I wanted to love it, our room was nice and the setting was beautiful. Our key card did not work at all. I had to make over 10 trips to the front desk to have the cards re-programed and they kept saying they didn't know what was going on but never looked into the problem. On Saturday they had a baby shower in the lobby and would not allow hotel guests to access the patio, we had to walk around the end of the building where all the staff were smoking. The actual words from the worker was that they paid to have the party there. Well I paid to stay in the hotel and use the amenities but I guess that doesn't matter.

The rooms were clean and have everything you need. We loved the countertops and flooring. It’s so much better than a typical hotel. We will 100% be going back.

We took the kids for the weekend and it was a little get-a-way. We didn't have to leave the property, everything is right there. The water park was great. The water was actually warm. The hot tub was amazing. The outdoor pool was too cold to get into for me. The kids got in. There's not a lot of vegan options onsite, but it's manageable. Everything costs extra thought so be prepared to pay for arcade, water park fee etc.

I need the hotel to refund the full amount of my reservation because they ruined my family's New Year's Eve celebration, which we had been planning since October. The Greek Peak hotel overbooked its rooms, and when we arrived at 8 PM, they didn't have our room available. I had booked for eight people, and they only had a room for three. My family was left without accommodation, and we had to drive home that same night in the middle of a snowstorm because the hotel didn't have the room available, even though we had booked it back in October.

Everything about this property was very underwhelming from the food to the amenities not a single person that we encountered other than the barista at the Starbucks had basic customer service skills. there was zero warmth, just blank stares and silence. the place was not decorated for Christmas. There was a very money grabbing attitude at every turn staff did not greet us but just asked us if we had prepaid for this and that service. Our room 204 was horrendous, located over a giant industrial HVAC vent which we had trouble sleeping through. fortunately the second night we were relocated to a decent room. I don’t have plans to go back

Additionally, we were not informed that the pool would close earlier the following day due to the holiday, which unfortunately affected our plans.

Our daughter is a student at SUNY Cortland. We always try to stay at Hope Lake Lodge since it's a beautiful resort with great amenities and fitness center just minutes away from Cortland. Staff is always professional and friendly! We love staying here and can't wait to book again!

This was our second stay at the Hope Lake Lodge and we loved it! The Lodge is beautiful; it has a very cozy lobby with a fireplace and bar and outside the lobby is a nice firepit area with tables and chairs. Our room was a very nice size and extremely clean. We dined at both Carvers and Trax Pub & Grill (located across the street) and enjoyed both places. We will be back again!

We loved this place! We were a group of 8 people- 2 families. 5 adults two kids and one infant. The water park was small but so fun. No lines at all for the slides. The arcade was fun for the kids and we loved our room- the River Rock Suite. The first night we had dinner at the restaurant and had great service and the food was good. Service was great overall. We will definitely return!

I wish I had been told in advance that there was construction going on , the letter in my room after I drove 5 hours didn’t help. . The windows of my room were wrapped in plastic the one full day I was there. Room service never came even though we left out the sign on the door. The steak house ended up being closed, nice if I knew that in advance too. I picked the wrong time to go, there was a group they took over the fire pit area and my daughter and I could not use the area to melt the smoores being offered.
Starbucks looses nice, Murphy beds needs help, falling apart. We found a nice golf spot, Elm Tree, liked it better than Willowbrook set up.

The building is pretty - a ski resort in the winter. But the room itself was just ok. It wasn't super clean and the beds were uncomfortable. But it did have a kitchen and most of the necessities... pots, pans, dishes. If you want to make your own coffee, bring your own coffee filter.

Overall, it was a great experience. The property especially near the swimming pool needs to be cleaner. I found a chipped nail there. The kitchen was great but it would help if a kettle was added. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hot tub and pool hours for the hotel was very short and we couldn’t make it most days as it shut down at 7 pm. The hot tub needs to be open after hours. The waterpark had lifeguards everywhere which was great. The property had scenic views and opportunities to walk. We loved the cleanliness of the property and helpful nature of the staff.

We were so excited to visit the lodge. Until we got there. Let’s start off with… The water park opens at 4pm!!! I booked it for my kids!!! Are you kidding me? Next, the restaurant was closed 2.5 of our 3.5 day stay. If you don’t know-it’s the ONLY restaurant on the property which is located in the middle of nowhere! We showed up to the bar to order from the limited menu but they were 5 minutes from shutting down , and the cook had left! It was 8:55pm on vacation. Then, the lady told us they open back up at 10p for a couple hours but guess what? That late night menu has like 6 gross things on it. The next day we booked a spa appointment online. Then, when we showed up, they told us that they didn’t know anybody scheduled anything and so they sent everyone home!! To top it off we drive to Cortland. They literally close all the restaurants at 9pm! We barely made it in into a pizza place that closed at 10p for them to tell us that most of the menu is not available because it’s in the freezer. They are stuck in 2020 and refuse to change. The only good thing about the trip was some hiking in Ithaca. The city of Skaneateles was so cute but FULL of pride flags. No thank you. It felt gross there. Especially to see a Pride flag in front of an Episcopal Church. I thank God we live in the beautiful state of Florida. This entire area does not suffer from working too hard or wanting to rank highly on customer service. They should put a sign out that says “tourists don’t come.”

I was under the impression that the Trax restaurant was also at the main lodge so we had a long walk. Also, it mentioned a pool for amenities which I never saw. Lastly, check out is way too late for that price. It doesn't give us much time at the hotel itself.

We have stayed at this property multiple times. It is generally quiet, priced well, has a very good restaurant and bar area. It has a very nice outdoor area with a fireplace and ample seating. An overall excellent stay.
