 am. Not even coffee available in the lobby for those who have to leave around 4-6 am for airport. Elevator close to lobby out of service. Lobby bathroom out of service. Just not an overall good experience for the price we paid.

Both beds had stains on them which appeared to be blood stains, the shower had mold and mildew in it, and the toilet seat was broken! And when the front desk was notified, they said they knew it was like that and did nothing to fix the problem! Needless to say, we canceled our stay there!!

The room was overall clean but there was leak. Everytime we showered the carpet was wet but wet between the wall and the bed and alao in front of the bathroom door. It was a baby roach in the bathroom and also the tv reomte didnt work even after we had someone to come fix it.

I was not in impressed with the up keep of the hotel. The elevator was broken we had to walk up the stairs to our room, caring our luggage. The TV was not working properly. We had to call the desk in request for someone to come up for the TV. The desk person that night was nice in came up to fix the TV. She had to leave us with their remote they use for all rooms. She left the remote with us and told us to make sure we returned it to the front desk before we left. They had roaches coming up though the toilet. Will not be staying there again and will not recommend anyone I know to stay there. It would be a nice hotel if they clean it up in buy new carpet, install new bath tub which I was NOT taking a bath in that tub. Some lamps where broken in would not even turn on. REALLY REALLY poorly kept up

Rooms always had an Oder. Stains on the towel seat n bed sheets. Closest area smelled like a a dog. Trash along the wall at the head of both bed. Wasn’t able to change room and u never received my deposit back. I booked 3 times and all 3 times I was unable to get a room nor could I get a refund. Highly wouldn’t recommend for vacation only for homeless

I wasn’t expecting anything great for 49.99 but i feel like cleanliness is a must regardless of the price you pay while staying at a hotel. When we arrived there were several hairs all over one on the sheets which i doubt they changed, one in the shower and some on the floor you could tell the carpet wasn’t vacuumed or vacuumed halfway fridge was dirty and the shower tub had all these debris in there and the shower floor felt like sticky ish as if it had not been cleaned for a WHILE. Do not recommend.
