At checkin I was told that the room I was getting the TVs didn't work. The room I checked into the TVs there did not work as well. Clearly water damage along the bathroom walls along the tub. Really should call it rot. The smell of marijuana was so strong. And there was no breakfast Continental or otherwise.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was happy ... clearly going downhill.

The lock on door broke so only way in was staff letting me in by a key. They didnt even offer to switch me rooms. Dirty tub and shower head. Ceiling had huge paint bubble like was holding water and about to pop. The breakfast was biscuits that made popeyes biscuits look moist. And small sausage. Had coffee but no cups. Waited 20 min a d never saw any staff. The only good thing was the lady who worked the desk at night. She was polite and very helpful even though the place is falling apart

Do not stay at this hotel. They advertise continental breakfast and both days we were there it was not offered. We asked management and they said they don’t have supplies for the breakfast and we stayed for 2 days. The tv did not work properly and there was a fight in the hotel. This location was not what we were expecting and will never stay there again.

Had room booked and confirmed however when we went to register, we were informed they had made an error and room was already occupied. I needed that certain room with the 2 bedrooms since I HAD MY ELDERY MOTHER THEY WANTED TO GIVE US 2 SEPERATE ROOMS WHICH I COULD NOT ACCEPT. I WAS NOT GOING TO PUT MY MOM IN A SEPRATE ROOM. When I returned to the hotel after attending a high school football game, my card would not let me in the door. After four trips back and forth to the lobby to get the card reprogrammed, the desk manager suggested that he give me another room. I use a cpap machine, so I needed to get to MY room, and also his remedy involved waiting until eight or nine o'clock in the morning when maintenance would come in to fix the problem with the door in my original room. I had a seven hour drive to go back home and was leaving at six in the morning. This is a ridiculous concept of problem solving, and you should do better maintenance on your doors to make sure they open when they're needed to open.

Roaches in the room. I've stayed at this hotel at least four times previously without major issues, but this time, you struck out.

I feel safe there, but the building is starting to show its age. The room we got didn't even have a badge showing it's room number. It appeared to have been ripped from the wall and not replaced. Also, the room didn't have the usual little convinces like an ice bucket or cups.

Stood in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting to check in and no one ever showed. Rang the bell, called the number as the sign stated, and still nothing. Housekeeping called two numbers to try to get someone to come to the hotel and she also had no success. This is no way to run a business. Fortunately, I was able to go to the hotel next door and immediately book a room.

Upon arrival there was no one to check us in, Staff came to work at around 3:40pm. He was not friendly. As we were putting things away there was a cockroach in the fridge, and was not cleaned well. The only internet was in the hallway. Our two children were upset. I had called two days before our check in to ask if the suite had pots, He said yes,there are two. there were none and we didn't bring any. I had ask about their breakfast, I was told it was a full breakfast. It was not, The only fruit was rotten apples, biscuits had something green on them. So we were afraid to eat anything. No coffee pot in room.
When we pulled out the sofa sleeper it had crumbs, had no sheets only a mattress protector, the mattress was coils covered with fabric. We had to put the couch cushion together and sleep on them. The bathroom was dirty. At check out, I had let the Staff know that outside the door was Cheetos and ants were all over the entrance. Two hours later when we left they were still there. We will never stay there again.

Went in to have breakfast at 8 am, but hardly anything was there. There were only 1.5 sausage links, some gravy, and 3 biscuits. The waffle batter was empty, only got to make one small waffle that stuck to the waffle maker and had to dig it out in pieces, even after spraying the surfaces with oil. There were no eggs, no breads, no yogurt, no fruit. There was no food staff member. Asked the front desk staff member who was outside smoking at the time if there was more food. He went into the kitchen and brought a few more sausage links out. When asked if there were any breads or anything else, he indicated NO, their shipments have not come in. We booked this hotel because breakfast was included, but didn't get any breakfast and had to purchase outside. Very disappointed.

When we walked in we IMMEDIATELY smelled mold in the lobby. Checked in and went to our room where mold was every where. We felt it was unhealthy to even try to stay here and had to leave and find another hotel. If I could give ZERO stars to the hotel and staff I would. The front desk clerk denied a refund probably because everyone else turned and ran also.

1.Clean Pool
2.Friendly staff
3. Clean front lobby and the nice clean bleach smell had me feeling hopeful for the cleanliness but that's where it ended for us.
4. Cold AC in room 207
5. Cold in room fridge. Most hotels mini fridges suck but not this one. Was a beast.

Negatives:
1. Roaches in our bathroom room #207
2. Broken Ice machine for entire stay
3. At 9 am they where out of waffle mix. A big selling point was not paying for breakfast for the entire family but we ended up eating out for our entire stay.
4. Broken office chair in room. The back to the chair was practically snapped off
5. Elevator was shut down due to \"running slow\" (it was back up and running following morning) staff did not put up an out of order sign on the elevator or at front desk.
6. Loose floor tiles that where lifting up when stepped on in the bathroom from water damage.
7. Our friends stayed in room 305 and there was black mold on the ceiling of the shower. Also the AC was running poorly in this room.

