NIGHTMARE IN REAL LIFE.

Absolutely horrific terrible just down right awful. Bed bugs cockroaches and many other termites infested the entire building. Sheets weren’t even washed. Nervous to get in shower with sandles on. Owner was just unbelievably ill mannered and terrible screaming at me threatening me. HORRIBLE A ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and offered the \"Hill Country Special\" when he noticed where we were from. Turns out the Hill country Special is when they call you to let you know you left items behind in the room and to assure you they will hold on to them until you can come get them! Friendly staff, caring and very personable, would absolutely stay again!

We got into the room and checked everything out there were stains all over rhw carpet, cigarette burns on the ver thin comforter, stains on shower curtains, the walls look like they hadnt seen paint in years ans someone had left tissue stuffed in the peep hole. There were gnats the whole night rhat we had no idea where they came from. I did try to complain and request a refund thru hotels.com but all that happenwd was they called manager and he brought a comforter and shower curtain. The manger made me feel very uncomfortable like inshould.have known to call and tell them not who i booked thru. I wanted a refund not another comforter.

What you'd expect

Place was old, dilapidated, and in need of renovations. Stained carpets, bad paint, and an uncomfortable bed. But it's what you'd expect from a motel this cheap. It even came with a ghetto couple screaming at each other when i was trying to sleep. I'm just glad there was no bugs. Definitely would not book again though. I'll never be that cheap again.

Our stay was pleasant. We arrived on 7/28, and our reservations through Expedia was set.
The lady checking us in was helpful, and very nice.
She explained our room setup, and parking. She informed me that if we needed anything, just let her know.
The main issue was the parking, as we were unable to park near the room.
We had to carry our luggage to our room. Thank God we didnt have alot.
They had great security camera's so our car was watched by the office during the night.
In ending, we had a nice stay, and would stay there again if in the area.
Thanks also to Expedia for setting it all up.

Overall, it was a comfortable overnight stay. But the room was not at all clean...the mini fridge had nasty splatter stains (maybe milk) dried up on the outside which didn't make for a good welcome; I had to wipe it clean 'cus it grossed me out! I don't see how the cleaning lady had missed this...or plain ignored it?? Not nice!
Breakfast was a joke...we expected your typical full buffet like most places but all there was was cereal (with no milk...maybe ran out or not refilled) and honeybuns; juice machine was broken so not worth waking up early for such disappointment.
Staff at check in was quite nice and gave attentive service.
Beds were comfortable but the blanket had an unsightly cigarette burn. Surroundings were quiet so it was a restful night.
The place was not bad but could be much more cleaner!

Very hot in room. Cable was direct to an the weather wasn’t bad at all but signal wouldn’t work an contours to say program will be back in a minute. Called office several times an each time sent someone up to check it out. Within 10-15 minutes the same thing would happen again. Ice machine was out of order an drink vending machine was all sold out. Room very out dated especially the mini fridge. If there was availability some where else I definitely would have left. I don’t no what was going on in the area for there to be no rooms but it was a horrible stay

Great value room

We have stayed here in the past and it was ok but this time the attendant to check in was rude. We had to show all id's for both adults. I have never had to do this before. He was rude when he asked for it. The comforter on the bed was all stained. We ended up throwing it on the floor. The room was hot. We got there at midnight and was ready to go to sleep but it was hot. The carpet has a ton of stains. The bath tub is nasty looking barely wanted to put my feet in it.

There were so many rules that you had to sign off on before you could even stay like no making or having food in the room because of the smells that would stay in the room tnat we would be charged for....The room already had a smell and it was not food...The smell did kind of die out once the a/c started cooling the room....The breakfast was a joke, the waffle maker made kid size waffles and stuck to the griddle iron no matter how much spray you put on it, the juice machine was broke, they had 1 gallon of milk that everyone at the motel had to share, so it was gone in no time, the coffee they provided was almost gone too, but then again they sugar and creamer they allowed for all guest to use was already gone and we went to breakfast at 7:30am...breakfast is only served until 9am....The pool closes at 9....Management only allowed 1 bucket of ice and because we didnt know, while we were getting additional ice, he came yelling at us saying only 1 bucket of ice....the staff is very rude except for one, she seemed to be nice but worked for a really bad motel....I have a bad knee and asked for downstairs but was denied...they said they save their downstairs rooms for their weekly paying guest that actually live there....I HONESTLY WOULD NOT EVER RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE & WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN NO MATTER THE COST!!!!

NOT ACCOMMODATING BUT DEFINITELY RUDE

This was not the best accommodation but for a few hours it served its purpose. I accidentally reserved a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. Once I reach the hotel and notice the era, I requested to be moved to a non-smoking room since I have health problems. The front desk clerk was very rude and told me no so I moved on. Will definitely make sure I will not select this particular property again.

