I have stayed in many, many motels as a traveling RN. This was one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed in. Immediately upon entering the room, I was overwhelmed with a strong smell of Lysol. It was bad! I have severe asthma, so I kept the door open for a few minutes to air it out……that is until I saw 2 roaches literally walking into my room. I literally kicked them out the door with my shoe. They were the huge roaches! They were also scattering all over the concrete in front of the room's. I’m horrified, but wait because it gets better. I had a few things to get out of my truck so I shut the door and as I was walking outside, I looked down at the grass and it was covered with hundreds and hundreds of dead roaches. Dead roaches, live roaches, absolutely disgusting! The bed smelled like pee. I guarantee that the mattress had pee all over it. The smell was so strong of pee and Lysol, my nose was burning. The microwave was completely rusted inside and the glass thing you set your food on was missing. II was not getting in that shower either. Sick, sick, sick! There was half a bottle of used shampoo with a hair on it, nothing else. Not even a bar of soap for my hands. The people in the room next to me blasted their music until after midnight. It was a miserable stay. I would have left if I wasn’t so tired from driving over 16 hours straight. Avoid at all cost‼️‼️‼️

Never got that far, we left as soon as we walked in the room. There were roaches, the bedding was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty and the baseboard was falling off of the wall. We had to call Hotels.com at 12:30am and they helped us find another hotel because the manager refused to give us our money back. The owners attitude is trash and the rooms I wouldn't let my dog stay there! DON\"T GO!

It was reasonable, it was clean and service was good but the bed was hard and the wall outlets were sticking out of the wall, I had roaches in my room and even found a couple of them on the bed in the middle of the night when I woke up. Not a place I would stay at again.

This gives cheap motels a bad name

It was an absolute nightmare. No AC, the room smelled STRONGLY of chemicals. It was hard to breathe. I was there an hour and my car alarm went off twice from people trying to break in. First time I’ve ever just abandoned a hotel room, ate the expense and found another hotel I am fine with cheap accommodations. This was next level bad.

Three weeks ago we booked a room for disabled person.
No room for us. The registrant made us wait for him more than half hour! He wanted we to go to a room on the second floor!
The room was clean but we had no shampoo and dush gell for our bath, only two small soaps!

The bed sheets were dirty.Thebathtub was not cleaned.The floors not mopped.They had an extention cord going across the bathroom sink to pkug the refridgeratir and microwave.Big Hazard.Had bugs crawling on the celing.Pool was ripped apart and an eye sore.This is by far the worst place I have ever entered.Got a refund and got away from there.

Will not stay here again

Did not enjoy our stay at all! The ice machine was down, ac was not on in the room when we arrived so it was hot and musty smelling. This could be my fault since for some reason they had me down for a smoking room and I needed a non smoking room. The biggest part was the bed creaked every time you wiggled. My partner shakes his leg during the night and the creaking bed kept me awake. Good news is the fire alarms seem to work as we were awakened by one at 5:40am.

This was by far the worst hotel I have been to. I know it was only $60, but come on. They run the place like a prison. Wanted all of the information about my other occupant which was irritating but okay. However, they allowed no visitors. No overnight guest I would easily understand, but no visitors at all? You cannot enter the office. There is a small window that is reminiscent of a check cashing facility that you have to pass all of your information through. The facility was nasty. The room had mold in the bathtub, around the mirrors and the trim. The worst was that the toilet did not flush. We dropped our clothes off and left before either one of us used the facilities. We got back late to discover that the toilet did not work. The strangest thing was that there was a man that walked the facility all morning. It gave the impression that he was watching the guests for violations. I never write reviews for anything, but this deserved one. This was way beyond a 'you get what you pay for' scenario.

When I got there I found hairs in sink. Opened a facecloth and it had hair folded up in it. Cricket on floor by bed. After sleeping in bed overnight I turned down bed covers and there was a spider in my bed. The door wouldn’t close and you could see daylight thru the cracks.

