The back entry doors don’t lock, when I told the desk, they said they would deal with it “tomorrow” and the rooms weren’t exceptionally clean.- even posted a sign that says “to conserve water and detergent, we wash sheets and towels every 3 days.”
While that may be acceptable at home, it’s not - for a hotel where different people sleep every night

Our first room had a toilet that moved so they switched us to another room.
The second room sink was draining slow, the top draw came off sliders (which need to be tighten or replaced) the TV had fragment picture quality, the lamp on table was missing the screw that held the lamp shade!

The general manager is a “hands on” guy and it’s obvious that he is. All of the property is well maintained and attractive.! The check in and out process was simple and efficient. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend it.

Not happy about check in

We arrived early unfortunately we weren't able to check in which was understandable it was noon. The manager took our name and number and said he would get someone on it as soon as he could and they give us a call. The call was at 10 minutes to 3:00. Stated he was short-staffed and her room was not ready yet. Arrived at 4:00 and asked why he didn't call us back and said he didn't want the negative feedback and over talk to me the entire time so I couldn't even express my feelings. I wasn't angry but he wasn't listening at all. A jolly attitude with poor customer service, it's hard to do but he accomplished it.

The property was clean,but my room window smelled like cigarette smoke, the bottom two drawers Were broken and pilled on top of each other. The heater was not working but a staff member came in and fixed it. There is stuff to do but you will need a car. The pool and hotub are always crowded with children they should have at least one hour for adults only maybe 9-10 before it closes for the night.

Caliber of other guests were atrocious. A family stayed above us and the children ran around back and forth until 1:00 am. Then a guy smoking pot in the parking lot until 3:00 a with the radio blaring- A previous guest had cut open the coffee condiment bags to remove the straws- drug paraphernalia. Spend more money and stay somewhere else!

The breakfast is \"Garbage\" processed, pre-packaged waffle mix, cereal which is garbage, yoplait which is high in sugar corn starch & additives. The gym needs mats, foam rollers, combo leg curl/leg extension and Adduction/Abduction combo piece. There are only 2 sets of dumbbells a 5 lb & 10 lb pair.. Why to hotels/motels do such crappy gyms?

2 star hotel with 4 star price on festival weekend

Went to this hotel with family for a festival. The staff was kind, but paying a premium rate I at least expected the beds to be made and the towels replaced. Our room was never cleaned and on one night the smoke detector went off for no reason. The breakfast was just cereal and breads, nothing hot. The kids enjoyed the pool, which was the main reason I chose this hotel.

The hotel was ok but it’s an older hotel and it needs renovations. Our room had a stale odor in it when we arrived and the front desk came in and sprayed air freshener and it helped but we went out and came back and the odor was back. We ran out and purchased some Glade Air Freshener and we had to spray it every time we came back to the room. We felt that the hotel could have been better.

Let's start with the positives: it was clean and the staff friendly and wanting to please. It was easy to find.
Negatives: The bathroom was tiny - barely room to close the door near the toilet. The nearest place to eat was a local dive with plentiful, cheap food and beer.
The best I can say about the Baymont? It had the only 2-ply toilet paper in our more than 5,000 mile road trip.
