A fantastic place to stay for visiting Victoria Falls! I stayed in one of the rooms within the campsite part of the grounds. It was perfect for what I needed - a comfy bed and a clean private bathroom. The basic rooms don't have TVs but it wasn't missed as I spent most of my time on the riverside patio at the restaurant! Having the Safpar booking office right on site was super convenient. They were able to arrange a trusted taxi driver who provided return transport to the falls, as well as airport transfer. It's probably a bit cheaper finding taxis outside of the hotel, but this was definitely a convenient option. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the pizzas 🍕 I would definitely stay again!!

Only slight gripe, and it might not have been the Hotels fault was that the WiFi tended to drift in and out. But overall fantastic value for money.

A bit noisy before 10:30 on Wed. night and lots of mosquitoes in tents but bug spray was ready to be used in the tents and took care of the problem rapidly.

We stay every visit to Livingstone, probably 4-5 time in as many years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Activities centre right next door to reception so plenty to choice from.

This was out 4th visit to the Victoria Falls Waterfront. The welcome is always exceptional - warm and friendly. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pools are clean and inviting. The bar and food are run to a very high standard. I understand that the lodge is owned by the company which provides safaris and other activities in the area so booking these is easy. We have now done a walking safari 4 times and see and learn new things each time. Cannot recomend this place enough.

I loved the location next to one of the lakes the feed into Victoria Falls. The turndown service was great for preparing your mosquito net and spraying the room to keep the bugs out as much as possible. It had a very real wildlife experience feeling. The people were safe however, I had security walke to my room after dark because of the baboons. I just don't trust baboons. Also it was dark. The only con on the hotel was my shower drain wasn't working properly.

The staff were wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. Lubasi, the manager is a great asset to the Victoria Falls Waterfront, as is all the staff. My only hope is that the management really know how how special the staff are.
The breakfasts were amazing, and included in the price. The dinners I purchased were all so good and delicious. Compliments to the chef and staff.

Choice of two restaurants and bars, although the Sunday night buffet at the higher end part of the hotel was overpriced for what was offered. Wood oven pizza was good. Fairly comfortable beds, very limited number of channels available on the TV. But that is not what you are there for anyway!

My wife and I had a lovely long weekend stay at the Waterfront. It it in a brilliant location and boasts some stunning views. The partnership with the neighboring hotel also means there's an alternative place to eat and relax just next door. The rooms are fairly simple but have what you need to enjoy your stay. No televisions, which means you do feel very 'unplugged' from the noise. The staff are all very kind, welcoming and helpful.

A bit run down. Getting a good shower just wasn’t possible. We stayed in one of the executive suites. The balcony right on the river was great, but really buggy, so you don’t use it very much. I’m old and I think the waterfront would be perfect for someone young and on a budget. Next time, I will stay next door at the David Livingstone.

Beautiful place to stay & see the great sites in the area. My riverfront room with peaceful patio was wonderful. I’d sit out with my coffee in the morning & watched a couple monkeys playing in the trees! Everyone was so very helpful, meals were good & reasonable. The only problem was getting water mixed correctly in the shower—seemed to go from very hot to cold—was hard to regulate. Otherwise, everything was wonderful & I made new friends from all over!

This is a lodge in an amazing location where you can sit and have a beer (or other drink) beside the Zambezi and watch the lovely Zambian sunset.
It's not a palace and for the cost you would not expect it to be. That said, it is clean and friendly and the staff are always willing to help.
They can organise any tours or experiences for you and I find that they provide excellent value for money.

I had been here before, that is why I came back. A very welcoming staff who were all very charming and efficient. Lovely location and good food. An especially good 'English' breakfast included! The tour office offers excellent tours and trips. I used one of the tents which are perfectly comfortable and great value!

