Por lo general, prefiero compartir mis comentarios directamente en el check-out cuando me preguntan sobre mi estadía, pero en esta ocasión no ocurrió.

Las fotos de la habitación dan la impresión de ser más lujosas de lo que realmente son. El baño es pequeño y algo incómodo, y noté algunos detalles de mantenimiento como el sonido de las tuberías, moho en las juntas de la ducha, cortinas en mal estado y sábanas con algunas manchas.

El desayuno es bastante sencillo, consiste en granola, pan y fruta.

Además, la habitación que me asignaron da directamente a la calle, con solo una reja de separación, por lo que el ruido del tráfico y de las personas se percibe con bastante claridad.

En general, lo mejor del hotel es el precio, pero creo que hay aspectos que podrían mejorar para hacer la experiencia más cómoda.

Pros: Super friendly staff.

Cons: Rooms face the street and any noise outside can be heard, not an easy walk from the center of the town (one mile uphill on cobblestone streets)

Toilet wasn't working properly and it wasn't fixed after the issue was brough up.

Extremely reasonable rate for a quiet room just outside of town. They were kind enough to allow us a very early check-in. They were very accommodating to the two ladies in their 80s that were with me. We stayed on the bottom floor and it was very quiet at night. I didn’t get a chance to visit their terrace but I’m sure the view is great. They have a small café that serves delicious food where you can sip your morning coffee surrounded by a very pretty garden.

Very clean and quiet simple single room with a great shared rooftop patio. Amazing location, easy slightly downhill walk to the Parroquia. The continental breakfast on the patio was wonderful (fruit and granola and a delicious little cinnamon roll with coffee and juice). I will definitely recommend to friends

Loved the location and how quiet it was. Very walkable for us. Only drawback for us was that I should have picked a hotel that had a mini fridge and microwave. I thought we would be fine for 3 days. That wasn't their fault, just something other guests might want to know.

Amazing stay! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were so friendly and nice. The free breakfast was a bit on the lighter side but still delicious. Beautiful property overall and super close to the main centre (only 20m walk) which is lovely to take a stroll along the cobble stone streets and beautiful buildings/landscape. Had a free parking area that was fully guarded and felt super safe. Beautiful rooftop as well.

Spartan but comfortable accommodations on a quiet street, about a 15 minute walk from the center of town. The views from the rooftop terrace are beautiful. All in all, a great value. We would definitely stay here again if we return to San Miguel.

There was a cockroach in the room! It was alive, we have to kill it, however we have to check all over the room inside the beds, drawers and bathroom, if there were more.
Overall the roon was not clean.
TV system with signal problems, slow signal and stopping all the time.
When doing the checkout I talked to the manager, and we only recieved an apologyze. She did not offer us any discount, or any other ammenity. I expected to receive complementary breakfast, or something else. Not coming back.

Las tres personas con las que tuve contacto, la que estaba en recepción y las que estaban en Tereza, muy amables y serviciales

Aunque, tuve una desagradable experiencia
Mientras desayunaba, llego una persona (mujer) y comenzó a regañar a las personas que preparan alimentos en voz muy alta, por un desperfecto de un molino de café o algo así. Incluso tuvo una llamada desde su celular con otra persona, en altavoz, para exhibir a las encargadas del área de supuestamente haber dañado el equipo.
Una experiencia muy desagradable. Ignoro quien haya sido la persona, pero muy mal tacto para resolver el problema
Ojalá y se haya disculpado con sus colaboradoras

This is a hidden gem!
We arrived at midnight, and were warmly greeted by Anna and Mario. We were running a little hungry. Anna made a wonderful quiche for my wife and I. We were made to feel like family arriving to their home. The next morning we woke up and sat down to the most amazing continental breakfast with fresh fruits, granola, homemade yogurt, and à la carte preparations. The espresso was exquisite! The other staff were so accommodating. When it came time to depart for the airport Mario arranged for a driver. The night before we shared a breathtaking view of a beautiful sunset on the rooftop. We will be back!

The Hotel was amazing and well kept. The staff were warm and friendly and always cleaning the hotel grounds. The hotel manager, Anna, was so kind and helped us make reservations on two occasions. She was always will to help and make us feel at home. I would definitely go back.

Had the best experience ever. My flight got cancel and Ana was very kind and kept in touch with me once she knew I was running late. She was there once I informed her I was finally heading to the hotel.
Loved my room, it was cleaned, staff was kind and very friendly. Breakfast was great!!!!
I highly recommend this place, the view at night of the city was amazing.

Best Hotel Ever!!