I have never stayed in a more disgusting room!!! The curtains and walls had nasty looking stuff ALL over them, the floors were gross, the shower curtain stank, there were fleas in the bed...shall I go on? Then we were supposed to get a 10% military discount and the desk clerk kept telling me he gave it to us and he was lying through his teeth we paid the same price we were quoted before the discount!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Place was nasty and filled with cockroaches, owner gave us a different room and the ac didn’t work. So he said there is nothing he can do either we stay or we leave. He Said no y’all can just leave so my wife went in to get her purse off the bed and he tried shutting the door on my Pregnant wife and 5yr old.
After arguing with him for about an hour he finally gave the refund back. Service was Terrible

The price was right. Location close to my destination. The room was comfy and clean. The only thing was I had a room with 2 bed and it was only me. They had me pay at the window, $8 more dollars for the just incase person because I had 2 beds. It ended up I did have a guest but what if I didnt?

Well honestly my Lady is a employee for marble falls Texas Motel 6 and the fact we drove 3 1/2 hrs to attend a funeral from are loved ones and the employee here at Motel 6 in Clute TX told us we didn't have a reservation nor can he give us a discount on are stay bc they are to busy to allow a employee discount. The rooms are very unprofessional cleaned. They haven't been cleaning anything thing at all...It's a dump and we will never attend this motel again.. Also right when we was going to leave to find a motel else where, the receptionist said he could give us a 10 dollar discount.. Come on now this is BS and very unprofessional and I rate this motel a -10 for sure

Likes: bed was clean. Had a frig and microwave. AC was nice and cold. 15 mins from the beach. No carpet, but the floors get dirty fast (could use a door mat to wipe off feet before entering).

Needs work/attention: pool was cloudy, pump was not turned on the 4 days I was there, had no chlorine smell. Walls had “mystery spots”, esp on the wall next to the toilet... so gross! There were no plugs in the sink or tub to hold water, so no bath for kids. Shower curtain was mildewy. Floors were dirty behind doors and behind/under bedside tables. Parking lot was brightly lit the whole night, so the room never got dark. The rooms facing the parking lot are VERY noisy. Freeway noise, and 18 wheeler truck drivers drive into the parking lot at all hours. I think the rooms facing the pool might be quieter. There is no washer/dryer as advertised. No coffee in lobby or in room. Lobby is still covid closed, have to check in through a window. The whole place could use a good power washing....sidewalks and parking lot were just so filthy. Grass needed mowing. Front desk said he didn’t have access to housekeeping supplies....I needed to clean the toilet after maintenance repaired it, but housekeeping was already gone. I also wanted to wash the floor, but they only had a broom. I also used the pool skim net on the pool.

Overall: bring your own cleaning supplies and door mat. The bed was clean, which is really the MOST important thing to me.

We went late at night just to grab a shower and sleep. Best price around considering it was already midnight when we booked. Front desk tried to tell me I had no reservation without checking first. After standing outside in the dripping ac water (Bc lobby is closed) 10 mins we were confirmed we had a room. He was telling us the room we were actually getting was more expensive that the one we booked. We booked 1 king he gave us 2 queens. Mind you there is only two of us so it didn’t matter and it’s 2 am at this point, chances are the room isn’t getting booked anyway.
He tried to tell me check out was at 10 am I told him that website said 11 am. He said yes that’s right. So why tell me 10 am.

We get to the room and the ac works well. The beds are clean. The floors are dirty and the shower is moldy. Moldy tile, moldy shower curtain, moldy caulking, all you really need is to spray bleach and it’ll probably clean up.

We showered got ready for bed and are woken up in the morning by very loud banging from housekeeping wanting to come in and it’s 9:30 am. Completely unnecessary, if a room is booked why not check first if they have Checked out or not first.
Not a good experience overall. We won’t stay here again.

They are currently doing some remodeling to the rooms but they are small. We had a 2 bed room for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was tight. At least for me. The floors were dirty but bed sheets were clean. They did do room service once out of the 3 nights we syayed there. For us, the beds were hard. The hotels.com site says no pets allowed but after speaking to the guy at the front desk, they said pets were allowed and stay for free. The pool was open but really dirty. Overall, if you need a cheap place to stay at for a night, it's not too bad.

Our online booking has been canceled because the motel had been overbooked but the staff worked with us and we were able to get a room at the quoted rate that we found online which was awesome. The only downside about this would be we were not notified ahead of time about the termination of our reservations before we got here.

I've stayed here twice when I needed a cheap place to sleep for the night. The bed is firm, but okay. The 1st time I stayed with my wife and the bathroom floor wasn't real clean around the edges. This time I was alone. There was a ring around the tub and some hair there so maybe they forgot to clean it. I could have asked for another room, but didn't.
