Staff was friendly, but my room wasn’t clean it had dead roaches on the bathroom floor,the mattress had stain on it that smelt like bleach but look like blood on it,pillow cases had stuff on it I don’t know what exactly but the staff over all was pretty good.

The floor was covered in a disgusting amount of residue, the bed had some sort of mold and dead bugs, and the shower was covered in filth. Everything else was fine but this made it impossible to stay longer than a single night.

The property is currently in the middle of a complete overhaul, remodel, ownership change, as well as a brand change. Checkin was simple and quick. The design of the room was very modern and comfortable. Cold ac and hot shower. Comfortable bed too. Decent wifi.

Roach infested crack motel.

This place was a roach infested dump. As soon as we stepped in and turned on the light we counted 8 roaches that scattered. We demanded our money back which management refused. We left and found a better place to stay. We disputed the credit card charges and were granted a full refund. Stay there if you like roach infested crack motels.

Avoid at costs in Lake Jackson Tx.

One of the worst rooms ive ever stayed in plaster falling off ceiling; not phone or bedside lamp working, horrible wifi-basically useless, tub corroded and rusty; room door warped w/ huge crack for bugs along bottom and side; moldy carpet smell, all metal in room rusted ( lamps even coffee maker;; cigarette burns in bedspread. Baddddd condition and better cheaper hotels in the area. Last stay in a Super 8.

The 1st room was literally filled with spiders n cobwebs. Tried to use their phone to call front desk it literally did not have a plugin. Called front desk on my cell they said they'd provide another room. The next room was full of mold where it was visible to the eye. Definitely a health Hazzard! We requested our money back!

In a non smoking room, there was burnt cigarette holes in the sheet and comforter. There was drool stains on the pillow cases. The bathroom floor was dirty from the last person who stayed there. The shower stays on when it’s turned off while filling the tub and the tub drain was broken. Lastly the curtains did not close all the way because they were torn down in the center. I slept with my pistol on the nightstand.

Don’t go to this motel, we couldn’t get back into our rooms because the card reader was broken for both of our rooms, the rooms themselves were full of cobwebs and just all around disgusting, rust all over the fridge door and the shower water was brown. Also found a dead decomposing bird in the pool.. wouldn’t recommend, not to mention I checked in at 1:30 pm and checked out at 8:30 pm due to the crappyness of the place, and they had the audacity to call me at 12:22 am talking about, “mr fuentes you need to cool it with the noise cause there are complains about you”, as if I was still there trying to cover their tracks acting like we were being a problem so they could keep our money. Best believe I got my refund from that hell hole. They will screw you over there.

I have never been to a place this filthy and run down. It really needs to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. They were in the process of repainting the outside but it will not help. The issues go so much deeper than paint. Cigarette burns on the comforter , carper and even the toilet. Carpet floors are damp and smell. Pool gates were welded and chained shut. Who ever in a recent review said they swam there would have had a hard time getting in to swim. I’m guessing it was a fake review. Any review that is positive about this place is probably fake.

I made reservations on line $56. for 2beds and night on memorial weekend i have to wait five 45 minutes to check in . To many people check in so by time my check in she said i don't have my name on the reservation i was so angry. I show her my email confirmation she pretends looking at it. Come to find out that she didn't want to gave it to me for $56. She charged other guests $130. that night. So please make sure you keep your conformation

Staff (not the owners) were very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing, they make a copy of your CC and do write down the card number exp and security number. They supposedly dont destroy it, not PCI compliant. Rooms are outdate and start to run down. Towels are old and really need to be replaced.

First time i have walked away from a room! Front desk person was nice. Pulled back the bedspread.2 live bugs.. not roaches...little black ones and a live one on the wall art above the bed. Smashed it with the pillow. Yikes! Sheets were rough and thin with stains. Per the sign out front...geared to out of town contractors. Looked like some people were living there as well. Photos on Expedia did not match current property

Overall this property was OK. The staff was excellent the problem I find was the overall odor in the rooms. A disinfectant odor would be a little better. It smells like rotten eggs. That was in every room. I understand if the water that is used to wash the sheets and bedding and curtains is very hard. Maybe adding a disinfectant or deodorizer in the wash would help with the O Odor. Maybe one of those new deodorizing agents that is put out by all would help. Outside of that everything else was real good. Even the coffee in the room. I recommend using bottled water though. Water is just really hard. Thank you again.

There was wet, hand towels hanging on the shower rod, there was hair all over the restroom. The tub was dirty and the bath water had a yellow tint. The bed pillows stunk like body/hair oils and there was roaches crawling on the walls. I pre-paid online, but I took a loss and just left and paid for a cleaner/safer hotel. This trip cost me twice as much just to feel safe and clean.

The hotel is in need of a makeover. Our room had mold in the bathtub. At breakfast the milk was spoiled. When they brought out a new container of milk it was already curdled. The staff said the day crew would be there in an hour and they could get fresh milk. They said the refrigerator must have finally give up. I will not stay there again and would not recommend this property to anyone.