Check-in process was a bit interesting as they required the photo ID for every person staying in the room, but did not need the license plate of the vehicle (just make/model). Room doors are all on the outside of the building, plenty of parking and the area is very safe. Several dining options and fast food places nearby. The TV channel selection was better than most places as it had DirecTV. AC unit also had a thermostat which is nice for setting a temperature. Water pressure was solid and the room included a coffee machine.

NEVER AGAIN!!!

Horrible, this is the second time I have stayed here the first time was just as bad out of convenience I stayed again thinking maybe my previous stay was on a busy day and the reason behind such a horrible experience. DO NOT STAY HERE.....UNLESS you enjoy dirty towels, hairy tubs, and a sh***y toilet (literally). The towels were half folded and seemed as though they were previously used, damp and stained. 9am Breakfast was horrible cold waffle and no coffee had to interrupt the help into brewing a pot of coffee, then had to prey him off his video game again to let him know coffee was ready.So much for second chances.

I really have nothing positive to say about this \"hotel\"; calling it a hotel is being very generous. We got there after a very long and busy day to only find out that my reservation had been cancelled by Hotels.com (which apparently after talking to hotels.com was not the case. There was no cancellation on record.) I had not received an email nor did I request to cancel my reservation. So, I requested a room anyways and did not worry about it much because we were so tired. First, I had to pay $1 for the room key that I would get back if I turned in the key. To me, this is an inconvenience because I usually leave the room key in the room and never go back to the office. We got to the room and well, that's where it went downhill. (1) My girlfriend screamed when she looked in the tub to find a bug. So, I took care of that. (2) THE SHOWER WAS A BATH. It would absolutely not drain. She had to TURN OFF the shower to sit there 5 minutes to prevent an overflow from the shower. (3) The light in the bathroom would not stay on (some short or something). (4) The toilet seat was broken and would slide all around. (5) When we finally got through all of this and went to lay down, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. You felt every single spring in the bed and if you laid on one side or the other, you'd fall off because there wasn't support.

Room was right out of the '70's. Ugly hunter green carpet that really needs to be cleaned. The bed spread was some ugly brown pattern. There were cockroaches and possibly bed bugs. The front door had holes through it near the bottom. One light didn't work. The other tenants didn't exactly make one feel safe. And the hotel staff was pretty worthless. They knew nothing about the area, where to eat, how to get to major land marks, and made no effort at all to accommodate my request for an extra pillow.

Run fast, run far!

There was almost no parking. The tiny parking lot was filled with enormous pick up trucks with extra wide back ends, taking up extra space. Lots of contractors from the oil refineries. Not the safest \"feel\" for a woman traveling alone, arriving exhausted at 11 PM. The hotel did not have my reservation and claimed they were not yet working with the reservation company that I'm writing this review for. I had even sent a message saying I would arrive late, so I figured everything was in order. I gave them my confirmation number and they had no idea where I got that number. They gave me a room anyway (one of two left in the hotel). Originally gave me a king room, then changed it to two doubles before I left the front desk because they said guests had complained about a smell, and this one would be better. The place was scary, and creepy. The bathroom floor had pieces of toilet paper on it, and lots of hair...as did the bathtub, the sink, and wrapped in the hair dryer cord. Lots of \"built up dirt\" in the corners. The toilet would not flush. They front desk brought me a plunger. The hotel info said every room had an in-room safe, a microwave and mini-fridge....nope! Not mine. None of the above. The alarm clock was unplugged. I plugged it in, but the buttons wouldn't allow the time OR the alarm to be set, so I unplugged it again. Nice lady at the front desk. Apologized for everything, but just a yucky place. On hold for over an hour with the organization I made the reservations with (and for whom I'm writing this review) to get a new reservation, and finally was given a refund, so I went to another hotel a few hundred yards away. Only $7 a night more, and a PALACE, especially compared to this one. Like I said in the title, RUN FAST, RUN FAR.

The A/C in my room did not work told the front desk, the manager came by jiggled the button it came on for a few minutes and didn't work any more unless you did the same thing. The room was not very clean, The towels were very thin, The sheets smelled, The Tv was old, The toilet paper had news paper ink still in it and very rough! The breakfast that was offered was nasty too !!!!! Days Inn Corporation should shut this sorry place down!!!!!!! This is the only Hotel in the area children should be allowed to stay !!!!!!!!!

The first room had a broken toilet seat. The second room had a hole in the bathroom behind the door and the wall by the lightswitch was dirty. The outside of the refrigerator was also dirty. One morning I got up and their was a bug on its back in the corner of the bathroom that my husband took care of but it left a mark it did not get mopped until the following day. The bedsheets only got changed once on our last night there. One morning I opened up a face towel and there was a hair on it another on a bath towel. The last 2 days we did not receive more shampoo or conditioner. The breakfast room was not kept clean, dirty tables when we went in and over by the waffle maker was always messy. I plan on contacting the main office.

The environment in it self is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms can use some upgrades . The paint is pealing and dirty vents. All the wall plates need replaced. This is small things but the main thing is the roaches we had to kill while their. We reported it at check out and they said they would take care of it. They have a great breakfast.