Can't beat the Waterfront
I have stayed at the Waterfront previously, and it maintains its lively and adventurous atmosphere, great service, reasonably priced good food and full bar, and its status as a one-stop shop for arranging all activities in the area. The location on the river is superb, the deck and bar area and pool are rustically inviting and picture-perfect at dusk, and the on-site travel agency makes planning one's entire agenda while at Vic Falls a breeze. The staff is always gracious and attentive, and small in-room inconveniences were immediately addressed. Extraneous requests were remembered and generously granted by management and staffers. The riverside room with a terrace, reached walking over the very colorful footbridge with its tree cover and running stream, offers the kind of environment one would want in such a place as Vic Falls. The hotel offers notably close-by access to key activities -- safaris to Chobe and Mosi-ao-Tunya parks, the falls, microlight flights, rafting, and the sunset cruise departing from its dock. Patrons are of all ages and nationalities. A great lodging experience.

This was very unpleasant as they started up the generator around 06h00 daily. One evening it even ran up until 23h00 after we asked them to turn it off.
The tents were not full, our feeling is that we could have been placed in a better unit due to the length of stay.
First taxi fair from the airport was ridiculously expensive and not related to any of the other taxi fees we paid during our stay.

The upgraded us on arrival which was really nice! The staff was excellent. The free breakfast was delicious. The only downside was that there wasn’t a lot of hot water and there were ants in the shower, but I think the rest of the amenities definitely made up for it!

Old stand alone structures. We stayed in an upstairs room with an old, wooden, external stair to the room. I discussed with the family how we would escape if there was a fire. There was no fire alert system. If the wooden stairs were on fire, it was a 10 foot drop over the balcony onto the grass. There were a multitude of mosquitoes in the room. Thank goodness for the mosquito nets over the beds at night. The lodge staff were very pleasant.

The setting was great. I had a riverfront chalet directly in front of the Zambezi. Very quiet, nice room, clean, with bottled water and coffee/tea. Breakfast was pretty good. Takes only 5-7 minutes to drive to Livingstone and it was only about 15 mins from the border by taxi. Lodge took several currencies and the staff were friendly.

We were saddened by the room that we were given. It was not what was shown on your website. Therefore we ended up paying over R12000 to stay where we wanna stay on top of what we paid already.

Two things make this hotel outstanding - the location and the staff. The bar/restaurant is right on the banks of the Zambezi, one evening (enjoying a crocodile kebab) we saw a crocodile swim past upstream then come back later with a buck in his jaws.
Some rooms are in the main block with views over the river but we were in an adventure lodge, one of 16 chalets in a square. It was compact but comfortable with all amenities including air con. It’s right on the edge of the national park so game drives start at the gate (top tip: get an early start)

This property has the best location, right on the Zambezi and close to the activities and Victoria Falls. The restaurant and several hotel rooms have spectacular views of the African sunset.

It was amazing. Let me thank the manager, who was very understanding. Had a lovely chalet, had beautiful experience in the tent, the staff are well trained and of high integrity. Very kind staff. Food portions were massive and well prepared. I enjoyed brown nshima with stew.

Great Atmosphere and Value for Money
We stayed in tented accommodation at this venue, but will not make use of it again, even for two persons the tent is too small. Have looked at the chalets which are excellent will, definitely make use of them on a next visit. Location of this venue is excellent close to town center and Victoria falls and great views along the Zambesi river. Staff are very friendly and professional and foods are well prepared, especially the pizzas. The restaurant and bar has a great vibe after a day out on excursions.

Loved staying here, especially being right on the river! You can see the spray! Good food, good staff, clean rooms, and with Saf Par activities on site it was so easy to coordinate things. They were great about answering all our questions. We had quite a few mosquitoes in our room but that’s hard to help and they came and sprayed the room during our stay which was great. We were in the four person chalet with inside bathroom which was just fine. Thanks for a great visit!!!

From the time we arrived the staff were excellent & helpfull. The rooms are very nice, with great beds (ours was a double), airconditioned and nice big showers. The bar, and meals I cannot fault !! We will be staying again in two years time.
