Only thing i will say is for long stays, they do not clean your room. If you are staying long periods, they need to clean rooms more than just when you check in. after a week,Trash piled up in rooms and no clean towels. Need it to be cleaned without a cleanign fee. the cleaning fee is always in the hotels room cost. this one is not i guess. they try getting more money for second cleaning

We have stayed at this hotel previously. The staff were helpful. The place was very clean. It’s an older property smelling a little musty. The beds were comfortable and the place was quiet on a very busy weekend.

Our room was above the pool and it was very loud until the pool closing of 9 pm although the room was clean we could not adjust temperature in the room. Next day went down to lobby to get coffee found staff to be rude.

Half of the rooms face the indoor pool. They have clouded out the windows so you can't see, but not enough to block the bright light. The drapes have huge gaps at the ceiling and walls, so tons of light comes in all night long. The pool is closed but they keep the pool lights on like high-noon. But then, in the morning you can't see any daylight because it's a window facing inside the building. It's like sleeping in a cell. Can't turn off the light, but also can't see daylight. It's a nightmare and impossible to get a good night's sleep.
I asked to be moved but the front desk lady said she couldn't move me because it was prepaid. Well, if I'd known I'd be sleeping casket, I wouldn't have booked this hotel. I find it ridiculous that they don't warn you this hotel will throw off your circadian rhythm with these stupid windows.
Also, the fridge ran all night, constant loud buzzing. It was awful and between the light and the buzzing, it was sensory overload while I'm trying to sleep. I would have been better off sleeping in my car!

The room and hotel were clean upon initial glance. Renovations made the hotel look on par with your normal hotel brands. However, our bathroom ceiling was leaking, hotel staff were sparse, lobby coffee was bitter and cold, there's no elevators to the 2nd floor for your bags. I didn't really have high hopes for a Red Roof brand, but I still wouldn't likely stay again.

Hotel was great for accepted students day at Cortland. Centrally located, very easy to park, very clean and comfortable. No carpets in the rooms which felt so much more clean. Kitchen in our room was also amazing with a full size fridge. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

The staff was polite and the property was clean. The rooms are pretty basic . Paper thin walls (was woken up several times by noise in other rooms and the hallway), poorly lit. The most concerning was my room was given to someone else and they tried entering at 2:45AM, which was pretty upsetting. Will not return, there are other properties in the area.

This is a newly renovated property that felt brand new. The room was comfy and clean, spacious enough for three adults to share. We enjoyed the pool area for a while — had it to ourselves which was nice — although it is not a heated pool and is only 4’ deep at the deepest part. It’s walking distance to Dunkin, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Starbucks. Short drive to more restaurants and bars. Staff was super friendly and more than happy to help with extra towels, etc.

Bed was soooooooo comfortable! We normally stay in Binghamton when we travel north overnight, but this place was a little further north, which made the rest of the trip fairly easy the next day. The staff was lovely, the bed was so comfortable and the layout was really well done. We’d definitely stay here again. Convenient parking too. The only thing misleading was the “restaurant” advertised. We thought it included breakfast but not only could we not find the restaurant, I know believe that it’s meant for conferences only. I will say that cleaning person working that night was a delightful young woman who was extremely through in her work and very pleasant to talk to. I tried not to scare her but she was listening to music while she worked and didn’t see or hear me. Even though I think I scared her to death, she apologized to me! Not necessary but so much appreciated. Give that girl a raise! I wished I’d gotten her name because she was an absolute gem! ♥️

The bed was great. The room is functional, 2 kitchen chairs, small table, full sized fridge microwave and small sink for the kitchenette; no utensils. The storage spaces for clothes and things are open and well organized. Needs more overhead lighting, a desk, a living room chair and luggage rack. No problems with free WiFi. The coffee machine could have had more supplies and saved my wife a trip downstairs. Why three stars for the facility? No elevator and needed to go through 3 doors to get to my room. Aside from that it served my purposes but I could have got the same or better for $30 less at the holiday inn down the street.

Our hotel room was very, very clean. However, the room was noisy at night with noise from the highway directly next to the hotel, the under-window heating unit, and the refrigerator. The windows, which were obviously original to the property, were drafty and did not keep ANY outside noise out- so much so that I got up the first night to make sure the window was closed. If noise does not bother you, this was a very convenient location and a good value for the price.

Booked 2 Queens and got 2 full size instead. Floor in room was unusually crooked and not level on ground level floor. Bed frames were cheap lightweight rolling bedframes that moved every time we sat on the bed, feeling very unstable.

The staff at check in was fine. Overall the hotel was clean.