This was the most beautiful hotel! The staff was beyond kind to us. They had delicious breakfast for us every morning, cleaned our room every day, and Juan was available to us at any time. This was truly amazing. I have no bad comments!! Downtown was only about a 10-15 min walk or a 5-7 min drive. They were truly such nice people and a very beautiful hotel. Will come again!

About 10minutes walking distance to downtown. We felt safe and place is clean. Service and free breakfast is great! The only bad thing I would say is that our room was on the ground floor and you could hear every single step that people took going to the rooms above ours. I would suggest the hotel to give ear plugs to room in lower level. I’m sure rooms in second floor dont have this issue. Everything else was great. Would stay again but in second floor rooms.

Positivo: El lugar es limpio y tienen una linda terraza, el poco personal es muy amable.
Negativo: La habitación donde nos quedamos no tenia AA, solo un ventilador pequeño, mucho calor y poca ventilación, baño diminuto y camas muy poco cómodas. La distancia caminando al centro no es para nada cerca. y la zona donde esta en hotel se llega a percibir un poco insegura para caminar de noche.

The hotekl management reacted very understanding to our accidental double booking. i first had booked only 1 night which I extended later to 2 nights. Something didn´t work out with my cancelation. They canceled the night we didn´t need without charge.
Good stay in general, pretty much as expected when booking. Short walk into town, parking inside the hotel and room as imagined.
Online classes couldn´t be taken due to bad internetconnection and we didn´t like the breakfast too much

Bastante tolerante Casa Goyri con nuestra reservación. Hice un cambio de 1 día a 2 días pero algo no funciono con mi cancelación de la primera reservación de 1 día. Nos cancelaron esta reservación sin problema.

El hotel cumplió con lo que queríamos para nuestra estancia. El centro de San Miguel fácilmente alcanzable a pie, tal como lo describieron en la pagina. tuvimos el estacionamiento en el hotel y el cuarto triple con la cama king y una cama individual nos dio cierta comodidad en la noche.
Se nos complico la clase en linea de los niños porque el internet no era muy fuerte ni estable, así día libre para los niños.
El desayuno no nos gusto mucho y ademas terminamos pagando una parte aunque lo tuvimos incluido. Preguntamos las opciones que tuvimos para el desayuno pero no nos indicaron que lo que pedimos no era incluido. La 2nda mañana desayunamos fuera.

We were there during a hot spell and there was no air conditioning. It was hard to cool the room down for a good nigh's sleep. Otherwise, everything met expectations. It was a very easy walk downhill to the town center and an easy taxi ride back at the end of the day.

Very nice guesthouse. Lovely staff. Comfortable room and bed, just need a small table to work on laptop. Hot water, Wifi, breakfast were all good. Gated parking. Located on a hill just under a mile from the historic center. The roads are awful cobblestone but this entire city is like that. Terrible for the car, especially the stealthy speed bumps that are hard to notice.

Lugar sencillo pero súper limpio con todas las medidas de seguridad, cada habitación en la entrada tiene su tapete con sanitizante y al interior hay gel antibacterial y un atomizado igualmente para sanitizar tus pertenencias, y en la puerta hay un identificador con la última fecha de sanitizacion de la habitación. En el lugar es tranquilo y el personal muy amable. El desayuno muy bien. Sin duda lo recomiendo

La mejor ubicación para moverse caminando al centro. Estacionamiento seguro cien por cien. La atención una maravilla. Habitaciones lindas, acogedoras e iluminadas. Agua purificada ilimitada en la habitación. El extra que se disfruta al máximo la terraza con asador, pantalla, sala con fogatero. Regreso cada vez que venga a SMA.

Fue una experiencia desagradable por decirlo menos, luego de múltiples llamadas por parte del hotel confirmando nuestra hora de llegada hicimos el check in 4:30 pm; decido tomar una ducha y el agua no evacuaba por el sifón, reviso y eran pelos obstruyendo el desagüe.
Formulo la queja y nos ofrecen cambiar de habitación pero ya cansados decidimos dormir ahí. No pudimos descansar pues las habitaciones dan directamente a la calle y es una vía transitada, las puertas son de vidrio, hay insectos vivos y muertos en las paredes, las camas están desajustadas y detrás de las habitaciones hay obras civiles en ejecución. Es lamentable esta estafa. Pagamos 3 noches y solo tomamos la primera. Salimos de ahí tan rápido como pudimos

Me encantó mi estadía, todo super cómodo, muy amables, el lugar está hermoso, cerca del centro en fin muy buen lugar para llegar a San Miguel de Allende, por cierto les recomiendo los desayunos del lugar está delicioso