I have LIVED in way worse and I'm not a picky person but hey I work all year long and finally get a week off and paid for this BS I expected better on my vacation.

It was terrible. I saw bugs on our bed and i called about broken toilet and it was never fixed. Employees were very rude. I tried to get refund for second night plus i paid for protection and they never would never answer. We also had someone paint a T on the back of my car while we were staying there

Who designed this place?!

They claim to have free WiFi, but none of the 4 routers reached our room except for enough time to see it, but couldn’t connect to it. Then disappeared right away. The room was clean, but the beds were so far apart that the side chair was shoved into the corner and was basically a waste of space. The center nightstand was so small there was at least 8” away from either bed. Non-Smoking facility but it smells like cigarettes outside the elevator every time we went up from the first floor like it’s trapped in the carpet. The parking lot was half full, but put all these noisy kids and dogs around my room. Couldn’t space us out? It had 3 floors. I thought breakfast was weak, but my husband was happy to see biscuits and gravy. The toiletries were nice. Cute little Dove Brand products, and conditioner! No one ever gives conditioner. Only nice part of the stay. Had cable but most of the channels were selling stuff and unwatchable. Stay somewhere else.

The day I checked in there were a few small roaches in my restroom. The toilet is lopsided and leans towards the sink, which was very uncomfortable. The humidity fan in tge restroom didn't work, so any time I took a shower the whole room got humid. I didnt see anymore roaches until Thursday. There was a big one in the restroom so I bought new toiletries and put them all in ziplocks. My fear is that they get in my luggage and take them into my home. Lastly the remotes to both tvs acted like the battery was dying but I swapped them and it was the same. I'm not typically a person to complain but I stay here often and this was a bad one for me. I was overall extremely impressed with the accommodation at the Baymont. The suite had everything we needed for a family of 5 with 2 dogs. The bonus is that breakfast is servered from 5 to 10 with is perfect for those who get up early or wants to sleep in late. The options for breakfast was astonishing. My little daughter couldn't believe that a hotel had a restaurant in it. So funny. Great place to stay if your needing a good clean little place to stay for awhile on vacation.

A Complete Nightmare! Roaches! Stay Away!

Do Not Stay Here! I opened the microwave and there were roaches inside! I killed one to show the front desk employees. Both ladies confirmed it was a roach. I told them there were more all over the fridge so they had the cleaning lady come up to my room with me to confirm. I opened the microwave and they scurried out and across the fridge. We moved the fridge and at least 50 more were behind it! It was absolutely disgusting! The cleaning lady screamed! I took a video to show the front desk. I checked my luggage which was in the same room as the fridge and microwave and there were roaches in my luggage as well! I immediately brought all of my luggage outside and shook out every article of clothing I had. I was in town for my cousins wedding and this horrible experience ended up ruining the entire day for me as I was now stuck trying to find another place to stay and having to pay last minute prices. I asked for a refund and they only refunded my last night. I had to wait for the manager to get there to authorize it. The manager never made contact with me and never apologized, however, as I was shaking out my belongings, one of the female employees, rudely came outside to tell me that I better hurry up because the manager would be calling the police. I asked what wrong I was doing and she just walked away. I called the police myself, explained what happened and wanted to make sure I was not breaking any laws. The owner happened to also be there and offered no apology. Horrible!

ROACHES AND FABULOSO MOLD SMELLS DO NOT STAY HERE

As soon as you Walk in. It smells very, very overpowering of fabulouscleaner like they're trying to hide some type of smell, which later we smelled mold TV in the lobby does not work. Broken desk chair in our handicapped room. Cracked bathroom floor by the drain, dirty stained floor in the bathroom Four adults in one room and they only gave us towels 1each We had to keep asking for towels. We had to keep asking to clean our room and throw out the trash There was a big roach in our room on the floor. We have a video on our last day. When we moved our refrigerator and there was a whole swarm of roaches. We had to shake out all of our clothes in the parking lot before we got on the flights. The phone in the room doesn't work. Why is it in there? The blow dryer on the wall only has cold air and it fell off the wall. We took a roach to the front desk and showed it to them and told them we had roaches in our room and all they said was oh yeah, that's a roach. Could not switch us to another room, nor did I want to switch to another room may have been worse. They were booked. We were here for a family wedding and we had 4 other families staying in their hotel and they had the same exact experience, especially with the roaches and the smell. We ask the cleaning people if they can tone down on the smell of the cleaner and they said that's what they use. It was too much too too much. Then they only offered a 1 day refund. They should have given us all our money back.Or half ! NEVERAGAIN

I would not ever stay here again.

I would not stay here again. First room had lots of roaches and hot n musky. The smoke detectors had been removed n smelled like smoke. Second room had whstvi assumecto be human feces by the couch.3rd room didn't happen. I left and stayed elsewhere. The women at the counter obliged easily with new rooms but it wasn't getting any better so I cut my losses and left. Not sure if i was \"dealt\" a bad hand but its not worth me trying again to find out.

The second room, I got up at 5am to use the restroom and another roach came from under my blankets!! Traveling from GA we were already tired and decided to double up for the night although it was inconvenient. The customer service was terrible. There were stains on the linen and just an overall terrible experience. It put a damper on this family trip.