I prompted the conversation by asking if I could check in and she said she was waiting for a guest to return. The hotel staff do their jobs. Looks like they renovated the hotel but done cheaply. The halls are filled with strong air freshener spraying constantly like they are covering up a smell. The first room we got, had water damage in the bathroom and I suspect mold because my chest was tight the next morning after sleeping there and my son started wheezing. That morning, I asked for another room and they gave us that but that room vent in the bathroom was oozing dust, like it hadn’t been clean in years. That night my son asthma flared despite giving him treatment around the clock from when it start and at 4a, I had to take him to the ED. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was good enough. The surrounding area is a little rough but plenty of fast food options for a quick stay. I deducted points for being pretty pricey relative to neighboring hotels and considering what kind of hotel this is. Also removed stars for finding dirty washcloths (from their previous guests) hanging up in my shower during my stay. I couldn’t shake the feeling that the room hadn’t been cleaned well. I will stay at one of the other hotels next time— will be similar feel/ experience but half the price.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable. The kitchenette was great and the fridge was bigger than expected which was nice. The only “complaint” I have is that although my room had a window, it was frosted over so you couldn’t see through or receive natural light through it… which is good since it was an interior room overlooking the (indoor) swimming pool. Had I stayed for more than one night, I would have asked to move. The facilities were clean, quiet, and located right off the highway.

Everything was fine except for the flooring. The imitation wood floor throughout the room (no carpets anywhere) was not clean. No visible dirt, but when I tried to clean up a bit of talcum powder, the kleenex came up black. Similar results in all three places in the room including the bathroom. I showed the desk clerk the tissue upon checking out.

The front desk staff was welcoming upon arrival. The room and bathroom were clean and well-appointed. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

We did note causes for concern around safety. When arriving to the room, the door seemed to be unlocked. Then when leaving the room after settling in, we confirmed that the door indeed would not lock. We did happen upon a member of housekeeping, who after 10 minutes and contacting maintenance, helped us to resolve the issue. Overnight, we were awoken to the fire alarm. We chose to evacuate our room and waited 15 minutes before the fire department came to stop the alarm. No one from the staff came around during that 15 minutes to check in on guests or reassure us that it was indeed a false alarm. The room we were assigned was next to an outdoor courtyard. We could not open our window blinds to maintain privacy from anyone being able to look directly into our room. A group of guests sat outdoors drinking and talking in this area until after midnight which made it difficult to have quiet for sleep. The walls must not be soundproof as we could also hear all talking and noise from the hallway. Across the street from the hotel there is a laundromat. We saw the police on site in the early evening trying to get a group of people loitering and drinking to leave that property.

Recommend this hotel for a quick overnight stay only, but not if you are hoping for a night of good sleep.

Upon arrival the area around the hotel appeared unsafe. The women working the front desk appeared to not know what she needed to do to check us in and the equipment wasn't working. (Printer, computer). The room was fine. At 5:30am the fire alarm went off so we went outside and no one from the hotel gave us the clear to go back in. We just went in after the alarm stopped and saw others going in. At 10:30am the fire alarm went off again. At this point we just left.

If you’re looking for an easy in, easy out, clean, quiet hotel with a spacious room and roomy bathroom, this is your place. Very competitive pricing IMO. Five minute drive, or less, into downtown. Seconds to the interstate. We were visiting our son who attends college here.

Advertised as an extended stay hotel, we found NOTHING in the room that could be used for cooking or eating. We found out only as we were checking out that there were kits available with the things we needed - plates, silverware, etc. Seems like the clerk fell down on the job at check in.
That's kind of immaterial, since the room had a BIG window that, when the curtains were opened, revealed frosted glass overlooking a dark workroom/storage area The room had NO SUNLIGHT - NONE. We put up with living in a dungeon for a week because someone apparently didn't think we needed to be able to see the sky or enjoy natural light.
But back to the \"kitchenette\". No lights - we had to move a floor lamp to have enough light to be able to see what we were doing. And ONE duplex outlet, which was shared between the refrigerator (which had never been leveled), under powered microwave, and coffee pot.
And the highlight of our week: the false fire alarm that went off at around midnight. And the non-working card lock on the swimming pool door. And the repulsive scent of whatever stink-um was sprayed in the automated dispensers in the hallway. And the inability to change anything about the AC/heater. And a general lack of power outlets throughout the room.
The cleaning staff was more pleasant and helpful than all but one of the front desk crew.

First, they gave us a room even without cleaning from previous stay. Further, the room we stay was at 1st floor, the carpet is dirty, not sure if they cleaned has been cleaned before. The whole room was moist, made us very uncomfortable vs the price we paid.
