The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. The shower was hard to get to run hot and then it kept going cold. Breakfasts are fresh and beautifully cooked by Richard.
I was on my own and the only pesrson in the guesthouse, the first night. I picked up my card key from the porch, no one there to welcome. It would have been a nice touch if there had been.

What a beautiful place this is! Absolutely amazing scenery. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is included and we were expecting a cold buffet. Oh no, full English or really, whatever you wanted. We went for poached eggs on toast and they were perfect. I would certainly recommend this beautiful little part of Cheshire.

The wall hill farm guest house was ideal for our stay , everything was to our liking. The 2pm check in time was perfect and made a pleasant change, made us feel we had a full day on arrival then able to walk to the nearby restaurants for evening meal

The location is beautiful and the breakfast service and quality is excellent.
My only real complaint is that the bed in the Feng Shui room could do with a new mattress and duvet as both are a little lumpy.
Overall I'd recommend it for the cost though.

this property was in the lovely countryside but with a local train station that took you to Crewe and then onto Manchester within an hour. Also a great local pub . The property was comfortable and the Breakfast was amazing and the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights in so called superior room which was very musty smelling upon entry. The room was extremely dated and old fashioned. The polyester duvet and cover which only had one button on, was well worn with holes in it. The towel had a rip in and the door stop was completely covered in rust. The curtains were in parts coming off the rail and the view was the brick wall of the building opposite. The booklet in the room was also dated with pubs in there that had closed down years ago. The breakfast was good .

Super-convenient for Liverpool/Widnes/Warrington area and so easy to find. Lovely hosts and, as everybody says, a brilliant brekkie home cooked to order. Stayed in what our hosts billed as the nicest room in the house and it is lovely. Laura Ashley type furnishings and really comfortable and well as having a spacious bathroom. Absolutely perfect for what was needed and thank you for looking after me so well.

I admired how luxurious to where I was staying for my very first time. One of the owners of the Guest House named Richard who can not only whip up a scrumptious breakfast, conversing with him in learning more about the surroundings and to how he and his wife Pam came to running a gorgeous Guest House.

Wall Hill Farm Guest House is a hidden gem that my wife and I loved spending a week at. Firstly, the staff are great, the owner/chef could not be more accommodating and made us feel really welcome and that nothing was too much to ask. The Housekeeper was awesome, she was an absolute delight, she did a great job looking after us and she could not have been a more lovely person.

Secondly, the property is great, easy access to plenty of good and convenient parking and everything in easy reach, the property itself is lovely and finished to a very good standard. The location was perfect, quiet but a short drive to everything one might need.

Value for money was outstanding, the breakfast choice and quality was fabulous. When my wife and I next travel to the UK, we will start looking for a place to stay here, but I wouldn't be surprised if availability was limited, once you have been here, you will definitely want to come back. Thank you to all at Wall Hill Fram Guest House, you provided a faultless stay for us.

Oriental Room.

Room 5 Oriental. Bad points first! : Quite dark ( 20 Watt main bulb). Incessant buzzing sound from electrical consumer unit (label says inspection due in 2009 - hopefully they just haven't updated the label on the unit). Hairdryer is exceptionally noisy and not very effective. TV needs better instruction to operate ( you'd think one could just switch it on with the remote.). Guest book in the room indicates 2 different breakfast times ( about 2 pages apart).

Good Points. Attractive decor. Breakfast very good , room clean ( bit of light dust around bed side lamps). Shower excellent. Bed comfy. Stayed 2 nights. First night, room too hot ( in February) couldn't sleep. Second night, turned underfloor heating off and opened windows...slept well. Owners friendly and cheery. Ample parking. Key operated doors.

About a 10 min walk to the nearest pub/restaurant ( down the hill . We preferred the Riverside Inn to Leigh Arms ( strong smell of fish meals).

I would highly recommend this value for money stay

This is a lovely location, we wanted something near the motorway south of Manchester, it was an overnight quick stay for us and we stayed in the Country Room, it has a lovely atmosphere the bathroom is amazingly spacious and we made use of the piping hot bath after standing watching the football all evening. The check in was a key left out, which worked really well with no fuss or bother, as was check out, also. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order and delivered in a lovely dinning room.

Small guesthouse with 7 bedrooms, room was lovely and homely, very clean also. Bed very comfy. I found it easy to get to, location is rural but only half an hour away from Manchester/Liverpool and all importantly Cheshire Oaks! There isn't a restaurant for dinner but the owners provide takeaway options which you can eat in the dining room. Check out is at 10am and while i waited to leave (meeting at 11:30) i sat in the lounge area off the dining room which was comfy and nicely decorated, i was also offered a cup of tea while i sat there. Breakfast was also very nice with eggs from their chickens and bread they make themselves.

Overall a lovely guesthouse. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if i were in the area.