I hate to say bad things about a place when it maybe is not anyone's fault. Maybe this is just the way things are in July this close to the ocean. The room just always was damp, our beach shoes never dried and other things did not get really dry after three days. We were on the first floor, and I wonder if it's a little better on the second floor, if part of the problem was the condensation from the A/C in the rooms above us. You can get the A/C really cold, but the numbers seemed off, like it was set at 64, which sounds like way to much, but when we tried turning it to a more normal temperature in the 70s it was too hot and we gave up and turned it back. The breakfast was very minimum, like one kind of instant oatmeal and two kinds of cereal and I think maybe frozen waffles. I didn't try the pool because we'd just been at the beach and the water park before that so I think I'd already been in the water enough. We often stay at Super 8, but I wasn't happy at this one. Just not sure if anywhere else would have been much better on our budget.

This place is a dump!

This place is a dump. So disappointed. I knew the minute we walked into the room I couldn’t stay there. I immediately called Hotels.com. The customer service representative put me on hold while he attempted to call the property. Then, hung up. We arranged a refund through the office, but only for 2 of the 3 nights we had booked. This place was $100.00 per night. Found a great hotel nearby. Clean, spacious and friendly staff, for $73.00 per night.

This motel is an Indian/Paki and although I have stayed in some that were acceptable, they have taken this motel back to India and made it third world. I don't understand why when they paint something they have to paint everything including the electrical outlets and switches along with the door handles. The floor was filthy and the shower was dirty and the toilet well..... Disgusting the bedding nasty. The continental breakfast was the cheapest bread that could be purchased and watered down OJ and cold coffee. No I would not recommend
This place to an enemy. And all for $75 a night what a deal orbitz!

Water damaged room.

The room had recent water damage. The carpet, bedding, towels all felt wet to the touch even after they had been changed out. Everything from the cement walls painted lime green, to the furniture was depressing. Wish I had stayed at the Clarion next door.

Upon arrival the front office staff on 7/1 am was very efficient and pleasant to deal with, she allowed for my son to check in earlier than normal d/t him having 2 children under 3 and not used to flying or the texas heat. The first day was ok 7/2 other than one of the rooms did not have sufficient cleaning, 7/3 none of the rooms were serviced, garbage around the complex was overflowing, the laundry room smelled awful, like some dead animal, went to inquire about service, front male clerk states that they haven't come back from break and hadn't gone to our rooms yet and this was around 2pm. Asked for fresh towels all were allowed were 3. No service for that day. 7/4 laundry service smelled much better, notice someone emptying out the out door trash cans, 1x per hr per can. Over all the complex needs updates and thorough cleaning, esp the bathrooms, mold along the edges. I have stayed at several Wyndym hotels before and have not experienced one like this. There was another client there and indicated her disappointment as well

We had a room that had cockroaches and grasshoppers. We had huge spiderwebs in our room. The room was filthy and was not even cleaned before our arrival. It was dusty and beds had spider webs. I was very unhappy and not satisfied at all. Never will stay again. Our door did not close properly when we checked out.

Free Wifi was available only around the front desk area, I was in the room 150 no wifi, the change to room 109 no Wifi, change to room 108 still no wifi. Basically, No wifi in the Rooms.

Found the hotel to be extremely dated and need of renovations. I'm not sure how this motel maintains a Super 8 franchise. loose toilet seat, loose shower rods, peeling paint and texture above the toilet. They ran out of coffee for the individual makers in the room. Ran out of facial tissue and they weren't replaced. Small television, noisy a/c, carpet so dirty you had to wear sandals to keep your feet from turning black form the imbedded grease.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful since I'm not from the area. There is no business center, but they let me print off a couple of documents from their office computer. The beds are not super comfortable, but the room was clean. There was a refrigerator and small microwave in the room, making it easier to bring home left overs!

Honestly ,hotels.com shouldn't have this hotel. Payed $100 a night ,for a hotel in my opinion that was probably worth $60 a night. Beds we're dirty, blankets we're hard as a rock n really rough,cigarette holes all over them. Pillows we're very thin thy had a bad smell . Restroom had mold all over including the shower! This hotel is not worth the $100 a night!

Even in the Dark

I was in Lake Jackson to attend an event at the college there. The Super 8 is located very conveniently near the freeway and close to town and the college. Everything was ready for me; the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient. The room was better than I expected considering the low price, clean, comfortable, good TV and two soft chairs. Now the first night there was a storm and the lights went out all over Lake Jackson. A staff person was available to escort us to and from our car in the dark and inquire if we needed any help. We opened the door and sat on our soft chairs in the doorway and socialized with other visitors. It was actually kind of fun. The same staff person, with his flashlight, stayed available in case of problems, but there weren't any. Anyway, this motel helped make my 3 day stay in Lake Jackson delightful.

Worst hotel that I have ever stayed in.

First I reserved a room online in advance, it was a king size smoking room. When I checked in it was not available and noticed that the room number was crossed out and another room written in. The room was very outdated ie: bedding, carpets, broken lamps, non working phone, bathroom tile was filthy. The two pillows were so flat and worn out I requested 2 more or replacement pillows. First I went down to the front desk and asked in person and the person said he would have 2 pillows brought up. Second, 2 hours later, I had to call from my cell, because of the room phone not working of course, asked again about the pillows and was told again they were going to be brought to me. Third, called again and was told by a different person that no extra pillows even exsisted.

Not worth the money at all...

It was definitely a waste of money. Room smelled like humid and it was noisy. The rooms next to us looked like they were pump rooms.
Could've paid 20 bucks more and go to a much better hotel.
