Our stay at the Baymont by Wyndham was extremely disappointing and concerning. We were not aware at the time of booking that the property houses long term guests, which significantly changed the environment and overall feel of the hotel.

There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the property, including in common areas. The hotel did not appear clean and our room was in unacceptable condition. There was what appeared to be black mold present, which raised serious health concerns for our family.

Most importantly, the property did not feel safe. When traveling with family, especially with children, safety and cleanliness are the minimum expectations. Unfortunately, this location did not meet either standard.

I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a clean and secure place to stay.

Our first room had crumbs in the corners and around the bed. Additionally, when our son got into bed there were blood stains on the sheets and mattress cover. When we got to our second room, an almond and other food was on the floor, the remote had no batteries and a huge urine stain was on the mattress cover where my husband was sleeping. There is dog poop all in the yard and on the sidewalk. There is only one person working at night by themself. The positives- great breakfast options, fun pool/hot tub and nice staff. I would not go back due to lack of cleanliness.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! They lied to us about early check in. Our first room smelled like smoke. They moved us to a cleaner room but it was near a mechanical pump was running and was super loud so I couldn't sleep. They refuse any refunds even if it is their fault or negligence. Their tap water is cloudy and smells like chlorine. They don't have extra pillows for guests. Maintenance is slow. We had a clogged toilet and they didn't come up to look at it before we checked out. Their app charges $20 for late checkout but the front desk will cancel the request and charge you $30. They require a $100 refundable deposit they don't tell you about until you get there.

This hotel has thin walls and was incredibly noisy. People were blaring music. LOTS of kids here because they try to be kid-friendly. The front desk person isn't there in the evenings so if you have any trouble at night, you are on your own.

We originally booked at the Best Western but found out that Expedia was wrong and there is were no dogs allowed there. So then we booked here at Baymont. We regret that we didn't pay more and go elsewhere. This place reminded me of a college dorm. Noise, people and kids in the hallways, no one taking complaints seriously, and nickel and diming with fees for things that are normally free.

I honestly dont know where to start. The cannabis smoke in the hallway and seeping into our room, the broken heater, falling out tile grout or black mold taking over the bathroom. We spent minimal time in the room and did not notice the mold until our last day. General Manager Eric Scott refused to offer any remedy or even respond to emails.

We paid for our room through Expedia, but when we arrived after driving in hazardous conditions, we were told there was no room and the payment was declined. This was not true. I pulled up a copy of the receipt, itinerary number and reservation number for the staff at Baymont. They were not helpful or customer friendly so I called Expedia. Expedia ended up transferring our room to another hotel due to the staff not answering their phone call so this issue could be resolved. On a side note, I waited over 20 minutes for staff to present to the front check in counter upon arriving to this establishment.

We checked in on a Tuesday afternoon the young man at the front desk was professional. Room was nice, bed had new sheets, all towels looked new as well. Heater worked fine too. Asked at front desk to have our room cleaned 3 times on the 3 day, on the 4th day we asked the house cleaning people on our floor to clean out room. They did a good job. This hotel also helps out local with people that are in need a room for the night......

We always stay at the Baymont GH when we're in town a handful of times a year. Great place for the price. Clean, comfortable, everyone is always friendly. My only picky criticism is that the rooms are pretty dark. Dark furniture, low lighting. But good for sleeping. :)

I am partially handicapped and was totally disappointed that the hotel did not have an elevator for the 2nd floor and you were sold out on the first level and I can see why, no one wants to carry luggage and other things up the stairs at the hotel, that is ridiculous. Breakfast was not very good and would not eat it and the TV had a very limited amount of channels, at least the TV in our room.

Most imortant tjing is NO ELEVATOR! We were on the 2nd floor and husband with bad knee had to climb stairs! When I asked about where the elevator was, the grntlman at the desk said they dont have one. When I told him my husband has a bad knee that he is getting ready to have surgery for.....he tells me oh...im sorry.
Then get to the room....the toilet has no water in the tank. I turned the water valve on to fill the tank. Go back in about 1/2 hour later wither water on floor, coming fro. Water line on toilet!
Wont stay here again!!!!

The GOOD: The bed was Crisp, White, and Clean and Comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Kudos to house keeping!!!! (give a raise $$$) Dining area was clean, and the cook was very attentive at each breakfast. Selection was normal for Hotel Buffet.

The BAD: The room was Musty and Damp on arrival, but cleared in about 12 hours. The AC was loud and clunky at first, but MUCH more tolerable day 2.

The UGLY: Front Desk, Stairwell look like a show on HOARDERS. Cluttered and very non-professional for a Wyndham brand.

The NASTY: The Orange Juice for breakfast is \"BROWN\" and seal small containers with worthy expiration of November 2025. BUT processed cheap no name brand.

So it got a GOOD, because it could be SO much better.

We were visiting the area and decided to stay an extra day. That morning we stopped at the hotel and asked for a room. They were quickly able to arrange a room for us. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The public areas were also very clean; as well and being quiet. The breakfast had a large number of options. I have stayed here several times and will continue to stay here when visiting.

*Condition of building was not that great. My shower rod was held on by 8 very different screws and the towel rod was on shaky legs.
*No elevator
*No one changed out towels for 3 days. We had to ask front desk for towels. Saw others just dumping their used linen outside the doors so we probably we not alone. Not sure if you are supposed to request room turn over.
*No towels in pool/hot tub room. The reason was \"because people were taking them back to their rooms.\"
*You have to watch that the wifi was still connected.

Consistent service throughout the years. You know what to expect each time. Not walkable to anything because of the avenue and lack of sidewalk access, but parking is good. Upon entering our way over priced room (hotel is very outdated and flooring - everything's filthy) Our room smelled like dirty dog. Completely repulsive. I went to front desk to request a new room and the front desk person Logan said if we used the room at all say went to the bathroom we'd have to keep that room because their house cleaners were gone. They confirmed we were put in a \"dog room \". They sent a person up to inspect our room to make sure we didn't leave it in anyway untidy and continued to tell us even if we had to go to the bathroom expecting the room wasn't going to be unpleasant that all they could do was spray some room deodorizer. Logan continued ranting in a passive aggressive way somehow making us feel guilty for possibly using the bathroom before realizing how repulsive the room was and if that was the case we'd be stuck with the smelly room. No empathy and no service you'd expect from any hotel much less one charging almost $300. I will never spend another dime at a Wyndham hotel. Horrible

Good overall if you stay off the carpets and chair

The free breakfast was great with hot food and so much selection for other types of food. The seating area was small and hard to find a seat if you came after 8 am. The coffee was very week and could be greatly improved on.

The beds were clean and very comfortable. The pool area was great. We spent a lot of time there with the grandkids. The pool towels could be bigger. It took two to three for an adult.

The carpets are filthy and need a good cleaning. Our grandson was crawling on them and his hands, knees, and feet were black. The chair in the room was also filthy. It should be replaced with one that can be wiped clean.

The water pressure was great and hot water always available. However, the drains were missing and the sink was stopped up. New fixtures should be put in the tub and sink.
